Scorpion Bay has it all! Restaurant on the water, jet skis, kayaks and pontoons. Friendly and helpful dock staff. Be on the look out for burros too! Beautiful place!

After driving around for 40 minutes there wasn't a single spot for day use. There was trash everywhere, dirty diapers and garbage floating in the lake, broken glass covering the shoreline. This area is grossly mismanaged and they should be ashamed, they only care about making a profit, not keeping this reservoir healthy it accessible.

This park should call a retirement park insted they dont aload familys be a part of camp because all the snow births take all the camping spots by doing that they are not letting the az people enjoy our own laked and cap with our family

I love visiting this Maricopa County Park. I usually have lunch or dinner at Scorpion Bay Marina Bar and Grill.

A great place and perfect weather right now to go hang out. Camping and everything right by the lake where you can camp fish and eat what you catch Right Where You Are. First time there but very enjoyable

Only lake on the west side of metro phoenix, but the water was really low when we went in September.

Water is very low right now which makes it hard to ride the jet skis but the water felt really nice.

Great lake but people don't follow the rules like brining their pets into the water, which makes it feel dirty, but otherwise it's great to go as family.

Trash everywhere. Bags of poop floating in the water. Restroom was absolutely disgusting. Not worth the 7 bucks. I’d rather drive up to lake Powell to have a good splash in a clean lake. Will not be coming back.

Can take your vehicle down to the water. Large recreational area. I've not had much luck with fishing but still enjoy the area.

Water felt nice for a quick dip but the water getting lower over the years makes it a bit hazardous to get to it with all the stone exposed

Beautiful area, we seen quite a few donkey's roaming around that day. The campsites are pretty rustic for my taste. The lake was absolutely beautiful, lots of rentals available if you want to.

Although this appears to be the classic "middle of nowhere" recreational area, it's actually just a short drive from populated areas. We saw lots of fish and some were 2' or bigger. Plenty of lake area for fishing and boating. Half the year it is very hot, even at night, and there is no shade.

This was the place where we camped for the annual Paddlefest. A very hot weekend but the water was refreshing.

Lake Pleasant Regional Park is a large outdoors recreation area straddling the Maricopa and Yavapai county border northwest of Phoenix,  Arizona. The park is located within the municipal boundaries of Peoria, Arizona, and serves as a major recreation hub for the northwest Phoenix metropolitan area.

Off peak times are great for kayaking at the lake. Basic exercise in the coves at the southern portion. Those aren't terribly interesting. But there are lots of neat coves and channels at the northern end of the lake. Fishing is often great here and there are plenty of places to camp, including improved camp sites with tables and fire pits. If you have a trailer or RV, there are great spots especially for those. Great facilities and location all around. Beautiful desert lake.

A nice park on a nice lake. There is a lot of things you can find to do here. There is a $$ charge to get into the park.

Confusing on a good place to fish. But price of 7 reasonable per vehicle. Better maps for fish locations.
