Mei Mei Chinese Style BBQ

I got a 叉雞飯 (barbecue pork + soy sauce chicken rice) and it was delicious. I grew up in Hong Kong and can confirm this place is legit. They have also have $6.5 lunch specials as well if you’re looking to save a few bucks. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving some authentic canto food.

Got the 3 choice plate: roasted duck, crispy pork and char siu. Delicious and cheap!

I got the $11 roast duck plate. I liked the flavor of the duck but I don't think it was worth the $11. The meat on the duck was also a little thin.

YUMMMM what a great find! $6 for lunch, can't beat this price and so tasty! Char siew, chicken and rice were soooo delicious, Chinatown is a dump but this spot is a GEM! They take credit card too!

Seriously delicious Chinese roast meats here! The shop is a bit difficult to find at first, but it is located in the Maunakea Marketplace (look for the door labeled 'food court'). You can buy meat such as roast duck, char siu, pork belly, and ginger chicken by the pound, or opt for the plate meals which comes with bok choy and rice for less than $10. The lunch meals are only $6 and come with a large portion of meat and rice!

Stumbled on Mei Mei while walking through the market it’s located in and got a roast duck and bbq pork plate and WOW some of the best bbq pork I’ve ever had. We loved it so much that we came back the next day before flying out of Honolulu. Definitely a gem!
