Outback Steakhouse, Beckley WV

It’s a hit or miss here. This could possibly hit a 2 star in my opinion.
We have ordered take out a few times, orders always right. Portions are good, everything seems fresh.
I’ve also been in and sat down a hand full of times, one of which we waited for over an hour before getting half of our food.the first half of us ate, had desert and were sitting waiting before the second half of us got our meal. They did give us a good discount on the late meals and free deserts.but still hard to enjoy dinner with friends when that’s the end result.

Odered takeout was told it was going to be 30 minutes. Waited that time when my order was picked up then the curbside person said there wasn't any seasoned rice available I thought this is why you have a number on your order so they can call if something isn't available until waiting until the order is picked up. Got loaded mashed potatoes instead to be sent plain mashed potatoes. My broccoli was great and if I knew I would have just got two orders of that instead. Grilled chicken wasn't good either steak was supposed to be medium ended up being well done and dry. Not a good takeout meal.

I eat out a lot with my as I travel a lot with my job. The service was absolutely the worst ever. There's no excuse for this.

Haven't been here in a while. Typical Friday (3/19) night for wait time. We arrived at 7: 45pm, wait was quoted 1-1.5hrs. You give hostess your name and then sit in car until they text you. Had I known, I'd stop there on our way to run errands first to get on the list and home back. They are SLOWLY adjusting to accommodating full capacity.
You could tell: food had a 30 min wait from the start because they were behind and had new cooks. Our cheese fries had a small sprinkle of cheese and bacon on one spot that had to be sent back for a better proportion. Alice Spring's Chicken was undercooked and remade, there was a hair in the dessert ice cream. Our waiter, however; was friendly and did a great job checking on us often and communicating. The manager was supposed to stop by due to the havoc of issues, but never did. I guess he was too busy or he forgot.

Waited over an hour for food after ordering, only to find one of our steaks to be rare when it was ordered well done. They took the steak back and burned it to a crisp.

Most of the time it's wonderful but they need to cook the lobster last so it comes hot with the steak.

Great Food, good quarantine protocol, but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for my wallet! I only ate there to use up a gift card! But, We Really LIKED IT!

Picked up doordash here, they stay busy so it takes a while but prices are good and food smelled amazing!

Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat while traveling back to Ohio service was excellent staff was friendly food was on point delicious as always them Aussie fries though yum

You can never go wrong with the Outback! One of the better quality chain "steakhouses". Service is always good as well!

Service was slow. We were there at 3pm and they weren't busy. I like my steak well done, it was almost burnt but good enough not to want to wait longer to have it redone. It has been a long time since we have been to Outback because we live so far away. It was my birthday and their cheesecake is always delicious.

The waitress was rude and aloof, the food was covered in pepper and extremely spicy, and the seats weren't very clean.

After an hour of no food, after getting another table's food, after 14 minutes for a server to first arrive at table.never again.

Very short staffed had long wait for drinks, more bread, sauces, and more. Waitor was fairly new and done the best he could while also being friendly. Our food all came out hot and perfect, will definitely return I just hope they have hired more staff!

As with most Southern WV restaurants, awful service. Additionally, steaks were very tough (for ribeyes cooked to medium rare, at least the first attempt). Appetizers and beer were good though. I'd find other options or wait for the Texas Roadhouse to be built/completed.

So here’s the full story about the Beckley Outback-amazing steaks, terrible service. Wait times are ridiculous and the last three times I ate there I should have just got my own refills. Service needs to be retrained.

My waiter was fantastic. The food was even better. Would definitely recommend for an evening of unwinding after traveling

Another chain just mediocre food and oh their draft beer was not working really, just no bar staff at lunch. The best 12.99 for a macdonalds quarter pounder want to be.
I could have walked another 50 ft and eaten at McDonalds for 1/3 the price.so sad outback used to be a great place.as usual growth brought arrogance and entitlement and food just became another job of the same

Not great food. My entire plate was under done from the steak to the veggies. My wife's plate was overdone ironically. The mushroom appetizer was burnt too. Service was very good though!

I went for dinner and usually its good food and service but my steak was over cooked to the point I coulent eat it so we asked to get one that was cooked cooked the way I asked, waitress escalated it to the manager her name was quoanita however you spell it. She was rude to us. I just paid and left because idk what her issue was but she shouldn't take it out on repeated customers who have never complain before and always pay as well as tip.
