Hotel Hassayampa Inn reviews
23Awesome old ambience. They accommodate small dogs allowing them on the patio and in the huge loby and halls. So nice to have that after other places charge an extra 40 bucks for dogs. This place charges nothing extra!
I made reservations on Monday for a party of three at 12: 30 on Wednesday. I requested a booth. When we arrived they have no such reservation recorded. We had to wait 15 or 20 minutes before we were seated. Everyone was very polite and apologized several times, the service was fine and the food was good we did have a good time at our birthday party.
Loved our stay, it was historic and quaint, rooms, restrooms, restaurants - everything super clean but also very nostalgic which I love being from Arizona myself, I love how everything is keep originality
Cool place. You can feel the history. I was surprised howmuch I enjoyed the place. Its absolutely beautiful.
Let me start out with the fact that I never leave reviews. After staying at the Hassayampa Inn- I felt it truly necessary to leave a review. Besides the fact that you have NO privacy because neighbors can hear you whispering in the room, if you want to take a shower directly 2inches from the shower wall; stay here. Yes, it is conveniently located- however for the cost to stay here they are truly capitalizing on the age of the building. I wouldn’t care that much if the building was updated- however it is not. Smells like wet water, has filthy carpet, and gave me nausea because of the unclean room. Do not stay here unless you want to suffer.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Our first night we unfortunately had a barking dog on our floor left unattended, but staff qiuckly addressed the issue. The restaurant and bar have fantastic food and spirits, and the nightly live entertainment relaxes any stresses of the day! We will surely come back!
It's an absolutely beautiful hotel. And the staff is great! However.for that kind of money? I feel like you should receive something. Like, a free kids meals in their restaurant. Or drink tickets. Just something! The room was really small for 4 people and their stuff. Of course, it's because it's historic. But it was hard to move around. Unfortunately, I don't think we would ever stay there again.
Great Historic Hotel. Their rooms are well priced, clean & comfortable. It is a beautiful, Historic Hotel. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The restaurant serves good food in a pretty Dining Room. Thanks
This place was cool! The room was a bit small but charming. We had an awful neighbor who complained about our TV being on and at volume leve 1 and banged on our wall for hours. When we told the front desk we were moved to an upgraded room and given a complementary breakfast. The room was amazing, if I stayed here again the upgraded is definitely worth it. The breakfast was also fantastic, some of best corn beef hash I’ve ever had! My mom got the lemon pancakes and said they were amazing (can’t speak for myself as she wouldn’t share)
Highly recommended place to stay in Prescott. It is located near downtown. Room was nice and clean. Peacock restaurant has a good food with reasonable price. All staffs are friendly. We will definitely stay there again.
Very historic Hotel beautifully kept. Prescott's Whiskey Row is always lots of fun. Lots of great shopping and and nice restaurants. Close to the Dells and Watson Lake. Perfect for walking or hiking or mountain bike riding. Fun for kayak or canoe also.
This Hotel, is a historic building.
It is located right downtown Prescott.
There is a nice restaurant in the hotel, and nice sitting areas, and nice common areas, in the hotel, and outside.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week. It was a great place, however, the 50$ deposit we made that is supposed to be returned to us has not reached the account and it's been a month. The hotel has told us that our deposit is approved to come back, however, the bank says that it has not been attempted by the Hassayampa to return it. Your stay might cost an unexpected extra 50$ just like ours did. If the money is reissued I will fix this review to what it would deserve
Great location when visiting Prescott. Close to all the activities & shopping. Bought some nice original art pieces. Inn has the real historic ambience. Good Happy Hour.
Great hotel! Luxury rooms combined with historic architecture to create an overall great experience.
Rooms small but clean, food was mediocre, fail on briskette burger. Too busy for service to be good. Won't be back.
Lovely staff and iconic venue. Peacock breakfast was reasonable and filling. Quiet, clean and historical.
The walls are awfully thin, and some poor couple decided that they NEEDED to have an incredibly personal fight most of the night. This hotel is lovely and cool. But the walls leave little to the imagination.
I love how the management has managed to keep the hotel up to standards and still maintain it's originality. I am sure its a constant struggle since the hotel dates back to the roaring 1920's. Rooms are comfortable yet small and bathrooms are like those of a studio apartment. There was a blow dryer in my room, no iron in my room. If you need a magnifying mirror, bring your own. I do recommend you research the history on this hotel before you stay
especially if you have phychic abilities.
Beautifly restored, very helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Nicely located in the city of Prescott with a private lot.
