Currently 5mo into my lease and I won’t be renewing. I don’t nag, and I am very understanding when it comes to issues, but the amount of issues my husband and I have encountered is just too much for us. The ladies up front & maintenance are always amazing about everything, however it just doesn’t compensate for everything we have had to deal with.
First week I moved in, they were paining the halls and I was not notified. There was little ventilation and I was pregnant at the time. No biggy, i just stayed inside. First 2 months living here we had (have again) a major mosquito problem. “OFF” was the only thing that got rid of them. We would wake up with multiple big bits. Fire Alarms get pulled at 2.3.4.am in the morning as a joke. You don’t get to control AC/heat. They turn it one during certain times of the year. Our units AC was clogged and leaked all over many picture frames; ruining them. Laundry is stolen right from the washers and dryers. (I have never had this happen to me but a few friends who live here have). I did have an incident where the dryer my clothes were in, was opened and someone left my wet clothes on the dirty ground. To add, the machines are filthy and It is a 1.50 per load. People walk through the halls smoking cigarettes&pot. Wouldn’t care but Again. I was pregnant and now have a 3 week old baby. The water seems to always be cold. There are So many work days My husband and I didn’t get a shower. There was once a time where the power went out and I was half way through curlyjng my hair. Cars drive through here crazy and fast.almost been hit walking across the parking lot a few times. My husband read a review about someone getting really bad mucus from living here. Wondering if there is a connection.maybe somthing we are breathing because he now has the same issue going on month 3 now. Lastly, we had a sewage backup in our kitchen. We left a voicemail and a request earlier in the day (around noon) and no one got back to us. Finally around midnight it overfilled our entire kitchen. Maintenance did a decent job cleaning. Was told a cleaning team would be coming in to clean at 10am. They came 2 hours later, at noon. I Had to have it cleaned twice. They did approach this matter professionally however it is a safety/health hazard; especially for my son. They offered to waive a 600$ transfer fee to a new unit but we must up our rent to do so. All I can say is, I won’t be renewing.

The employees here are amazing. Maintnence is quick, the landscaping is always taken care of and management does an amazing job. Julie the bookeeper has been amazing, she is the sweetest most understanding woman ever, never intimidating or rude. She is great at communication and has worked with me during the most difficult season of my life. You're the best, Julie! You will not find friendlier staff anywhere. The area is GREAT!

From the moment I walked in to their office I felt at home. The application process was the easiest I had ever encountered and the staff answered every one of my questions and made the move in process very comfortable. The community itself is excellent and every person I've met has been kind and really added to the enjoyment of living here. For anyone considering the Arcadia area do yourself a favor and stop in to see this place.

The only thing about this apartment complex is the Mini Mart, glad it's back open from renovations.
Seavian you are the best, keep up the good work in the Store!

Capri on Camelback was the first apartment complex I visited. It was the day after Thanksgiving and there was definitely a feeling of Holiday Cheer in the air. Julie, who set a bar in service every other tour guide since failed to meet took me on my tour. Julie made an out-of-towner feel like he belonged. She was incredible. In fact, there wasn't even a close second at any other building I visited. Julie has gone above and beyond what any reasonable prospective resident could ever expect. Hence, the reason I'm planning on moving into Capri on Camelback sometime this week.
Although, the grounds are beautiful and the apartment I hope to move into is pristine having been newly renovated I think it's the people you live with and amongst that's most important. There is a sense of community evident everywhere you turn. It's that love and those relationships we form that makes where you live a home. Capri on Camelback and Staff has set the standard in living!

I was so impressed by the genuine concern of Julie on my behalf that I literally felt guilty touring other buildings. From someone in the service industry that is trusted daily with other people's lives and well being I greatly appreciate any person who legitimately cares for another, above and beyond their own call of duty.

PS I also had the pleasure of working with Lori (I hope I've spelled it correctly) who inconvenienced herself as well on my behalf.
I want to be sure that the powers that be know that their efforts in running a 5 star apartment complex have produced an uncommon result that I was unable to find anywhere else.

This apartment is a joke. Zofia is just a glorified assistant. Broken glass everywhere. There is no front gate so shady people come and go always. Filed a complaint with the state and local building inspectors because they’re that bad!

Great apartment complex. Conveniently located. Can't beat the price and location. The amenities this apartment has to offer with a nice pool and landscape and oversized hot tub can't beat it. The gym needs to be updated with a few other things but that's about it

I have lived here for a little over a month now and I have had a very positive experience. The apartments themselves are nice on the inside, the grounds are kept up well and remains clean. Onsite convient store, really helps when you don’t feel like going out. The pool is huge and goes deep (which I love), and the pool area has huge palm trees and makes it have a resort kind of feel to it. The leasing agents were always helpful, any issue I had the mantienance fixed it the same day. I’m not sure about the other negative reviews on here because I honestly haven’t had any issues at all. Location is very good too. I really do enjoy living here!

Mellisa is very helpful. Make sure you have her as leasing agent if you are planning on living here.

I have only lived here for a little while but I can assure you that most of the negative comments have to be from people trying to lower the rating of this complex.

First of all, the women who work in the leasing office are fantastic. Unlike other places where you will be lucky for someone to take your call, they are extremely helpful.

Moving in: Melissa my leasing agent was a huge help with navigating their lease agreement and showing me around all the facilities and my apartment. They explain everything to you so there aren't any surprises.

Parking: Like most places you can pay for a garage or car port but they also have a LOT of free parking around the buildings. Late at night it may be hard to find a spot but considering the number of residents there is a LOT of parking.

Location: Amazing. You are close to all kinds of shopping and grocery stores.

Apartment: When I moved in my apartment we decently clean, all appliances and outlets worked.

Maintenance: Great, polite, helpful guys. They fix problems within 48 hours, if something still isn't quite working to your standard they come back till it is.

Grounds: Clean! Yes there is the occasional dog poop but they are super dog friendly, provide baggies, so that is the tenants problem to be looking after their pets. But even when there is a mess it is cleaned up fairly quickly.

Pool: Clean and well gated.

Only issues: You don't have much control over the thermostat because of the way it is set up but it is cold in the summer and that is all that matters. If you want it warmer they can always turn off the system for you.
Also the garbage disposal system, you have to pay to have your garbage taken instead of taking it out yourself. I would rather take it myself than pay the $20 dollars but oh well, they don't have bed bugs, roaches, or scorpions so I can take this minor issue.

Most negative comments I see are from people renewing their lease or after they leave. I haven't had to experience this process yet so I cannot comment. But the people are great, if you treat them with respect they will go above and beyond for you. It is a great location and fair pricing. This is my first apartment and I am happy to be somewhere that is quiet, clean, and I feel safe.

I have lived here for 9 months and I'm not renewing my lease. The rent they offered me for my renewal was increased from 680 to 796 and pet rent was increased from 22 to 35. This place is not worth that much money. Parking is limited, you can't control your ac or heat, there is constant noise because people always have their doors and window open to keep cool and the buildings are old and not kept up very well. It's not a terrible place to live, it's just absolutely not worth the money.

Check with the police department as to how often they are called to intervene or investigate questionable activities there.

I absolutely loved living here! I lived here for 2 years. It's in a great location. It's a great value and the pool, fitness center, and convenience store on site give it a lot of character. I read all the reviews before I moved in and I am disappointed to see so many negative reviews because this place is amazing and a hidden gem!

I've been here for a year and it's been subpar. The staff folks are very nice and friendly, but my surrounding neighbors and the overall quality of my room was not so nice. If you're looking to live here, I'd strongly suggest getting a reserved spot too because the parking here is dicey at best.

I work in property management myself and from a professional standpoint the staff here is dreadfull. I could not imagine treating any of my tenants as poorly as they treat theirs. I moved here because it was very close to work and it was an 9 month mistake. The apartments are below par, it smeels like urine and dog poo everywhere you walk; thats just a few of the many issues but I wont go into the others. I would strongly suggest anyone looking at this complex avoid it like the plague.

I really enjoy living at Capri - it has a great location near Camelback Mountain and is close to many stores and restaurants. The atmosphere is also nice, with a great pool and several grills. The complex stays clean and quiet and the maintenance staff has always been quick to respond and I haven't had any issues with insect infestations like at other complexes - rated 5/5.

Rude and dismissive lease agent. If they are this curt to a prospective inquiry can only imagine it's worse from there.
