Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, Phoenix AZ

Very very disappointing.from the outside it looks like a nice older resort, but once we walked past the fountain, it was bad.elevator was destroyed inside.panels missing, dirty, looked very unsafe.our room was nice, alittle dirty in spots, no microwave, but cute and exceptable, not resort quality, but exceptable.
The lazy river was nasty.empty drink cups everywhere, food floating, there was even a diaper in it.no staff anywhere.so sad.this use to be a nice place

Super disappointed to book what we thought was an amazing "resort" for a first ever family vacation this weekend, only to find out it was NOTHING like the pictures online. We were promised over the phone when booking that our room would walk out
to the poolbut when we arrived we were put in a room facing the backside of the hotel with no view at all. The room was so much smaller than we expected when it was supposed to sleep 6.our bedroom at home is bigger. We tried the pool at Northpointe first and were disgusted by the dirty water in the pool and gross lounge chairs covered in bird poop. The following morning we tried the Hole in the Wall for breakfast and we should have known something was off when there was only 2 other people eating in the entire place. The food and service was decent but WAY overpriced. We paid over $100 for a family of 5.not horrible except not worth the amount of food we got in return. Next we went to the River Ranch Water Park and my kids were so excited to swim but disappointment quickly set in when they found bandaids, hair, wood chips, leaves and bugs all over the pools. Everything looked so undermaintained.we arrived right at opening so why was everything so dirty? Definitely left this resort feeling dooped and will never revisit again.

Very disappointed with Hilton and mind you we have stayed in a lot of Hiltons and never felt disrespected with Diamond status. Questioned my credibility. For sure will not be recommending this place. Pools are gross and hot. It is a hole in a wall. The lazy river was
hot and not moving. The slide was not working. Used my Hilton points for the stay and for sure not worth for this hotel.

Best place ever! Thank you so much to the check in desk staffs, water park staffs hole on the wall restaurant staffs especially that older man that work at the Bar was so great and patient and kind with me and my 6 kids.

Room was nice. Nothing exciting about River Ranch. Lazy river and pool were filthy and full of debris. Wish they would have more staff to maintain the number of guests coming in.

Not what it use to be. Casitas no longer available. Hope they can eventually go back to their pre-COVID ways

Yes, the lazy river and pools are open in the winter time, it is PHOENIX, not Alaska! Being able to text room requests is very convenient. Our stay here for Christmas has been great, now on to Sedona!

We loved our stay and hope to come back next time we are in the area. We loved all of the pools and the water park. We wish we had more time to take advantage of all the amenities they had to offer.

Great location pretty good scenery unless you get a room facing the interior Courtyard and wall, which is what I had. Staff service was great, meetings facility very convenient.

The hotel grounds are nice. I was there for a work function. My room was a good size with separate living room area. Hotel staff was very friendly. I had problems getting into my room (user error) and there was a maintenance staff who noticed and jumped in to help without me asking. Would stay again.

It a very nice hotel with separate units and rooms at different buildings within the complex. It has a water park as well. Service is average and requires improvement. They have a decent size gym with lifting machines and weights as well as cardio machines. Prices are above average room price in comparison to other hotels in the area. I certainly recommend it.

The room, the location, the grounds, and the amenities are all nice enough, all clean, all perfectly acceptable, but I feel like nothing was truly exceptional.

Rooms are clean and very spacious. Immediately next door to their convention center, for the meeting rooms used in our business event. Very convenient!

Not a bad facility, but housekeeping stole a wallet and other staff did nothing to help. Very, very disappointed, I’d expect much more from a Hilton.

Nice amenities and fun water park. Drinks were a little weak and costly. The paper straws had an awful taste. Lazy river was awesome and breakfast buffet was delicious, good variety. Very friendly staff.

Old and run down. Lots of staining in the pool made it look dirty, plaster and lots of tiles missing. Broken umbrellas made it just look run down. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Just really old. Not worth the money and we would not stay there again.

A bit run down, but a great place to take the family. The waterpark is nice, small, so it can get crowded fast, but a good way to escape the Phoenix heat.

Had to go get and wait for lifeguard for slide, took an hour. Lazy river a little too lazy/slow - barely moving. Hot tub only luke warm. Nice room. Good restaurant.

It was a good quick weekend staycation however the resort is older, the pool water is grey and tiles all around the pool are falling off. Service is slow and check out front desk is NOT very nice. We paid about $400 and were not wowed:/

The rooms are very nice and clean. The semi water park area is a blast and family friendly except the inappropriately dressed children. I'm talking nothing but strings on kids that are barely teenage. There's a sign that is clearly posted to deter this but does nothing. Other than that the restaurant is great (get the artichoke dip its amazing). The normal pools are large and usually unoccupied. This place is definitely out of my price range but I got a deal so yea 10/10 would love to stay again
