Aunt Chiladas Squaw Peak reviews
35Amazing food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. Perfect for a casual dinner, romantic date, or family meal.
Delicious food. Lots of different types of enchiladas, burritos and tacos. We had the fish tacos with beans and fideo and the quesadilla sampler. It was all delicious and freshly made. The vegetable quesadilla was a little weird but everything else was great. Classic house margaritas served in margarita glasses. Beautiful ambiance and location. It was too hot to sit outside when we went but that gives us another reason to go back in cooler weather.
There food is good but our waitress was never checking us.: (. Both time I've been there I went for something they advertised on a website & both times they no longer were offering it. That was really frustrating. So I would just ck b4 going if it's on there website. Seems to me after the 1st time that I made them aware that the website still says you offer this activity & I got there abd they DON'T, should have PROMPTED THEM TO UPDATE THE WEBSITE, but they didn't: (.
Aunt Chiladas is a family owned restaurant and they've created a hidden little Gem! If you've never been. Go! They have a great menu to choose from, but Chingalingas are my favorite! The salsa and flour tortilla chips are amazing! Don't worry they have corn tortilla chips too. SALUD
This has been a great Mexican food restaurant for decades! One of the only ones that serves both corn and flour chips (the flour chips are awesome). Good salsa and good hot sauce. Plenty of room inside, big outdoor area with some games, and a bar that is very popular at happy hour. Service and prices are good. Furniture inside is in need of a refresh though. It looks good and authentic, but some of the chairs and benches are really uncomfortable. They also have good meeting and banquet spaces.
Loved it! Be going here for years. The flour chips are to die for, the beans are a touch smoky so it makes the flavor deep these compliment the rice so well! The complimentary chocolate fountain with fresh fruits and other delights is icing on the cake for this festive place. Love it here at the outdoor patio when the weather is just perfect. I see more tasty margaritas in my future! Cheers
Went down hill after 20 years of going here. Patio still nice to sit will go back drinks and appetizers
This place is still amazing! No wonder why it’s been around forever, it never seems to disappoint. The wife and I shared tacos and our other guests shared enchiladas and tacos. All amazing! Two different chips (corn and flour) and two different salsas (salsa and hot sauce) which were perfect. I recommend on getting the flour chips! Draft beer was cold and tasty and the margaritas had the perfect amount of tequila. You gotta go!
Last year was a little better. This year has chicken fajita burrito. Just fajita spices, no actual peppers or onions. And it was very dry. Chips were good, and the atmosphere is always nice with good servers.
Great food, great service. Only go here once every few years but its always good. Chairs do suck.
Overall good experience. Tortilla soup was tasty, but odd with potatoes. Enchiladas were tasty. Skip the fideo, mushy and tasteless.
Great place, great atmosphere. Had nice outdoor seating and bar area which is great when weather is accommodating.
This is not a place for older people with canes or walkers - Very uneven exterior walkways. Food was not as good as I remembered it. My companions did enjoy their food. My husband and I did not.
Food was not good, atmosphere none. Too commercialized, might have been great at one point, not now
Another neighborhood favorite. Though some deride the "Mexican food" I would recommend the chips as some of the best around. Always quick and courteous service with tasty food that fits all sizes and tastes. Guests from out of state who aren't sure about Mexican food? Take them here for a sure and Happy meal.
