Skillet Airport @ SeaTac International reviews
18Decent food. We ordered the grilled cheese and the kale salad. The salad was actually very good! The grilled cheese was not good. Same with the fries, both were bland. But what can you really expect from an airport restaurant. And btw their “gorgeous sauce” is just fry sauce.
Great service. Horrible food. Breakfast is overpriced continental hotel chain food. Instant eggs for scramble. Do not eat here.
Nice little diner in the N gate terminal. Service was quick and attentive. The food came out pretty quickly also. My party got The Burger, the chrispy chicken Sammy, and the spicy chrispy chicken Sammy.
After the food arrived, I wished I had gotten the chrispy chicken Sammy over the burger. The serving size of fries was less than I wanted. The burger was mid grade, not the best, not the worst, 3 out of 5. Both the chicken sandwiches looked and tasted great, 4 out of 5. The breakfast shot was worth trying, 4 out of 5, but the Moscow mule was pretty not good, 1 out of 5. Overall, 3.5 out of 5. I would eat here again.
The brown sugar syrup is AMAZING! The chicken was juicy and delicious. Best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Super friendly server as well. Great experience overall.
Not sure the food coukd be any worse if they buried. $17 burrito with potatoes that were soggy and barely worm. Order via QR code and then there is a suggested 20% tip.for what? I usually don't write reviews but hopefully this will help.
Worth calling out a good experience. I visited when this restaurant was running at maybe 30-40% capacity- not dead, but not slammed, so take that into account.
Understanding that restaurant food is always expensive, I have zero complaints. My salmon burger was expertly cooked and topped. Someone sweated the details and didn't just throw it together. The bun was perfectly toasted, the arugula was dressed and seasoned and in the right proportion, and the aioli was delightfully garlicky and not overapplied. Lastly, the side salad was also perfectly dressed and seasoned.
I would eat here if it were in my home town. Not only was the food good, but my server was kind and attentive without being overbearing. It was also charming, considering it's in an airport.
I came in and waited to be seated for a table for one. After waiting 3-5 minutes, one staff said the table wait will be longer since the guests sit and chill after they pay. They offered counter seating and said it would be quicker. I accepted but realized my feet were dangling. Since my legs are swollen from already traveling 5 hours, I needed my feet to be settled on the ground to reduce further swelling since I still had 4+hours left to fly back to Alaska for my grandsons funeral. The waitress decides to take it upon herself to complain loudly about me to the other guests siting at the counter about “how much” she has extended herself out to me and how horrible I was. I went to her and told her that was unprofessional and she doesn’t need to complain about me to other people. And she dismissed me and told me to “have a good day. ” I pray this never happens to her or someone she loves. But she is absolutely a horrible staff person because she doesn’t know how to treat much less read guests at all.
The petite Asian waitress who finished my order and gave me my food was highly professional and prompt - and kept any personal emotion she had about the situation to herself. She deserves 5 stars for understanding how to put her job responsibilities above any disgruntled feelings she may have about a situation. I wish more people understood they are there for a job and not to interject their disrespectful personality’s onto the guests when the guest isn’t in a good mood. I will always remember this situation with disappointment. I took my order to go.
Food was good but not great. The burrito was very small, my husband’s side of potatoes were undercooked, and my side salad was just lettuce with dressing. Not worth the price in my opinion. Picture is after I ate one half of the burrito.
I was skeptical at first, but the food is really good. Don't hesitate to stop by for a bite.
Food was much better than expected; pricy, but everything in Seattle is expensive. Our server was great, but overall, the service was ridiculously bad. 3 employees would rather stand around chatting than take care of paying customers.
I know it's an airport but this is still the second worst burrito I've ever had. The worst one was also in Washington so maybe I should stop trying to eat them in Washington altogether
Not sure what’s up with the low reviews- the Chub was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The eggs were yummy, the sauce is made in-house, the jam deliciously paired with the Brie and the bacon, generous portions. The avocado wrap was legit as well, big, fresh. Awesome place even if it was not in an airport! 5 stars.
We attempted to get takeout between flights at 7: 20pm. Greeter told us that only sitdown was available, which hardly seems like a good business plan at a busy airport location. We were pressed for time, but lacking options decided to chance it.
My son spilled his drink, and although the server saw this, did nothing to help and hung out by the server station. I walked to the bar to ask for assistance or a towel since we had no napkins and the sofa was dripping off the table and onto the seats, clothes, and floor. She said she would send someone, but minutes went by. Then our server walked by, but chose to seat other patrons instead. I asked if we could at least have towels, and he brought one paper towel. I had to ask for more, as my son could not exit his booth without getting soaked and by now we were sitting sideways to keep from getting wet. This server (Patrick), nor the bartender who saw the whole thing, did absolutely nothing to help - no offers to reseat us, no attempt to assist with the cleanup. The main walkway next to our table was soaked and other guests had to walk through it. Finally a mopper came over after we had already wiped everything. We took our order to go. Little courtesy would have gone a long way, but none was offered. Too bad, as we have no reason to come here again.
I forgot to take a photo, but the ‘blackened’ sockeye salmon Sammy was amazing! It was more ‘grilled’ than ‘blackened’ but I prefer that. Highly recommend this restaurant. Not cheap (we’re in an airport), but comfortable/casual Atmosphere, the food was incredibly fresh and delicious
The burger I had was outstanding. It had arugula, bleu cheese, and bacon jam and was served on a brioche bun. The fries were fresh and had perfect texture. The service was very friendly and fast. You can order and pay by QR code if you wish. Great experience!
A perfect customer service trifecta niightmare; rude servers, dirty tables and floors, coupled with cold food that should be warm. Avoid this place if at all possible.
Exactly what it says on the tin. Irish coffee was made with solid pours. The breakfast burrito was under seasoned but you expect that from a diner style place in an airport and the use of heat was on point with respect to texture and flavor development and table seasoning conpensated reasonably. Good elasticity on the tortilla as well but then again maybe I've spent too much time away from the west coast. Probably wouldn't have left a review but the average I'm seeing is unfairly low imo.
Breakfast burrito is 80% flour tortilla, (see picture of leftover tortilla - eggs okay inside. Avocado old…left a weird taste in my mouth.
