The food was so scrumptious. The service was completely flawless. I shall definitely come back. My dining experience today is unforgettable!

So, yesterday was my man's birthday and we decided to celebrate by going out to eat. I was super anxious. Upon planning and making a reservation, this was going to be our first time eating out INSIDE of a restaurant since the pandemic craziness began. But, it was stress free and an amazing experience once we got to the restaurant.

I made a reservation at La LOcanda in Scottsdale for 730pm. We were running behind schedule by the time we got home from work and got ready (if you know us, this is not a surprise.), so, I hopped online to see if there was an option to modify my reservation. The next available time was 8. No problem! We got to the restaurant at 8 and the parking lot was nearly empty. We were greeted by a mask wearing, super friendly guy who told us to sit wherever we would like. I always feel bad going to restaurants late, especially when not many (or any) other patrons are there. I just feel like a nuisance. And many times that feeling has been because of the actions/unfriendliness of the restaurant staff. This was 10000% not the case here. It was one of THE. BEST. Customer service experiences we have ever had. Our server told us their specials. I told him that we were actually vegan and apologized for letting him list them all out for us. And he said "no worries! We love everyone here. Have you seen our dedicated plant based menu? " And he seemed SO genuine and happy to be helping us.

So we started with some iced tea. It was amazing. I think he said the flavor was called desert blossom? Then we saw their salads.they all looked so good. They were full-sized and full-priced. So I was contemplating getting one. He offered to split one between the two of us, but, we wanted different ones. Then the manager who was standing near the bar said "we can do a half size for you if you want". I MELTED.but then, once I ate the salad, I wished I had gotten a full-size. It was that good! I got the arugula salad. It had almonds, strawberries, and a citrus dressing. My guy got the full-size house salad and loved it!

Then we ordered some garlic bread to eat with our meal. He got the Linguine Primavera. I got the Linguine with Garlic Sauce. The portion sizes were perfect for the price. And we both loved our food SO MUCH. Some people may think im over exaggerating, but, we both said to each other (multiple times) how happy we were with everything.

Then.our server asked if he could interest us in any dessert. I politely said "no thanks. We have his birthday cake waiting at home for us". He said "ohh! Happy birthday! " And then 2 or 3 minutes later it was like he literally appeared out of nowhere.lol. Carrying a plate with a beautiful and very generously sized slice of vegan cheesecake with a candle on top.
IDK WHAT KIND OF CRACK THEY PUT IN THEIR CHEESECAKE, BUT, OMG.

For us, this was a special treat and we will probably only go for celebrations or if family is in town. But. I cannot wait to go back. I'm so excited to have a delicious restaurant where we can go with our omni fam/friends and have delicious options to choose from! If you haven't tried La LOcanda. DO IT!

Also.the atmosphere is very cute?

Over priced and under delivered on the cuisine, may want to put a little seafood in the seafood risotto if your gonna charge $34.00 for it.

The service was great, the server was very friendly. The food was cooked perfectly. We had muscles, linguine, fish and chocolate mousse cake. Definitely will go back.

Food was excellent. Our order was lost so it took some extra time but the manager came, was apologetic and comped a few drinks.

First time in La Laconda. It's a hidden gem in Scottsdale. I had the Lobster rizotto, it was the best I ve ever had. I go to Italy every year. If you are looking for a quiet restaurant with great food and service, this one is it! We all had a great experience.

This restaurant has a history that is decades long. The food and service are classic and timeless.

Fantastic food. Expensive, but great sized portions. Totally worth the money. Great service. I don't review ever, but this place deserved it.

The most AMAZING Italian food in Scottsdale. We have been there several times and tonight topped it. We had the beet and goat salad, delicious. Garlic bread, crispy garlicky and yummy, and the Pappardelli pasta, the pasta is made in house, the bolloniase made in house. This is a MUST restaurant to go to! AND CARMEL SALTED GELATO FOR DESSERT! Need I say more? Go!

What a delightful find! They are open earlier on the weekend and it seems folks haven’t figured out that it is an amazing place to enjoy lunch or brunch as well as happy hour and dinner daily. Great food and great service! The limoncello was the best I’ve had. And I hear orangecello will soon be available! Yum!

Food is delicious. I tried risotto and it tastes so good! I replaced the lobster with shrimp and it was well cooked. The pink sauce with the risotto made the dish taste yummy, size of the dishes are perfect which made me full. I did not like the musics of the restaurant. I wish they had better musics to make the place more quiet. However, the quality of their silver ware were low they could replace them with new ones.

We stopped in for happy hour and sat at the bar. We came when it was during the week and right at 5pm so we were the only ones in there. I had a glass of wine and the chicken wrap and it was fantastic! My boyfriend had the caprese sandwich and he really enjoyed that. Service and food was wonderful and we will be back again for dinner.

Excellent service and great food. The waiter, George was very knowledgeable. The portions were very generous for restaurant week. It is a winner.

Went for anniversary and it was great across the board. Tiramasu is amazing and I don't even like it usually. Ww will go back again.

Pricey italian food, strong fish smell when entering. Clams were very good, sauce average. Chicken parm average. Mashed potatos very good. Caesar salde missing anchovies. Over all I would call it good with potential.

Our meal was fabulous and service was top notch! I will definitelly be back next time I'm in the area!

We had the grilled Calamari, caprese, beet salad, lobster bisque and the black linguine. All were excellent, but the calamari was by far the best. The limoncello broth was spot on. Make sure you get some bread to dip.

Great menu, outstanding atmosphere with dim (but not too dim) lighting. Comfy but elegant booths. Nice wine list. I had the grilled calamari and Veal Gorgonzola, finishing with superb slated caramel Gelato. A real treat, not busy on a weekday.

Everything was excellent - the food, the wine, the ambiance, and the service. A real gem. Surprised it wasn't crowded on a Sunday evening. We will come back every time we're in Scottsdale. Loved it.

Delicious and top notch service. Must try. Homemade pasta, lobster rossoto, best tarrimasu around.
