Smooth, hassle free, no pressure buying experience from beginning to end. I located a vehicle that I was looking for at one of their out of state stores and it was transferred to Tucson. Zulma Moore was my sales associate and handled the entire transaction in a very professional manner. As previously mentioned, there was no pressure on her part and Zulma was straightforward about the exact costs. The entire transaction from the time I test drove to signing, to delivery was about 90 minutes! I would highly recommend CarMax Tucson if you’re in the market for a vehicle and a car buying experience like no other. Kudos to Zulma and the rest of the staff.

Overall very good experience. The first salesperson would not let me test drive the car on the open road. Said they couldn't do that. But when I returned to drive it again, I was allowed to take it on the expressway. Not sure what that was about other than the fact that I have gray hair and lots of assumptions are made about age and abilities. However, the second salesperson, Manny, was great. Ultimately he made the purchase a pleasure.

I bought my first car here in 2014 it was a great experience! Bought my second car here about a month ago and it was a just ok experience. I had to leave and get some income paperwork and the rep just kept saying the car might be sold by then. Then I get the car and the let me have it with out proof of insurance so I told them I’d get it the next day. I had some issues getting the paperwork from the insurance company and I had two reps blowing up my phone by text messages and phone calls none stop for two days. I told them if they didn’t stop bugging me at work and blowing up my phone I would bring the car back. Also they scratched the care on the side when they washed it

My salesperson was patient with me (there had been an accident and I was waiting on my insurance company). The vehicle I found was not what I was looking for but it was exactly what I wanted and thought I could not afford.
The process of completing paperwork was easy and done in a short period of time.
Carmax was recommended to me and now I sing praises to everyone I know!

Easiest way to buy a car, no doubt what the prices are, are not hounded while walking around the lot. Will shop here again.

I have purchased multiple high quality cars from Carmax. If you are looking for a special vehicle it's a lot easier and less risky to get it at Carmax rather than buying online. Good prices, great trade values. Easy to buy, no pressure, great financing options.

My Cadillac was purchased at Carmax in Massachusetts, and I made an appointment for service after driving cross country, they treated me like family. All great experiences with Carmax.

I bought a car from CarMax. I noticed an intermittent problem with the transmission in 5th gear. I took it back to CarMax and eventually they were able to reproduce the problem. They sent the car to a 3rd party transmission specialist and fixed the problem. Chris and Aron were very helpful and professional in every step of this process. They gave me a loaner car while my car was being repaired. Nicely done, CarMax!

They don't reveal pre-qualification options online after filling out the application. Need to talk to the dealer to get details. The interest rates quoted to me were twice as high as what my finance company offered, and the prices on vehicles I was looking at were not that low either. Pay a lot for convenience methinks. Terrible experience all around.

Worked with Rocky to find a smaller hatchback car. They had a few different options and we were able to narrow down very quickly. With her help and Car Max's no haggle price and transparent policies. I was out the door with a new car within about 1.5-2 hours from walking in the door to decision making to driving off the lot. I was VERY happy with both Car Max and Rocky! Would totally recommend them and her in a heartbeat!

I don't like CarMax. These people were somewhat nicer than another I visited in another state. They have a snobby attitude. Like they are doing you a favor to sell used cars at higher than you can get it somewhere else. I suggest you shop around.

OUTSTANDING TRANSACTION! Wonderful personnel, great selection. We got exactly the vehicle we needed in a very stress free environment. We can't recommend them or our salesman (Max) highly enough. Their 5 day return policy is a lifesaver. Extremely happy with everything about this purchase. We'll definitely go back to them the next time we need a car or truck.
