Old Town Tortilla Factory reviews
28Not good, especially for the price. I got the Pollo Margarita, which is tagged as a chef specialty and the chicken came out super dry and overcooked. My wife ordered the Mole Stack and it tasted burnt and basically the worst tasting dish we've experienced in all of Phoenix, AZ. Nice atmosphere, though, so that gets it a second star from me.
The food was fine but the service was a debacle. Nobody was rude but it took a full 30 minutes to take our order and then we waited well over an hour for it to come out. When it did there were a number of mistakes for a large group and came out at at staggered times. I suspect by the average rating that this place is ok but our large group’s experience was not.
Excellent food and service but expect a $90 tab for two with one drink. Pricey caters to the more affluent crowd it seems as the prices rwflect that
This place is awesome. Great food, great service, great atmosphere! Just do it. Had the Filer Mignon and it was great.
My guess and I, were Site seening we saw Tortilla factor and Decided to have dinner.
The waiter was very professional & Knowledgeable.
My guess and I were very please with the meals.
It would be so nice if the Waitress were wearing cheerful colors. That would be so inviting.
Thank you
Loved this place! Nice outdoor seating! Prompt service, friendly waitress, and the food was amazing!
First thing, service was awesome! Just made us feel at home! Tortillas are good. I had the Carne de Fuego, and it wasn't very good, too much honey and too little "fuego", the meat was overcooked. I would go just for drinks, because their atmosphere is awesome.
The stars are for the margaritas only. They were on the weak side, but plentiful and inexpensive. Next time I would opt for an upgraded tequila, of which they have many. The food was horrible. Its a "tortilla factory", but the nachos were made with cheap, bulk processed tortilla chips, and a cheese wiz type topping. Stick to just a basket of their homemade tortillas, which looked very good.
