Either/Or

This is my favorite coffee shop in Portland. Not only are the drinks amazing, but the food is delicious and the overall atmosphere is positive and happiness-inducing. The baristas are so friendly and amazing at what they do.

Highly recommend going on a sunny day when they have a live DJ. The salty Russian and the eggs and witch are my new morning staples.

I always feel like the main character when I’m here Coffee is outstanding, if you’re looking for something light and don’t mind sweet, try the coffee soda.

Service was great. Location, cute and easy to park. The latte and eggs ray spex were both super tasty. I was blown away by that sandwich. Drooling for another one already. Who knew a breakfast sandwich could be so good? Wow. I need another eggs ray spex in my life Asap!

Nice vibe combination coffee shop and bar. Food was fine, didn't wow me to be honest. Appreciate the vegan options. But who goes to a coffee shop / bar for the food I guess?

The eggsray specs sandwich is tremendous! Excellent flavor, filling, extremely tasty fried egg and sausage patty, just perfect. I also tried the pork belly breakfast burrito which was totally fine but I thought was a little lacking in flavor. For something with pork belly, kimchi, pickled jalapeno, onion, and salsa verde, I mostly just tasted the rice and black beans. Not a huge deal though, I'll absolutely be back for the breakfast sandwiches.

The employee I spoke with when I walked in and asked for my to go order it was immediately assumed I was at the wrong business. I was told they didn’t have my order. Once I showed confirmation they reviewed their ordering system and I ended up waiting 30 minutes for my food. Not cool. Food was OK.

The breakfast burrito with added pork belly was one of the greatest breakfast burrito experiences in my memory. I highly recommend it. The texture of the crispy pork belly is a great contrast to the eggs and beans and everything is seasoned well.

What a vibe! Loved this cafe. Food was amazingly amazing. I had a lavender fog and the egg & witch with bacon. We will definitely come back to try other food and beverage options.

Great breakfast burrito, especially with their tomatillo salsa. Good place to get a coffee or a drink.

Two stars because the breakfast sandwich was good, otherwise it would have been less. They didn’t send me my coffee, which I really needed more than the food. Basically ruined my morning.

Can't recommend this place enough. The vibes are great, the staff is friendly, and best of all their food and drink is very tasty. I am a meat eater, but I get the veggie sausage there anytime I order a Maple Bolo because it's just so delicious, unreal flavor! Coffee sodas are also on point!

Been here twice so far on my trip and both breakfast meals were fantastic. Definitely get the Eggs-ray-specs if you can (sausage and cheese) the breakfast burrito was great as well. We went on Sunday and it had a live DJ with vinyl, got the coffee soda which was refreshing but fairly sweet. Staff was very friendly and at the time of writing this asked for masks and vaccine, which was fine with us.

Chill place to come for cocktails in the evening. We ended up here as we wanted to have a cocktail before heading back to the westside. The staff was pretty friendly and also quick to get our drinks and a snack out. The old fashioned was decent and prices were reasonable. It's nice that they have windows all open with great airflow.

A fascinating concept with a super intriguing menu. Great for stopping in as you wander around the NE Portland area. Wi-fi is available but no plugs so not great for working on a laptop while drinking coffee.

Some of the best vibes I've ever found. Exactly what I want in a bar almost any night of the week. Nails the fine line of a classy feel while still being casual and low key.

DJ playing vinyls with a theme inspired by a Tribe Called Quest really set the mood.

Not many places have good decaf espresso but the americano I had was phenomenal. I could have sat and sipped two more cups if I had the time!

Had the best spring morning coffee and breakfast. DJ was playing great tunes, wonderful staff, perfect latte!

Still requiring masks, vaccine proof, and ID to verify your vaccine card (I had all on me including wearing a mask). Voting with my dollar and review, left without buying anything and leaving 1 start to voice my dissatisfaction.
