We love the staff and doctors at this office but more times than not (at least in my experience) they are running behind and we have had to wait for over an hour for our appointment.

Book the first appointment in the morning, or the first appointment after lunch, or you may be waiting. Great staff, friendly, gentle, helpful. Def would recommend.

Very clear explanations and a good straight forward discussion of options and advantages and disadvantages of treatments. Excellent doctor in my opinion.

The Dr explained my condition to me in detail. He gave me options for treatment and explained any side affects of treatment. Mahalo

Dr. Gerald Carp at Aloha Eye Clinic is a skilled, experienced professional who takes the time to diagnose, educate and treat patients in a caring manner. I highly recommend Dr. Carp and I am very happy to have him as my eye doctor.

I just wish to thank Dr. Jeff for the eye drops he gave me to try for my itchy hay fever eyes. My tear ducts would get raw and it took a long time for the antihistamine to kick in and stop the itch. Last night I tried the drops and it worked immediately to stop the itch. Before my eyes got raw! Thanx so much. Aloha and mahalo nui.

I appreciate Dr. Guild's expertise and ability to explain what is happening and needs to happen in plain, everyday language. He is connected to the real world, and able to explain to me how I can avoid problems driving.

I asked for an eye doctor referral on NextDoor - both Opthomologist and Optometrist. 6 of the 10 people who responded to my query all indicated: Aloha Eye Clinic - and in particular, Dr. Carp.

Going to an eye doctor is not as daunting as the dentist ;) So I was looking forward to having a complete exam. My first full exam with dilation in 7 years. I was not so eager at prospects of hearing I may need eye glasses.

Upon arriving at the front desk, all of the staff - in particular, Scott - were very friendly and helpful.

My eye exams conducted by Scott and Dr Carp went with humorous ease - as both had good bed side manners.

Unfortunately, Dr Carp confirmed my suspicions: I need distance glasses for better clarity, if desired. Shoots.

Dr Carp was super cool: Professional, polite and PERSONABLE. And of course, has the expertise that I desire in a physician.

Overall, great casual, friendly and professional office.

Dr. Guild is awesome! Great care. Answered all my questions. Made me aware of new eyeglass options for my eyes.

I went for an annual apt.with Dr. Guild.
I liked his directness on explaining things and really felt he answered my questions honestly. Gave me some options to think about.

The office is welcoming, besides Dr. Guild. Each of my visits, he speaks to me with a condescending tone and I can overhear the same when he speaks to other patients. I usually wait at least 45 minutes in the room for him and when he shows up for a less than 10 minute eye exam, it feels like he would rather be somewhere else than genuinely care about any questions or concerns.

Had a great visit. Arrived early and taken quickly to exam and dilation. Doctor was pleasant and had read my file and new of existing issues. In and out under 40 minutes.

I have a very rare eye disease and was so impressed that Dr. Carp knew what it was. I go to the stein institute at ucla and dr. Carp office had almost all the equipment to test my eyes. Live in Michigan. I was in town on vacation.lost my glasses in the ocean.needed something to be able to see.they worked with me and gave me some sample contacts to get me through the week. Came through in a time of need!
