Love's Travel Stop reviews
33How can you call this place a trace stop? Travel stops or centers have more than 4 stalls. Who ever loves hired to design these places needs to be fired. With the normal public and truckers plus truckers parked 4 stalls is not enough
A great place to park especially if you like taking pictures of the sunset, sunrise, moon, etc.this spot is very clean, has bean to cup coffee, friendlier & has a beautiful view of mountains with great parking for trucks.
Well we had 45 minutes to wait for a shower so I got bored and decided to write a review. Worst part we are the only one here. Worst part was I said something to Manager and he just laughed and said I don't really care.
THIS STORE HOARDS CHICKEN TENDERS FOR KIDS. I've been to the Carl's Jr many times each week and told they're sold out. Always.
Friendly lady at fuel desk. Clean showers with extra towels. People at Carl’s Jr.were friendly and had it going on. Seems to be a busy place,
Shower. If the showers are acceptable I buy fuel. Shower stall #2 was decked-out in black MOLD. Other than that I consider this shower more acceptable than Pilot's.
You tell people to do a job they are not qualified to do and you don't provide the proper equipment This is a prime example of money getting wasted.
Easy freeway access with plenty of fueling bays, easy RV island access the novice camper. Clean bathrooms and quick grab and run store items for the weary road warrior.
It's not uncommon for team trucks to swap out in a fuel lane or for drivers to take a 30 minute break in a fuel lane at night when there's no parking available. Drivers who don't buy fuel typically buy food, drinks or other products though. However this Loves doesn't seem to understand this and will essentially tell drivers to buy fuel or get lost over the speakers. I'll go to the pilot next time.
Loves employees are excellent. Courteous staff and surprisingly quick for as busy as they are. But don't go to Subway at night. There's a blonde young girl with a SERIOUS Attitude. It's because of her I WILL NOT go to Subway now. Used to stop every time I went West (once a week). Didn't like having to break up her little chit-chat to wait on paying customers so piss poor attitude really showed. Manager needs to have a long talk with her about common courtesy and customer service
So trucks were backing up to the road so I just jumped in any fuel island was told nope go around if not getting tire pass so I went to the pilot
The one star is for the Carl's jr.to say it's bad service is a gross understatement. They just don't care about their customers.
Manager named Patty appeared to be on drugs or alcohol. Incoherent. Two cashiers couldn't ring up a simple candy bar purchase. Questionable hires
This is the first convenient station to purchase gasoline after leaving California on Interstate Route 40 East; along with the nearby Pilot travel center just up the road. In Los Angeles I buy or make sure I have just twelve gallons of expensive Cali gas. That's enough to get me here where I can fill up my tank at prices on average of 80 cents per gallon cheaper.
Disclaimer: don't try this unless you know your vehicle's miles-per-gallon well.
AVOID CARL'S JR! The Loves store is surprisingly good for such an extremely busy location. They really bust tail to try to keep up and it's definitely not easy. The reason the store got 3 stars is because of the Carl's Jr they associate with. RAW & UNDERCOOKED foods are what Carl's serves people. Visit the Loves.avoid Carl's.
Always full, always slow. Worthless low class, uneducated drivers that stay on fuel line while going to the restroom and no one does anything about it. What a dump.
Don't eat at the Carl's Junior there. Wife threw up for hours after eating there.
Only place we ate all day.
This is a great LOVE'S location. A fair amount of parking, clean and friendly staff.
There's two restaurants inside. Carl's jr. And Subway.
I've stopped here twice for Tire Pass. Both times I waited for over 30 minutes only to be ignored until I drove off. Here's an idea, if you're going to offer Tire Pass, have enough employees so that you can actually provide the service. Seems simple enough.
You would think with all this dead land around it, they would build a better bigger truck stop. Just goes to show that all they really want to get is your money before California does. They really don't care about truck parking!
