My dog went missing and I found her on their website the same day she went missing. So i left voicemails so I can go pick her up the next day and I also set up and appointment. I went in and told me she left on a van to another shelter to be adopted but they called the van back and i got my puppy.i just did not like that they were all giving my dog away to another shelter. I thought they are supposed to hold in dogs for 3 days. It was literally less than 24 hours.

Called to report an injured stray was given a really hard time by the lady on the answering service or whatever because I couldn’t pinpoint the exact location I gave all the information I was able to give try being a little nicer to people

They did not disclose that the dog they gave me was irradically violent. He was so great but then would bite for now reason. Bit My granddaughter and me. Mine was a deep puncture wound in the chin. The refused to take her back.

Free shot clinic day for the visit. Volunteers and staff were great. They were busy but the wait wasn't terrible.

Rather disappointed. Contacted PACC 2 days ago regarding a neighbors inbred pitbull getting out and attacking my aged Red Heeler as we walk the street. This is the 4th time this same dog has attacked mine. Told an officer would be by to investigate. Right. My dog reviewed two puncture wound to his ritght ft leg. This is the 4th time the same dog has attacked w/o provocation. Very disappointed in PACC. This has to do with the animal control side of PACC, They have been out on a previous attack and action then I guess as there was no blood. I at least have pictures this time.

Their new facility is wonderful. The animals have so much more space than their previous cramped quarters. It's much better organized so you have a specific place to go for your specific need. Everyone working there was very helpful and kind to me.

I LOVE pima animal center. So many dogs! I was told 400 is avg. Go adopt! They help with the process and so many animals need a loving companion and good home.
Please donate your time and or adopt!

Everyone working here seems to really care about the animals they are helping. The only downside is sometimes an employee/volunteer is hard to find but are always happy to assist.

Great customer service very sad when dropping stray dogs off though. But they are great with dogs they have a 93% adoption rate which is awesome not only that they spayed and neuter the dogs before giving them out and they're just awesome they have a great group of volunteers there to who walk the dogs daily and volunteer their own time love them.

Amy girlfriend just adopted a dog. They told her that the dog only have diarrhea for a couple of days.she had to take her back due to blood in her throw up.she went down there and the dog has had diarrhea for 12 days. These people don't car about the dogs there the kennels are always dirty with dog pee and poop. It's a nice place yea, but they don't care.

You can tell the animals are well cared for at this facility. We needed to find a home for a cat and we definitely considered this place as an option if we couldn't rehome him ourselves. The cats here had lots of space. Some even had their own small rooms. I love that no matter what condition or illness or injury the animals have they are 100% cared for.

We have adopted 2 dogs from here. The first one didn’t get along with our other dogs. We really didn’t want to send her back to the shelter because she was a sweet dog and needed a great home. At the very last moment we found her a new home. She has been there over a year and is a perfect fit. Our second dog we still have. He has a lot of stress, but that has nothing to do with coming from the shelter. We literally adopted him as he came from surgery. He came into the shelter, went to surgery and straight to our arms. Pima works so hard to adopt animals out and not put them to sleep. They are amazing. The staff has ballast been helpful, friendly and supportive. Thank you!

The place has been rebuilt very nice. I just recently lost my dog and they received him four days later they took really good care of him and they waved the fees because I was broke. Thank you so much PACC.

I got my dog Frank 3 years ago from PACC. He was so scared of everything and had a severe case of separation anxiety. Fast forward to today, Frank is still scared of highly populated areas, but has made a complete transformation. He has been allowed to become his friendly, outgoing, playful and athletic self. Without PACC, Frank may never of had that opportunity!

The facility is really nice. You see many volunteers working and staff. Plenty of pets to choose from. A must see place to pick up your new family friend.

Always clean, the animal care workers are professional and friendly. Shelters are never terribly happy places, but this one us quite pleasant. The dogs and cats are actively being trained and worked with and it shows.

They don’t screen FELV for cats and that’s a huge issue for me. Thank god my cat didn’t catch it from one of the hundreds of UNTESTED cats in the shelter. I got told it’s because of too many false positives but my vet was able to confirm she didn’t have it in 15 minutes, I don’t buy your excuse PACC get a better one.

The new facility looks great and it is obvious that they are expanding which is wonderful to see. The staff was a bit inattentive when we adopted our kitten (handing her to us and then wandering off, leaving the cage with the remaining kittens in it wide open). Our kitten also came down with kennel cough almost immediately after she came home and they don’t test for FELv so be cautious. But otherwise, our kitten is now happy and healthy and the facility is organized and well maintained.
