LA Fitness, Scottsdale AZ

I have been going to this location for years. It is kept clean and has lots of equipment. I swim frequently and the pool usually has a lane open. The front desk staff is very friendly. It is as good or better than some other LA Fitness locations I have been to.

Always love this place. Clean, racquetball courts are awesome and of course it helps the gym goers are attractive:)

Couple days ago I get to LA fitness to get new membership when the guy did for me tour he’s tell me if you’re not gonna like it are you going to get full refund after a couple days when I come in different hours in this place very busy all the time without that for all things they’re very old I can’t and I I just asked for cancel my membership and if I get my full refund so they say no you’re not get refund you just not gonna pay next payment I called to the same guy who did for me membership and he’s telling me he’s not work there anymore and he’s no they do sheet stuff with the money so I am not recommend to do Any membership in this place they very nice from the beginning but in the end they not!

LA fitness is one of the awesome gym to gain weight and muscle great experience so we could push it

Glad to return to Silver Sneakers. 6' circles on floor for spacing and class size limits. Wiping down equipment before and after class. But disappointed most not wearing masks and no signage even suggesting it. Most in AZ still not vaccinated. And do those who are not realize they can still spread it. Probably won't go back.

I really like LA Fitness. This location had too many meat heads for me but no disruptions during my workout. The staff is very nice and available for any concerns or questions I've had.

The door says masks required, yet nobody enforces this policy. Also, hours have been slashed. Definitely needs better management

The front desk NEVER greets you. Maybe every now and then they will say what’s up, but it’s only the females. The more Asian looking individual with the big arms at the front desk has not once greeted me or even bothered to look up when I walk in. This same employee actually had the nerve to shoo me off of a machine because he was using it to do his super steps. Super rude Probably gonna cancel soon just because of the staff

This is a very filthy gym. Their cleaning practices are below par because their trying to save a buck. They can definitely do better.

Eric Stark is amazing. With the introduction of Esporta, my membership was changed and it is due to Eric that I am still an LA Fitness customer. He is able to take on the customers perspective and truly run through options and help choose what will benefit the customer. I was ready to throw in the towel and move on to a different gym, but his character / demeanor and the way he handled things today really changed that for me. LA Fitness should be grateful to have people like Eric. Thank you for all your help today!

It's a standard la fitness with a very south Scottsdale atmosphere. They have a basketball court, pool, and racquetball courts too. Older crowd in the morning and younger in the evening. Friendly staff, not pushy anymore. Lots of group classes and a shake bar. Different than a shake weight.

Lots of machines and weights, the set up of each erea has logic to it, see a lot of familiar faces and they work hard, its good motivation. This location is a busy one even sometimes in the morning.

The staff is friendly and it's not too crowded. All of the teachers I have taken classes with are great too. The only problems are that the hot tub is always breaking and there are people living in the changing rooms. It's really odd to see people sleeping in there or washing their clothes in the locker room.

This is my second favorite LA Fitness in the metro Phoenix area. Waters are only $1 and there are plenty of Smith machines and leg press machines so I tend to not have to wait too long (if at all) on leg day. The facility is clean and nothing stays in a state of disrepair for long. Plus it's open later that some of the other locations. Note of caution: the crowd here is really young and fit so if that intimidates you, perhaps check out the location at 32nd st and Camelback.

It’s not well managed at all, every day their maintenance team doesn’t start until 6pm and by that time ever paper towel roll is empty and the machines are covered in sweat. Today there were literally no paper towels in any dispenser and when I informed them they said “yeah the truck doesn’t get here until tomorrow”, like go get some sanitary wipes or something. This is gross.

Luv this place. Really serious fitness enthusiasts there. Met several nice people there. Will be visiting again.

My wife became a member 5 yrs ago. She hasn't been in a while and wanted me to go with her so we could both get back into shape. When we asked for a tour, the very young man didn't think we needed a tour but told us if we want to exercise we would need to sign a waiver. Why would i do that if he couldnt atleast show me around. I had lots of questions my wife could no way answer. Not very good service made me feel I wasn't worth even 5 minutes of his time.

I was treated very rudely by the staff at La fitness I was refused a membership. I was first left waiting while watching the guy flirt With a customer. Then after they made me wait for 30 mins they first insulted me by asking where I worked? This is why the world so messed up hiring racist staff then said I.couldn't get a membership trail or anything there the locAtion is in scottsdale az.

I just had a one week free pass, I've used three days/visits. So far so good. It was a little crowded when I went, but everyone was friendly. The staff was really helpful. I have a couple of passes to try other places. I'm thinking I might come back and join this one after I've checked those out. We'll see how it goes. This one has a pool, that is such a plus in the hot summer and the staff was pretty helpful.

This is an extremely clean, quite and private gym where the trainers will focus on individuals. Their machines are updated and well maintained. I love that they don’t get too much packed and is well worth the money.
