Showed up for my appointment on time, but was seen 45 minutes later. However, their customer service was outstanding. They listened to my needs and asked follow-up questions to ensure I got what I needed.

Went to the this location because the other location in Mesa just was VERY unprofessional! It’s been TWO weeks never got a call saying my contacts were in I called & lo and behold my contacts just there so I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t call ‍️ I need my contacts to see the thats the WHOLE reason I went in right? I won’t be doing business with them again like get it together!

Once again, disappointed! The service is horrible, the staff is rude and uncaring. They forgot my daughter after the follow up for contacts appointment was over to give her the contacts, for almost an hour! When I asked for a paper copy of the prescription for glasses, they failed to complete before my appointment ended and made us come back to accommodate the doctors lunch because she refused to come back and finish the job before her lunch break. When I asked about getting it upon return visit, the doctor snapped at me that she would get it to me that day as if my request was rude to have even asked. Im so angry that I don't even want to go back to pick up the glasses I ordered for myself, too bad I already the near $500. This will be my last time with this company as I have had a few dissatisfactions with quality of frames and the staff over the past few years. Very disappointed!

The staff at this location is Awesome! The only downside is that you don't get the 2 pair eyeglass special if you get a contact lens exam Either way, I'd definitely return to this location!

After visiting this location on vacation when I ripped my last contact and tried to get an appointment to be able to see and enjoy my vacation I can see why they only have 2.8 stars. I explained the lady I lived in IL and would be here until Monday and it’s not safe for me to drive or anything when my vision is this bad she nodded her head at me like I could even see her. Didn’t even bother to look if there was a cancellation where she could get me in given that I have to go another 3 days until my flight home without seeing. Worst Americans Best ever! Thanks for nothing, VisionWorks can have my money from now on.

I am an optician at another office. I called to get a prescription for glasses and was met with animosity and rudeness from one of the ladies there. I never got her named but I spoke to a guy first. We never recieved the prescription and the patient has been waiting for it for 30 min now. They hung up on me when I asked them to try to re-fax. Really rude service.

One star is too high a rating this place is Slow and the man who examined my eyes seemed not to care at all about any of my concerns regarding my vision. Would Not recommend to my worst enemy

I usually don’t like to leave mean reviews but this store has terrible customer service. I try to order contacts ever couple of months and it is such a hassle. They either leave me on the phone and forget about me or say they will call me back but never do!

Dr. Gorman was very pleasant and thorough. Jeff was very helpful explaining insurance and was very friendly. The whole appointment took an hour, but that's about what I expected. I will update when I receive the glasses.

Restrooms were dirty! Paper towels all over the floor, sink and toilet were dirty, and i went shortly after opening. Dr was very friendly and helpful. The lady i paid with was snarky and rude. I ended up getting my prescription and went somewhere else to get glasses. Will not be back.

Receptionist was very rude. I asked her a simple question. And the way she reponded to me made me leave with my family. 5 new patients. I'll take my business and my health care insurance elsewhere.

Corporate reached out to me here, and asked me to email them.to make it right.and it's been a week and they haven't responded to my email.they just tried to make themselves look compassionate online.

My daughters glasses were supposed to be ready last week, I called Saturday to ask if they were ready the first person I talked to said she would call me back as soon as she checked, waited 4 hrs and did not get a call, I called back the second person I talked said she would call back as soon as she was done with her patient, wanted 3 hrs and nothing, called again they said the same thing and did not get a call back, I called today the person I talked to said she would check put me on hold for about 30 seconds came back and said the name sounds familiar but I don’t see them in the drawer I will check the shipment we just received and I will call you right back, 9: 30 pm and did not get a call back, it’s not that hard to just call back to let me know you are still looking for them or that they are not ready! Very disappointed

Uncomfortable in general. Walking in, receptionist wasn't very friendly. Long wait in between exam and check out. Doctor was fine. Pre test with Gary was cool. Facility was clean.

I had an amazing experience at this particular one! I'm from canada and had told them that I was only here for 12 days. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nicole, she is amazing by the way! She told me right off the bat that their glasses usually take 2 weeks to come in but she would try her hardest to get them here before I left (which was the first flight on a Monday). One of the pairs I got were ready on the Saturday, so I was happy with taking at least one pair home, my mom would bring the other back when they came home. But to my suprise we got a call Sunday morning from Nicole herself saying that if I could be there by noon she would be able to give me my other pair before I left to come home! If you guys dont know, they aren't open to the public on Sundays but she took the time and effort to make sure I could come home with both pair I had bought! What an amazing person! I would recommend going to see her, she went above and beond what she needed to and I thank her from the bottom of my heart! I will be back next year to get some sunglasses like we discussed!

I, too, am confused with all the negative review's. My only complaint was the drive to and from as well as having to deal with cotton top traffic. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast as well as efficient for my needs.

I’ve been with America’s Best for over 15 years. Started out great with the PV location moved to Mesa Power Rd location and it’s been a terrible experience. It’s like night and day service. The first 6 months they could never find my chart when I would call. They lost my records and to recreate a new one. They lost my prescription weeks after I just been there for an exam they claim they didn’t have an updated eye exam that was because it lost stuck in my “old” file. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt have stuck it out 2 years but nothing ever changes. Staff is always rude and rushes to get you out of there office or off the phone if you call. It’s very obvious the team doesn’t work together no one Ever seems to know what’s going on in the office. Always new people every time I go in.
