Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel

What a great weekend! The location was perfect as I was spending time on the Race Track. The staff and service was 5 star and the food was great. Oh and the view of the lake was spectacular. Highly recommend.

Just love everything about this hotel. The room is so comfortable. Complimentary coffee in the morning and iced tea, lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. Fire pits are wonderful. Food was excellent.

We love staying at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. - it's a wonderful hotel and the grounds are beautiful. We really like the outdoor patio dining and the fire pits. The hotel is in a great location. Our stay was very enjoyable.

Here are the details: When we arrived, our room was ready early - which was great! Appreciated the complimentary bottles of water on a hot day. Also liked the lemonade and iced tea plus delicious cookies in the lobby.

The guest room was very comfortable. Not sure about the weighted blanket though. We took that off as it felt too heavy. I like having a real closet, and I love the little sitting area to do my make up. The bathroom was fine - walk in shower, good lighting, and adequate counter space.

Staff were great - friendly yet professional.

We had dinner on the outside patio which was very enjoyable. The menu is a little limited but you can easily find something you will like. The caprese salad and calamari were delicious. We also enjoy sitting by the outdoor fire pits for our after dinner drinks before calling it a night.

We had a wonderful one night anniversary stay and highly recommend the hotel!

My only complaint is the tasteless shrimp scampi. Otherwise my stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend it. - everything was comfortable and lovely. - I ordered shrimp scampi. It was lukewarm, had no flavor, and the shrimp was very firm/overcooked.

I love this place. Spent a 3 day weekend here & had a fabulous time. I love full service hotels. I'm going back too. I think about it a lot. Right on the water. Great staff.

Not worth the Price! No service or hospitality. The rooms are nice but the hotel is not worth $500/$600 a night! Do not waste your money. We stayed 2 nights and we did not even get house keeping service the 2nd day. We had to Ask For Towels! No sincere apology from the front desk, only the explanation that there was a wedding that day. How is that my concern! They only took $50 off our total bill. Will not return

Kind of pricey but overall worth it. - I don't remember of the names because everyone staff member we came in contact was very helpful, professional and courteous. They made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Earlier check -in and prompt notification when room ready. Also front desk staff need more knowledge on surroundings, ie: specific wineries and destination help.

We have stayed before. The lobby had a beautiful fireplace and the restaurant decor is very nice. They had snacks and lemonade in the lobby also. - No you did everything perfectly. Thank you for that. It was worth every penny. Our family had a great memorable vacation. I posted lots of pics on Instagram. I'll tag the hotel. Also the other guest at the hotel were fun to chat with and friendly - The gentleman host at the restaurant with the big smile. I don't know his name. We stayed a week and he was their a lot. Brian the bartender. I hope I got his name right. I have no idea of the servers name she wasn't even our server. But she went out of her way to surprise me. I actually told her I loved her. It just came out cuz I was so surprised. Food and sweets make me happy, and so do great people and great service. I believe these wonderful people know who they are especially if they read this. So thank you very much guys. I hope we were pleasant guest to you all. We appreciate you guys so much and that goes for everyone at the hotel. Your truly the best. - When i was checking in. My credit card had a limit on it that I didn't know about. The front desk was very patient with me when I had to call the bank to fix the problem. Thankfully he was the one who told me that might be the problem, and it was. It must happen alot. - 2 sinks jacuzzi walk in shower. Huge! Beautiful. - Our AC broke in the middle of our stay. We called the desk at midnight. We were going to wait till morning but it was to hot to sleep. They called a guy to fix it right away, at midnight. We were so thankfull. The hotel was nice enough to give us a credit for the inconvenience, that we didn't even ask for. Very nice of them. Would definitely stay there again. Great hotel great staff great area. The room was clean and comfy. Good TV, we like the music channels. The house keeping was attentive when needed and always around. They also didn't bother us when we had the do not disturb sign out. We always had fresh towel and lots of them. - I didn't go to the gym so I'm not sure how that is. I'm sure it was up to par. - The gentleman at the restaurant. The Host that greeted us and sat us for breakfast and dinner. He also took care of my grab and go order. He was the nicest so professional and took good care of us. The bartender I think his name is Brian. He was so busy doing everything. Full bar and making drinks for the servers. He was amazing! He was singing to the music and the guest were sing also. He was happy and making conversations and making drinks for everyone even went he was so busy. He was fast and fun. We came back to see him again because of that. He should work every night. The Bartender and Host gentleman should get a raise. They really deserve it. They are a great asset to the hotel. The hotel is lucky to have them. - Professional and well dressed. Patient and attentive. - We had a AC guy fix our AC in the middle of the night. That service for you. He was fast and professional. - I left a comment above about the bartender and how amazing he was. He was by himself and he was so busy and still happy and Pleasant. He did a job of 2 people. I believe his name is Brian. The Host gentleman I don't know his name but he had a contagious smile that made you smile back. He always greeted me and said hello everytime I walk by. He always made sure I had the best seat in the restaurant or at least made me feel that way. - I order the Porterhouse steak med rare. It came out med well. That was the only bad thing. But it wasn't bad at all it was still yummy. I didn't complain. I'm not that kinda person. No big deal. They made up for it in many other ways. Like the fancy chocolate cover cherries you get after dinner. Omg my favorite thing. A nice server treated me to one the night before because I was curious. I was sitting at the bar and noticed the server carrying them. So I asked what they were. She told me, and then she seen me at the fire pit later on and she surprised me with one. She made my day. I have a big sweet tooth.

Finishing up another long weekend in FLX and another great stay at the Harbor Hotel. This has become our go to place when we visit and it never disappoints. Clean and tidy rooms, a solid bar and restaurant, and right at the south end of Seneca Lake makes it the perfect starting point for visiting any of the FLX attractions during the day. Plenty of free parking and located close to several other fun restaurants in the Watkins Glen area too. Not the most inexpensive place to stay, but prices are typical for the quality and what one would expect to stay in a resort area, peak season. I always look forward to the visit!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s cleanliness was top-tier, and the rooms were not only nice but also well-kept throughout our stay.

One delightful perk was the complimentary Starbucks coffee in the morning, which added a pleasant touch to our mornings. The on-site restaurant offered a solid dining experience, providing delicious meals during our stay.

The only minor drawback was with the lake view room we paid for; unfortunately, a tree partially blocked the view. However, I recommend requesting a room on a higher floor, ideally the 4th floor, to preserve an unobstructed view of the beautiful lake.

As far as pricing I recommend subbing to their email. They had a promo to get your second night half price. We called and they adjusted the price to match the promo. They also offer a AAA discount.

Overall, Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel left a positive impression on us, with excellent service, cleanliness, and comfortable rooms. The minor issue with the view aside, it was a great stay, and parking was not an issue. I would gladly return for another enjoyable visit.

AC unit made periodic loud noises. - forgot certain items in the room service order. The items were promptly brought upon request.

The hotel is gorgeous, clean, with spectacular views, the food is excellent, and the hotel staff is top notch. Anything you need and ask for is given with a smile.
I would like to recognize 3 individuals specifically.
1. Andrea, the manager of the restaurant.she is outstanding.hands on, in the restaurant helping, very accommodating, she truly cares about making sure that every customer feels special and that you enjoy every aspect of your meal and your experience in the restaurant.
2. Damon, a server.he has the best personality, friendly, knowledgeable, and a true asset to this restaurant.
3. Lauren.excellent server and waitress.
Lastly, the front desk and management truly made my birthday and anniversary very special. They even had a few surprises in our room upon arrival.
We will be back! This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at emily travel all the time.

The grounds were beautifully maintained & had such wonderful views of the lake & Marina. - I don’t remember his name but there was a young man at the outside patio, that wiped down the tables and chairs so we can sit for breakfast after it rained. - Staff was so kind & welcoming - Great shower & bath amenities - Beautiful, clean & comfortable - Very welcoming & kind - Sat outside for breakfast enjoying the beautiful view. Wait staff was so nice & greeted us promptly

We will be back. - Extremely friendly and able to upgrade our room. Thank you so much for making our trip extra special (we rarely treat ourselves) - What a treat with the amazing bathroom. - Beautiful room and sparkling clean. - Everyone was extremely friendly with plenty of smiles.

Rooms were very nice. Clean and we'll maintained. I always judge a hotel by the quality of workmanship of the bathroom. 5*. Great location. All hotel workers were friendly and helpful.
