Arizona Motor Vehicle Department reviews
37I went to do the driving test, and the old lady that was doing the test was very rude and hit my steering wheel twice, she was very very rude, and racist, very bad service.
The Casa Grande MV office needs to have personnel man their “Information” counter so people coming into the building with a question or two do not have to “get a number” and wait in order to get answers to usually basic MV-related questions.
This is one of the worst DMV's they are mindless drones that have no common sense. I think they enjoy making people angry, turning them away and shows no empathy. They should be ashamed of themselves. I FOR ONE WILL FIND ANOTHER DMV.
Having good quality Customer service is a must for me. I didn't appreciate the front desk lady being rude towards me when I was asking questions about a military exception form. I did not like her tone nor her service at all! The chandler MVD was willing to help me with the same forms I had presented at the casa grande office. They didn't give me any problems or attitude. So I don't see why the casa Grande office couldn't help me.
Haven't gone to CasaGrande office in a while. Just drove to Coolidge to avoid the negativity at CasaGrande office. What a difference! Smiling professional workers. Took care of my business in no time and so pleasant to talk to. They have definitely had a change in attitude. No longer have to drive to Coolidge to take care of business when we have pleasant people here. Finally.
The worst DMV. First you go to one line to give you a number and letter to another line. Ignore letter and number for the second line. The line moves at the speed of one person served every 20 minutes. There were 20 people in the line ahead of me. May be they should give appointments.
Not sure what most peoples negative ratings are all about. Very pleasant folks (mostly women thankfully) who got me in and out in less than 10 minutes. Must be most bad reviews are from repugnant drivers with bad driving records who should be handled in such a fashion so they don't get violations in the future? You know, kinda like a scared straight program for problem children. Very nice building with plenty of parking. 6 stars is my rating.
So I went into the MVD on Tuesday, December 19, thinking the place was closed or the computers were down, because the parking lot was empty. Before the end of the year, I had to re-register my car and get new tags. Few folks in line, and I went directly to a helpful staff, Lovely Laura. Less then ten minutes from stepping into the place, with cheerful banter and small talk, I was done. Great, right? Exactly! Then I called my buddy Gilberto, a cowboy there in Casa Grande, to come in while the place was quiet, and he came down. Never having gotten a DL, Gilberto was guided each step of the way, by Lovely Michelle, and told he could take a test again - three times- if he failed. All of this friendly helpfulness is so different from my bad experiences in LA. I've been back here MANY times and ALWAYS gotten quality service.
Talk about unprofessional clowns! Insults about these people would be compliments. Logic? NONE - Intelligence? NONE You're better off dealing with baboons! NEXT VISIT - So, I've owned 2-3 motorcycles at a time for 28 years. I decide to go back to " clownville " to get the Arizona Motorcycle Driver's manual. I stand in line, about 15 people back, and finally get to the counter. Please realize, I've put the deposit on my new bike, show my parents the pictures, and we then head to MVD. I ask the girl (I'm being polite) for the motorcycle license manual and she hands me a booklet. Having had nothing but trouble, every time I've been there, I get outside and read the booklet she'd handed me. It was a car manual. So, back in I go. I ask politely to swap car for motorcycle. The person behind the counter insults me in stating that she'd have given me one had I asked for one to begin with. I almost asked her to pop that ugly pimple. You know, the one that holds her ears apart! Unnecessary rudeness is so sad to see. I called another MVD number I found on the internet. The guy answering tells me all he hears about that place is complaints. Wow!
I brought my son to take the driving test here, and wish I hadn’t wasted our time. The lady who did our paperwork sat there and laughed and laughed to herself for awhile before I finally asked her if there was a problem with the form I handed her. Apparently, I screwed up and filled out the back portion ahead of time, which is supposed to be done in front of her so she can witness it. Instead of sitting there laughing about it, she could’ve just explained to me what was wrong with instead of wasting time trying to making me feel like an idiot. After all that fun, came the driving test. She had him three point park, but because one of his tires was right on the line she immediately failed him. No second chances (and it is supposed to be ok if the tire is on the line anyway). After reading that some kids got up to three chances, it makes the whole experience that much more irritating. We had to drive an hour each way getting there and back, because there is no other option besides Apache Junction to take the test in the County. We will definitely just pay the extra and go to Power Tags and Titles. Whoever oversees the dmv’s in Pinal County seriously needs to come in and look into the Casa Grande location and do customer service training, and find out why the rules of the driving test seems to be different for some kids than others.
I have never been in contact with such rude people simply the way they speak to you is inappropriate!
Worse place ever, went yesterday and not even 10 minutes being there there systems shut down, plus lady was very rude assisted people to fill there form and she’ll hold on to them if they want to come later or the next coming day, I went up there wanting to do that because I had work and she would not take it and told me if I wanted to complain take it to service number. I go today and the line is ridiculous.honestly worst customer service, times to wait never improves, rather drive somewhere elsewhere this place is not worth it.
Wait time was great (looked at the wait time online). Information desk was quick and friendly. Rep who processed my paperwork was friendly and quick.
The wait time is reasonable, staff are friendly. I have to laugh at everyone complaining.do you think Phoenix would be better?
We got here at 1: 45 for a 2pm appointment. We waited until 2: 45 because the ONE employee that does the road test was "on break". We take the time to make an appointment and then have to wait 1hr so this "person" can go on her break!? NOT acceptable.
Just like the lines at Wal-Mart. Ten employees standing and three working helping customers. Now they make you wait in a line. All seats are taken away and the service time had not improved at all.
Can't answer my call because I'm in a different county? There is no DMV in Maricopa! Does not reflect on workers, but I'd really like to be able to call and schedule my road test.
