Do not come here if you have depression or you will not be treated like a patient. I was refered from my psychiatrist after my depression was ruled out as the main cause of my excessive daytime sleepiness. The "doctort" didn't even want to test me for narcolepsy, just sleep apnea, since I would have to stop my medication for a month that was already cleared with my psychiatrist. After fighting to even get the test, and the results clearly showing narcolepsy his advice was "sleep regularly and take naps and maybe try stimulants but your sleepiness is due to your mood just see your psychiatrist about it". This absolutely disrespected the results that my wakefulness cycle was clearly broken. My psychiatrist did not know how to treat narcolepsy but my new sleep doctor I was able to find does! I'm now on xywav and wakefulness medicine, none of which having any affect on my mental disability at all. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a doctor if you can not even help the people with sleep disorders you're supposed to be a specialist in! You'll get faster better help with literally anyone but here!
