Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, Phoenix AZ

So many different things to do. The lazy river, slides, kid's pools, miniature golf, scavenger hunts. A great family place.

Stayed a couple nights here. The family had a blast at River Ranch, their water park. It had a slide, the lazy river is a must and multiple pools through out. It got crowded around lunch time so pool side service took awhile. Our rooms were next to the water park so walking was not a problem. The room was spacious and a little dated. Over all our stay is a 4.

NEEDs to be updated. Pools are over packed with free loaders. One family gets a room then they bring the extended family.
We got a free breakfast. We went to that free breakfast and half the food wasn’t stocked it was a buffet with no food and hardly any choices. Save your money stay home or go to the wig-wam.drunk people everywhere.

Room was clean. Good cable channels.

This place is so beautiful. Great place for you and your family to come. It has great food, serveral pools and great water park for the kids. It is also a great place to come by yourself or with your significate other to enjoy the spa that is also on the property. Anyway you look at it, it is great for all around vacation. This place is a must when on a vacation in Phoenix, AZ.

Nice resort. The place was huge and a great place to stay for families. River Ranch is awesome! Staff was friendly and always asked if we needed anything while walking by guests. Great service and my family would definitely stay there again.

Love eating breakfast at Rico's. Some of the best breakfast buffet in town. Love the interior, very welcoming and relaxing.

Felt like staying in an old apartment complex. The room service menu was very limited. The pools were a lot smaller than the pictures.

Lazy river. Pools. A waterfall. And in central PHX. Good stuff for families. Was there a few years back. Went again this summer. Great mini staycation.

One star is too generous for this resort! This was the worst decision of the summer. Sadly, I brought my whole family to suffer the tragedy of having to stay here over the weekend. As a #hiltonhonors member, I am sorely disappointed to associate this resort with the Hilton resort chain. There are a myriad of things that went wrong. First, of all be prepared to be treated as a second class citizen upon check in if you book a room through a third party vendor like priceline or hotels.com. Hotel amenities will be limited because their ice machines, elevators, refrigerators and showers are sub-par or not in service. You will be forced to cart supplies around because surprise they will search your bags poolside to ensure you are only paying their inflated food and drink prices. Even sparkling water is offensive to their exclusive monopoly. Can I list one good thing? Sure they stock an extra roll of toilet paper. The fact of the matter is when you're running a multi-million dollar resort, associated with a top hotel chain, your customer service should be stellar, your rooms shouldn't be outdated and sub-functional, your facility should be in complete working condition and you really should do more to rectify a situation that's gone completely wrong and going to cost you a customer for life.

This place is not for me or my family. For the price and the villa is not too bad or has a semi private pool and plenty of parking, there is a laundry machine and coke machine next to the building so that's nice! There are a few places to eat on the property and it's a nice spot in the city. The place however is completely outdated. At least in the villa it was, I will never stay here again, I just didn't feel comfortable there "master bedroom" was soo tiny we had to put our luggage by the door and we couldn't go in and out of our door. I don't know, for me I can't be comfortable when it's outdated cause it just seems dirty.

Over priced and poorly maintained-at least the Agave suite wing we stayed at.
Food and drinks are also pricey and not particularly distinctive or savory.
The restaurant by the water park does make a rather remarkable White Sangria (with Moonshine) that pretty much cleansed the bitter taste of our weekend stay at this Hilton.
Not likely to recommend this one for a weekend getaway.

Had a first floor at Agave. It's supposed to have a pool with a bar but the bar was closed. Lazy river was ok.

We were disappointed with the resort. Rooms are old and need upgrades. The slide advertised online was unattended and could not be used without staff. Pool amenities such as the make shift cabanas were very overpriced (far more than the cost of the room). Unfortunately it was not what we expected from the website.

Pools were amazing. I believe they are salt water as my skin always felt great. Nice to have a bar by the main pool too and sometimes they have drink caddies that go around tkaonf your order and deliver it while your at the pool. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Only downside was an abundance of roaches. There was one in our room, one on the patio table while we were eating, a few outside the front door. I've never seen so many!
