BUYER BEWARE! So I finally was able to get a new dryer from my home warranty company (that was an ordeal in and of itself!) Then the two "technicians". Or whatever you want to call them.came out to "install" my dryer. First of all, when they moved the dryer out of the way, there was some old lint. They basically kicked it out of the way. (I came behind them with a broom.), but had I not, they were going to install it with lint everywhere! After the installation, they took off. Not even two minutes from the time they left, I tried the dryer, and it wobbled. The installation instructions clearly state the dryer must be secure on all four corners. So, I called the company back and the guy that answered the phone said, "He can't come back, he's already on the freeway to the next job. " (Which was, indeed, a lie. No one can get on the freeway in two minutes from my house.) He then told me he would call me back in an hour. (He never did.) I called the company this morning and was routed to two different people. The second person was clueless and gave me a phone number but said, "They are closed today. " Then, she gave me a number to GE's customer relations department - but that's not about installation! I called my home warranty company and told them the issue, but they, alas, gave me another number to call on Monday. Bottom line, the installation from Barlow's was a joke. It was shoddy, the installers were unprofessional, and the company's customer service is abysmal. Whatever happened to pride in workmanship? Or taking care of the customer? Or being truthful? My advice is this. DO NOT use this company. I'm gritting my teeth until my dryer installation is corrected.

Terrible customer service! Very unprofessional! We were told we would receive a credit for a damaged refrigerator we received. Never received a credit. Attempted to contact them regarding the credit; we were told they do not provide credits. They provided incorrect information.

Miscommunication with Home Depot. They dropped the ball big time.
Barlows stepped up.
If you buy an appliance from Home Depot, get the down low regarding delivery and set up.

I have to agree with the other reviews this company should not be in business. No professionalism, no courtesy, they do not return their calls, are NO SHOWS, don't call to cancel, schedule or reschedule, rude employees. Just trying to get my refrigerator delivered but after 6 unsuccessful attempts 6 wasted Tuesdays of my time, no courtesy call to cancel or to reschedule. Barlow's only delivers on Tuesdays to my area they arrive and it's we can't move your old refrigerator and leave, next appt.they put my refrigerator on the wrong truck and didn't bother to call me to cancel as I sit at home waiting, next Tues appt I call again to verifiy they are still coming out and their answer was oh no due to weather we won't be out that way we'll call you and reschedule, they didn't call or reschedule and show up on a Friday when they only deliver on Tuesdays to my area and say unsuccessful delivery because no one is home. Of course no ones home we didn't have an appt. Another Tuesday appt NO SHOW, Then I call and schedule yet another appt for yet another Tuesday and I call to confirm they are still coming out and they tell me we don't even have you on schedule our manager Mandy will call you back in a few minutes, an hour later no call, 3 hours later no return call I call Barlows Manager Mandy is busy I told her I don't expect a call back from Manager Mandy as she didn't call me back the 1st or the 2nd time why should I believe that she will call me back a 3rd time. Clearly there is no one at your company that does what they say they are going to do. This isn't brain surgery you schedule an appt, load up the product, deliver the product. Doesn't matter how high up in management you go rest assured this company does not have any competent employees at any level.

Buyer beware- do NOT buy appliances at Home Depot.they are installed by this horrible company. They assume no responsibility or accountability for the customer experience. They installed our washer uneven and tried blaming our floor (see picture). The driver was rude to my neighbor and when I inquired about the unevenness the other employee was useless. After they left, we’d so covered the washer had no running water. We’re returning our appliances and would not recommend buying appliances for rom Home Depot or using this company.

Truly terrible service.
They brought the wrong size hose to hook up our new stove. Then instead of fixing their mistake, they made up a story about saying how it the right size hose is against code. Straight up lie. Size hose they brought straight up would not have fit, ever.
Avoid avoid avoid.
They just left us to do the install ourselves

Fast Service and Delivery with no problems at all. I was expecting a serious mess on my floors as it had rained for several days but they managed to get them in and set up with almost no mess. Will recommend them and use them again.

Terrible company, terrible service. Twice we had washer and dryer brought over and the installation kids didn't want to do their job. Excuse after excuse. I ended up telling them to leave it and I would install it myself.

They don't install things correctly and then won't correct it once discovered. Furthermore they've taken off with the part (s) you need to make it right.

I am still waiting to hear back regarding the 3rd delivery attempt. The first time the two guys that showed up didn't know how to turn off the water or gas to my house, told me to call a plumber. We were able to shut the water off, might be because the guy trying to shut it off didn't even know which way to turn the knob for off. I don't want people who do not know how to shut off a valve hooking up a gas appliance so I was relieved when they left. 2nd delivery, new guy, seemed he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the first delivery guys broke the washing machine which I am not sure why the box was even open. The delivery guy encouraged me to keep the dryer until they receive the new washer because he was afraid it would get broken again, apparently it happens a lot. So now despite leaving a message for a manager and assistant manager at Barlow's I am not sure when my 3rd delivery is scheduled. Since they have a 4 hour window each time they "try" to deliver requires that someone be home meaning missed work. Since they are contracted from the manufacturer and not from Home Depot directly I will be sending their contractor a nice letter to let them know how awful my experience has been with them. Meanwhile I have a dryer sitting in front of my fireplace. Absolutely the worst delivery experience I have ever had. Terrible.

This is not a reliable company to deal with. They work with Home Depot and they claim delivery in on day, but Barlow put us of a week.

My review is two-fold. The bad is short. With respect to scheduling & trying to speak with a human — let alone one that’s pleasant — 1, which is generous. The delivery guys get a fat 5. They came to deliver/install/remove a gas stove & dishwasher. They encountered everything from stuck valves, to openings that were too small, to difficulty removing old appliances. They went above & beyond and helped cut countertops and cabinets with me because I was heading out of town & couldn’t reschedule. They were hard working and respectful. But their office customer service sucks.

If I could give negative stars I would! They delivered a refrigerator and the water did not work (hopefully not their fault). I called and let them know so we made a appointment for the repair man to come out. The repairman called and said he couldn't find the house so I texted him the address. After a hour I texted him back but to no avail. So I called Barlow's and was told he showed up but no one answered the door. So he left. We are in the middle of a remodel and the front door is wide open. I asked numerous times what did the front door of the house look like that he knocked on and was just told he was there and no one answered. Hopefully no one else has to deal with them!?

I often wonder when I see negative reviews how much that has to do with the person and not the company. I had no problems with the delivery and installation of my new washing machine today that I bought thru Costco. They were prompt, efficient, kind and fast. I was told they would be here between 9 and 1 and they were here at 9: 15 am. Couldn't be happier.

Bought a dishwasher on 1/17 from Home Depot. We purchased it with installation, removal and all the required parts. As of today 2/25, and after 4 attempts by Barlows to install, 3 with bringing the WRONG part each time, we still don't have it installed. In contacting Barlow's customer service, their representative Diana, blatantly lied to us that they came and returned (we have a Ring doorbell that tells otherwise) and Diana continued to be nothing but rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. If we could put "0" stars we would. Ask Home Depot who is going to install your appliance and decline if it's Barlows.

This is by far the worst delivery company to have to deal with. Spoke with two different people with this company and neither were helpful at all. From talking to them and reading these reviews they certainly do not value a reputation or how they conduct business or they would make changes to how they talk to and treat customers. I have been a long time customer of Home Depot but will definitely rethink buying anything from them that has to be delivered so I don't have to deal with Barlow's again!

I purchased a complete kitchen appliance package and it was due to be delivered in a window from 3-7pm. As the time was nearing, I cleared out my refrig and freezer. Hours went by, I called at 6: 30 only to get a recording that they were delayed but still coming. At 7: 30 I get a call that they have two more jobs, and could tell he wanted me to cancel. I told him I have food thawing as I have sat here waiting. He gives me some BS story about a problem with the truck, costing them 4 hours in the morning to which I said, "And you're just now calling about that"? He then says, he's not coming, call the dispatcher. I end up calling some guy who is clearly on a CYA BS story saying he called everyone in the morning. They don't seem to realize that cellphones can see even missed calls, to which there were none. Awful experience. I don't even know when i'm getting my appliances now. Home Depot needs to stop using these people because they reflect very poorly on Home Depot. The company and the people working there are unprofessional.

Avoid at all costs. Been without a washing machine for two weeks now because they keep canceling the delivery. I really hope people see these reviews before accidentally picking this company and get screwed over like my family did.
