Cornish Pasty Co reviews
29Always a great time, food is spectacular (English, 100%), servers attentive (80%), beer and drink selection (70%), good music level (no ads, rock, 100%) free pool tables on top level (90% level, 9ft)
Other than the music they were playing this place is great. Good food good service. The benches that you sit on at the tables are very uncomfortable but doable the food is worth it
It is a good place to hang out with friends. It has both drink and food available. Not a very wide variety but good enough to find something to meet everyone choice.
This is late-night food at its best. Incredible pasties, great bar, great atmosphere. This isn't just mediocre bar food; it's top notch.
Horrible service! I went in on 1/2/19 with my fiance to pick up for postmmates, and i was treated horribly. Upon entrance i was quickly ignored while the tall dark haired gentlemen went to laugh and talk with ladies at the bar. When i requested a manger i was jokingly directed across the street, when i asked the short haird fella with the brown hair to get the manager he left and quickly ambushed buy the bartender and he never came back after thier encounter. The tall dark haired gentlemen snatched the card out of my hand, and threw the receipt at me. This is highly unacceptable and i refuse to return!
Awesome food, service is mostly great but there are a few servers that just cater to "their" clientele.
I've been to the Cornish Pasty Co a few times now and have always had an amazing experience. Service is typically quick even when busy and it's always a fun time when me and friends are there. One of the best parts about to place the various different pasties you can get. Whether it's a Greek inspired, Indian or just good old Guinness stew you can never go wrong.
This place is so cool, and the food was incredible. (Cubano party pictured here, weirdly amazing.) Don't miss it!
Delicious and unique, a pasty is great for at work or just a hearty fast meal. Brings back such memories!
This location has a similar vibe to the original in Tempe: dim lights, dark paint, cool style. It’s 2 floors and if you go upstairs, there’s a pool table or two, and you can people-watch if you sit by the window. Me and my husband had a lovely date night here. Our sever was very attentive. The food is amazing. I got the chicken tikka salad and he got the royal with cheese pasty. The food came in good time. Highly recommend if you’re in the downtown area!
Very good food. Nice selection to choose from, recommend sharing to try different ones. Love the atmosphere, 3 different floor levels to choose from.
Perfect spot on a cold winter night. Great beer, awesome food friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!
Great spot for drinks and meat (or veg) pies. Unusual, but really good. Place tends to be a bit busy, but find a seat and sit yourself and you'll have a great time.
The same Cornish Pasty that we all love, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Huge selections of freshly made Pasties. You will be back time after time to try something new. The house branded beer is good for pairing.
Easily accessible by lightrail at the Central Station on VanBuren. Street parking only if you drive (not recommended, go to the Tempe locations if you're in a car).
Great selection of adult beverages, an overwhelming number of pasty-bilities (my "Roast Dinner" was tasty & satisfying), and mostly expert service. The acoustics aren't optimal for conversation - unless you're LOUD yet POLITE.
Loved the upstairs bar vibe. The food is absolutely amazing. So far, I've tried 6 items. The Royale is hands down the best. So far.
Dark, low light, and pricey Hot Pocket type food. Really only nice things are that there is lots of room upstairs and free pool
Fantastic all around! Authentic Cornish pasty with many traditional selections as well as innovative alternatives including veg/vegan. Salads were fresh, dressing delicious, huge beer selection, and craft cocktails. Service was perfect. Beautiful building and chill vibe. One of the best restaurant:/bars in Phoenix-especially if you are looking for something unique.
The pasties were excellent, as was the selection of micro brews.
The only criticism I have is that the interior was rather poorly lit and one couldn't easily read the menu in the dim light.
