Los Tacos City Habanero reviews
19Delicious barbacoa/goat quesadilla but LONG wait (almost 30 min) during lunch rush so would only go back if short line
We like this convenient truck. We call and order ahead and then just pick up. Authentic food. Great flavor. Good portions. Has not disappointed us so far. Will continue to come here for lunch!
Everything was Amazing! My only complaint was that they didn't have a warm store front to eat/wait inside for your food because it was Freeeezing out! The staff/service, food/variety & pricing was Great! So yummy! I'd go out of my way again next time I'm in NYC for their food! Yum!
Delish tacos, got spicy pork and steak don’t recommend steak a little dry and no taste but spicy pork were delish!
Oh so good! And it is reliably there at that corner. My favorite is the Al Pastor Taco (or four)!
This is very disappointing, recently the food taste different even the service. Someone who loves getting the Tortás, this is what I received today. Dry beans, no mayo, no effort. Been eating from this place for about two years since moving into LIC and lately the food is dry, unflavored and I am convinced the staff has changed. You may love this place but just heads up that the food is not as good as before.
Mexican food with no flavor, will never try this place again. The food is not that great and very bland. They add excessive amounts of yellow American cheese to their food and it tastes like they cater to the people in the neighborhood which are not people who probably eat a lot of authentic Mexican food.
My go to order is the Al pastor burrito but something changed recently with how they make it. It doesn’t taste nearly as flavorful anymore and the burrito is more full of rice than anything. Makes me quite sad as there was a time I’d eat multiple Al pastor burritos from los tacos a week because it was my favorite take out item in the area.
Meat not spread evenly in quesadilla. Was otherwise hot and tasty. I wished the staff a nice day and they didn't reciprocate. Could smile more.
Extremely solid tacos. I've had other items from their menu and they leave a lot to be desired which I think has to do with the quality of their toppings.but the tacos are on point given the quality of the meat. Get the Al Pastor!
The tacos el pastor was delish. Can’t wait to come back. Might be some of the best tacos in NYC!
I used to think this was the best spot in the area. Think it's gone downhill in the last couple months, seems like either ownership or employees have changed. Significant decrease in quality and service
They are the worst, the men who work in the evening are rude. Both of them were yelling bad words in Spanish to women. Like really bad words. The fat man and the small one are extremely rude. I hope the owner take action and talks to them about their behavior because it’s unacceptable. They take forever to cook the orders.
We had barbacoa tacos and spicy chicken tostada. Tacos were dry, something was missing in the taste. The tostada is a complete disappointment, only meat and cabbage. More cabbage comes than meat, the meat was tasty but generally useless. To be honest expected a way better food. I am disappointed.
We stopped by chance while returning late on the way to our hotel.
Nice surprise this little food truck, we had a tacos and chips with guacamole, we had a great time
The price has become more expensive, the service was terrible, and the attitude was bad.
I waited 20 minutes because they changed shifts.
Birria tacos are super dry and don’t come with consomé. It’s on the menu but not clear you have to order separately, so didn’t realized until too late
Updating to 3 stars cause everyone else really liked their food - guac and burrito bowl were especially good
We love this spot, some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in NYC. My mom grew up in New Mexico so I have high standards and the quality here is top notch! One of my top recs in the neighborhood if you need a quick lunch or dinner.
