Big O Tires, Tempe AZ

Every time I was in here getting an alignment (bought the year plan) they would try to get me to buy new tires. Will not be buying another year.

I have had a bad experience with other locations in the past and was hesitant about coming to this location. However, when I called, Jacob was very friendly and helped me find the best deal available. When I walked in, everyone else had wonderful customer service and they all were very helpful as well. I live closer to other locations but I will drive to this location in the future.

These people lie to sell you tires and break things that were not broken prior to Big O tires working on your car. My husband and I stopped by because my right rear tire was setting of my tire sensor. After 2 hours we were told my tire had a nail in it and was in an area and they were unable to repair my tire. My husband declined to buy a new tire and decided he would try and repair it himself. Then our problems began.there was no nail in my tire for starters and then my husband discovered they broke 2 of the 5 bolts on the wheel. There was nothing wrong with the bolts when we brought the car in. Now we will be paying to repair the bolts. Needles to say we will be taking our business elsewhere. I really wish I could review with a zero.

Mike was a huge help super nice and informative. He took care of me most of the time. He even showed me pictures of other issues on my vehicle. I Came in on an emergency oil change and was out within an hour. While I waited I enjoyed refreshments & even got a chance to speak to the manager Terrance who was super kind and helpful with any questions I had. Will be coming back for my air filter change & any other issues. The customer service rocks from these guys!

While the staff was kind to me, the 2 hour quoted time turned into a long 5 hour wait.when i asked what took so long they said they had parked another car behind mine and started working on it before removing mine from the garage which added about an hour to the wait.without that it was still two hours longer than quoted.needless to say I'm not happy.

They were awesome! Very busy, squeezed my VW Golf’s flat tire in. Repaired it while I ate breakfast next door. They put the spare away. It was great and the guys there were awesome.

I have a car that suddenly developed a pretty severe oil leak and brought it in to this Big O location to have it diagnosed. I was contacted by Terrance who said the issue was the rack and pinion steering system. I was surprised to hear this because what I saw in my driveway was motor oil not power steering fluid. I actually asked if they were lookin at the right car. Terrance said he would have the shop take a second look.
Received a call back and again was told the issue was the rack and pinion. I was skeptical but I needed the car fixed so I went ahead with the repair, 1127 dollars.
Got the car home and discovered the oil leak was not resolved. Literally drops of oil following the car as it backed out the driveway.
Took the car back to the shop and received call within a few hours letting me know that they had identified the problem, a loose hose on the oil cooler. Simple fix, no parts required.
At this point I called them out for making what I believed to be an unnecessary fix. Big O immediately went into CYA mode and said that the rack and pinion repair was warranted. The leak was directly above the steering system, it had to be covered with motor oil. I don't know how you would even determine what was oil and what was power steering fluid if it actually was leaking.
Bottom line, the incompetence of this shop cost me over a thousand dollars. If not that, the alternative is even worse. A shop that targets customers for unnecessary repairs.
Either way, I will definitely not be going back.

Mike has helped us many of times and has always been professional and kind. Easy to talk to you and funny. This last visit we actually purchased four tires for my husband's Durango as well as an oil change and filters and an engine flush and on my vehicle our Dodge Journey an oil change and four flushes and filters and windshield wipers. We knew this would take some time and we were prepared for that Mike was very good at keeping us up-to-date on everything and we did have an issue with the filters coming in incorrectly but Mike let us know right away what was going on and granted us with two free oil changes for future use and was very apologetic. We have been coming to this location for 4 years now and I will continue to come here. We actually live closer to another location but I will still drive the distance to come here. Mike and Terrence have always been amazing to my husband and I!

Avoid like the plague, they refused to rotate my tires and never told me. Service ticket has a billed amount for tire rotation, called back and they started back peddling

They don’t schedule appointments on the weekend. They don’t come across very customer friendly. I’ve gone to them three times. One issue I went to them with and they “fixed” I still have problems with. I have found a different Big O Tire to go to that I already like better.

Oil change. I drive a ford, brought a picture of a filter that needed to be changed from a mazda. Not honest people and were probably trained that way. Find a better place.
