Aunt Chiladas Squaw Peak reviews
35Very nice place, I went there for a memorial service that was hosted there and it was a good choice to host it there.
The food and atmosphere here is amazing.
Angel is a great server and we will definitely be back.
The new male bartender rocks, as well as the female bartender. My food was DELISH, as always. Excited to learn that LIVE music resumes this Friday night.
This was my first time visiting an Aunt Chilada's but it won't be the last. Reasonable prices, great food, lovely atmosphere. Wonderful service.
The salsa, chicken enchiladas and beef tacos had no flavor. I'm not sure who puts black olives in salsa. We would definitely not be going back.
I had the shrimp lettuce wraps and they were amazing! It was sooo good. The homemade chips-delicious! The guacamole- delicious! The wait staff was fantastic! Great experience all the way around.
The food service was really slow. Took 30 minutes just to get chips and salsa. Our server was great with drink and other things though. When the food did eventually arrive, ill admit it was amazing! The best Mexican I've ever had!
My husband and I came here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The service was good and the restaurant is charming but the food is just ok. I didn’t want to judge based off some of the reviews I read prior to our dinner but must agree with some of the patrons that the food is not very good. It didn’t taste fresh at all, almost as if it was reheated. I don’t want to sound mean, i think some honest critiquing might help management make some positive changes in the kitchen and serve fresh authentic food to avoid losing customers.
Good food, didn’t try the drink. Fast service until it’s time to pay. Takes them a while to get you the check. Overall I recommend it.
Buyer beware. On Cinco de Mayo customers are required to pay a $15 per person cover. My disappointment is that you are required to pay this even if you just want to eat at the restaurant. An extra $30 for a party if two before you even order? No thank you. I'll take my business elsewhere.
Definitely a place to try
the food was real Mexican food
service was excellent
I encourage you to try the pineapple shrimp boat
I'd say it was just ok. I did really enjoy my cheese enchiladas. They have good free chips and salsa (it's pretty chunky and cold, just FYI for preferences). My only issus was the service was below average. We had to wait quite a while between visits, granted we we're seated next to a large group. My friend never had her drink refilled the entire time. Also, I've never ever experienced noodles in place of rice with the beans on my combination plate. Super surprised but they weren't bad. Overall, I probably would try somewhere new before returning.
We loved the food! Best Spinach enchilda I've ever had. Good Margaritas. Faded Jeans Band was great. Atmosphere was fun!
I had the green chile burrito on evening of labor day. I thought it was really good. I lived in New Mexico years ago and it was nice to have real mexican food again, especially green chile. Price was very reasonable.
Our server Angel was awesome, even returned my daughter's purse we left behind before we left.
Place is cool and large. I liked the chorizo queso dip and the flour tortilla chips. Dinner was ehhh.
I now know how true Mexican food should taste and be served. Food and staff could not have been any better. Amazing place.
The chips and salsa are great, but the main course was just ok. I've had more flavorful food at other restaurants in town.
Our waiter seemed annoyed that we weren’t regulars and we had questions about the menu. He made our visit very uncomfortable and we will not return to this location.
I only rated it two stars because the setup is very appealing at night. Even picture worthy. The staff are bland, nothing to rave about. They are not very informed about the food. They appear easily overwhelmed. The food is tolerable. I tried about 4 different entrees and they all tasted similar to one another. The restaurant appeared clean. For the price, probably would not return
