Gym LA Fitness reviews
34 Had a really good experience her yesterday. It was my first time to LA Fitness and Carlos offered me a complimentary three-day pass. I met a friend there to play some basketball. Even the basketballs they lend out are nice.
It was a little crowded but a nice facility.
Messy, dirty and I don't like the customer service. I regimen little gyms in the area such Independence Gym or if you are in to franchise gyms, Youfit gym
If you have the choice to go to another la fitness around peak times, I would recommend to do so. Since this location is so close to the Arizona State campus, there are a lot of students that come here and often times you will be waiting for machines or benches to free up.
Literally just joined yesterday and my entire body is breaking out with rash I think it’s athletes foot I am so mad right now
Great facility and trainers insure a perfect workout. Plenty of equipment and free weights along with basketball court and handball courts.
Great gym, decent prices. My one complaint is the kid's area-ive never used it because every time I look inside the kids are running around and the employees there do nothing
LA fitness has really begun to turn it around. Their sales team and contract conditions used to be so hostile, but they are finally getting it together. They offered me a month to month, showed me the options, and left it at that. I wasnt planning on signing with them, because of friend's horror stories, but they told me about their culture changing and they really demonstrated that. I'm impressed. The fun has all you'd basically need, hot tub, pool, sauna included. They do not have functional training equipment, nor a good open space for cross training, hence the 4 stars.
Not a fan of this place. I came here with a free week pass and had to sit through a pushy sales pitch for over 45 minutes. My work outs last that long and when I tell you 30 times that I have a gym membership and know how to work out and don't need a "tour" of your facilities then that means I don't want to hear your sales pitch. Also the showers here were filthy, and the rest of the locker room wasn't that clean.
Ok this gyms cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Same garbage in the same place day after day after day. Shower curtains black mold. Shower curtain and shower bar laid in same shower on floor for three days. Mens locker room floor covered in dirty black grime. C'mon man. You make mountainside fitness look better and better.
Don’t do personal training it’s just a scam for them to get money and a complete rip off they don’t care or show enthusiasm about there clients.
Today I completed my first personal training session with Joshua Werner. It was a great workout. Challenging but not impossible. He chatted with me about my current routine, diet, and goals. Joshua was very encouraging and supportive. If you're wanting a personal trainer to help you stay on track and meet your goals, Joshua can help you get there.
Extremely crowded between about 5 and 8 pm on weekdays to the point with long waits for free weights, benches, and weight machines. Large crowd from south Scottsdale, east Phoenix, and I think Tempe. However overall great facility, convenient location. Would be nicer if they had more / updated cardio machines as in other LA fitnesses.
This gym offers everything you need for pursuing your fitness goals. It can be busy at certain times of the day, but for a membership fee you gain access to all LA Fitness gyms in the area, which is convenient.
Played basketball here before it was pretty cool. I wouldn't dare pay the membership they're asking for
