JOANN Fabric and Crafts reviews
21If you need anything for crafting this place has a very friendly staff and a large selection of fabrics yarn and many other things my favorite go to place
I love the different fabrics and items available for any kind of craft I could do. I'll definitely keep coming back in the future.
It's a Joanns— nothing too standout at this location. The employees are usually friendly and helpful, especially the ones at the fabric counter. The layout of the store is a little unintuitive. Overall pretty nice and in a good location.
Nice Joanns. Large selection of fabric as usual. Friendly employees!
Thank you, Gail, for allowing us to put flyers up on your bulletin board regarding an open studio for a local longtime Tucson resident and artist. We appreciate Joann's supporting local artists this way!
Huge line and only one cashier. Needed something for work and I was there 20 minutes longer than I should have been just waiting. I will never come back.
I purchased a craft lamp at JoAnn Fabrics for $165. I was given a receipt on the back of
which is printed, "You can return any JoAnn
purchase any time with no hassle. " No exclusions. I
took the lamp home and immediately assembled it,
fully expecting it would work. To my surprise and
disappointment, it wouldn't turn on. I took it
immediately back to the store (less than an hour
after I purchased it) thinking maybe it was a bulb
problem and they could swap out another one. Once I made the 45 minute trek back to the store, the manager was called and she informed me they couldn't do anything for me since I had opened the box! She said once the box was opened, it was "out of their hands" and the burden was now on me to contact the lamp manufacturer directly to figure out how to get a WORKING lamp. I told her I would just like to return the lamp in that case, and she told me I couldn't return this particular brand of light. When I purchased the lamp, I was not verbally told it could not be returned. The purchase receipt states very clearly that ANY JoAnn purchase can be returned AT ANY TIME with no hassle. Tucson buyers should beware that JoAnn Fabrics did NOT honor the written return policy that appears on the back of their register receipts. It even says, "Returns with a smile are super easy" in big font. I didn't get a smile either. I got a snippy attitude, a lamp that doesn't work, I'm out $165, and now I have to spend MY time trying to chase down the manufacturer. UNBELIEVABLE.
I always forget something and have decided to make a couple of blankets for Christmas gifts this year. I usually get what I need as they have an awesome variety.
The store on Oracle/Wetmore refused to give me my return on my debit card. I had the item in package, receipt, and paid with debit card. The receipt was within 90 days even on website it says you can get return with debit card. Will said "the company only gives store credit, texted his manager and she said store credit. " This was my first and only time I will ever go to this store. They are not following company policy.
The staff here were very nice and, as the might expect, lots of fabric. There are also lots of various crafting supplies.
I love this store! It is clean and well organized. They had great deals on fabric as well. They have a great yarn selection.
Nice place but it is pricey. Lots of fabric but I heard they are closing the store by Tucson Mall. That leaves ONE store that is an hour + away! Not happy atvall
I’ve been here before but never used the rest room I guess. It was so dirty it felt like a gas station bathroom. After I saw that, I started looking closer and noticed how dirty the drawers were by the patterns. It’s just grimy in there. I added a star for their friendly staff.
The staff make the store nice. However they were low on items i needed. Its not that large of a store. They do have good discounts.
When you're almost the only game in town. This is a beautiful well-stocked with all things art, sewing, crafts. Fabrics are a decent selection. Sure miss our old privately owned fabric stores. Times change.
Came at 855 doors were wide open. As Im walking up past the flower holder a girl locks them. 5 mins really gonna make or break you? Sounds like somebody being funny.
This store is nice and usually has what I need but the service is painfully slow. I think they are understaffed. They are nice, just slow. Store is usually busy.
It is a decent place with a decent selection of craft supplies and fabric selection for it's size. The bathrooms generally need a bit of attention, but otherwise they usually have what I am looking for.
I called and asked what time they closed and they told me 9pm and so I showed up at 8pm and the staff locked the doors. Ridiculous.
Lots of fabric and craft items. As with most things these they didn't have what I was looking for and had no idea if or when they would get it. I went to the o line store and ordered it. Could have been friendlier and more helpful in store.
A little small but had everything I needed. A good selection of arts and crafts and decor without being quite as overwhelming as hobby lobby can be!
