My latest experience at Butterfield was rather unpleasant. A donor that was sitting directly across from me had a mask on, but only had it covering her mouth. Upon asking staff if that was acceptable and to let the woman know she needed to cover her nose as well, the woman told me to "mind my own business". Staff had been visiting with her often and never asked that she wear the mask properly. When the woman heard me ask, and told me off, she then told staff she couldn't breath with the mask over her nose and they said that was fine. I do believe that it is my business if there is an individual not wearing the proper protection in a facility that requires such. I don't know if I will go back to Butterfield as it was humiliating for me to have staff put me in that uncomfortable situation. I would suggest that those donors who are not willing to wear their face masks properly yet are allowed to donate with those of us who do, be placed in a separate area. The COVID numbers keep rising and if a donor finds it too difficult to breath with a mask on, they will find it even more difficult on a ventilator.

Their staff has improved. Before they had some rude people who were there for a paycheck but even then, I would be up to date with emails about payment and bonuses but haven't recieved an email since May of last year. And now I heard through word of mouth that it's changing again. Payment will be 2$ a visit. No one knew how to explain it. So I'm moving to bio life. It's by appointment.

I was very nervous going to give plasma for the first time. Didnt know what to expect. The staff was very professional and it went down without a hitch. Doing this as a second job and going back two times a week.

Spent an hour watching these videos and passed everything to get to the physical and be told I couldn't donate because I had too much wax in one of my ears. Meanwhile I have 2 dollars to my name and spent the gas getting there.

The staff are nice, the service is usually pretty quick, and the payout is pretty fair for the amount of time you spend inside. If they had enough staff to run all the booths and speed up those long lines then I'd give it a five.

At the Irvington location. First checking in the older lady at the front desk is very rude and inconsiderate. It was my first time of trying to do the right thing and donate. This is definitely not how you talk to people. My first and last time I go to this location.

Miscommunication at the expense of others is never ok. I went through the "check-in" process here only to be told it was done a different way almost an hour into my visit. I had to restart the process because the staff is inept. No hustle, gossiping and screwing around while the line is 20 people deep, and unprofessional snooty staff "cough cough BRITANNY" Stay away.

Takes way to long for first time donors. Waited 3 hours before my interview. The place was slow and steady

Lol some of the staff here like gossiping and bullying people.it's not even a matter of someone doing something wrong. Now it just depends on how bored they are.smh

Great staff, but there is never enough of them. If the line gets short, the wait is just as long because they start sending people home

For first time doners.your not in there for like 4 to 5 hours like it used to be.the longest you would be in there is 45 min to an hour and they give you a VIP pass in front the line (if there is one)

Iv been donating for over a year in January I started working nights, I couldn’t donate I went today to attempt to get back on track with donating & I got there at 10 no one there. It was way under staffed waited 4 hrs. Staff was rude making excuses so I left all I had left was to see medical which I was told would be another 30 mins bc of lunches. Bc of there poor treatment & bad scheduling they lost a donor.

Hmmm, where do I begin? When I first stared donating here in Tucson things were all gravey. Started @ the one on 4th. I had 4got something by time I got back they closed. Left sate for few days, lost wallet on way home (ID). Soooo,
couldn't donate. Never went back for 2yrs. Needed to make extra cash pay bills. 4th St off Broadway, best ppl I ever had to give plasma to. Moved across town so started @ the one on Irvington. Nice place. Great staff except for a couple of them. Petty bullst one says one thing an the other one over rides the other one! I swear this so called medical staff needs to stop being hateful and petty. Jus cuz u don't like someone, or just want to throw ur weight (very serios) around (LMAOF). Then by all means do so. But after today a few of them will lose some respect for ur so called Authority.just not with me.
Respectfully, KLR

I'd give this 0 stars if I could. Horrible service ever! Sorry for the long post in advance! My fiancé and I went to donate for our 1st time and was told we needed any kind of mail that was sent to both of us within the past 30 days along with an ID and SS. We had to drive back home (almost a 45 minute drive) to get the mail and went back the same day only for them to say our mail was past 30 days, which it wasn't. We decided to go again the following day hoping we'd be able to donate this time. Got in and walked up to the counter and the woman said neither of our mail envelopes were sufficient enough. He had an envelope from the state and I had a bank statement. The woman said they could only accept mail such as an electric or utility bill, even though the day prior the same woman said any piece of mail would do. She decided that my phone bill would do, though, and continued by giving us a binder to read before watching a movie and said the entire process would be about 3 hours. After reading the binder and handing it back to her, she opened up to the second page where the dress code was for patients and said that my attire was not "acceptable" and that the hole on his pants on his knee wasn't "dress code" approval. We both looked decent, nothing skimpy, didn't look sloppy, nothing. Dare say I'm never going to this place again. More of a headache than anything trying to donate. Absolutely horrible staff, not friendly whatsoever!
