At 4 pm on a Friday, I got a call from a scheduler to set up a time for me to come pick up my CPAP equipment. I explained I am wheelchair bound and would prefer the company deliver to my home in Maricopa. She asked me how I get to my appointments, rather than offering an option. This woman was more concerned with telling me what my co-pay would be. She was rude and argumentative. I asked to speak to a manager. She told me I could leave my name and number. No wonder this outfit gets 1.4 stars. They’re clueless regarding customer service.

My mother recently passed, and this company randomly shows up to get the equipment my mother was using without scheduling an appointment, the person picking up the equipment was rude, filthy, would not wear a mask in the house and did nothing to ensure safety or cleanliness inside my mother's home. And then, did not provide a receipt for the equipment they picked up.
Now, the company is giving me the run around with trying to get a receipt for the equipment my mother's insurance paid for, while they are reselling the equipment for a profit.

DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tried to get a walker; it took calling 1-2 times a day for FIVE days only to be told on day 5 that they “don’t service central Phoenix”! Why on earth did they not tell me that day #1? Now I must start all over. #%€¥#*!

Negative stars! I called to order a blood pressure monitoring cuff in Dec 2019 to monitor my blood pressure for my high risk pregnancy and it’s Feb 2020 and I never received it, they are located in phx and so I am so there’s no excuses for this, she called me to ask what size and said if i didn’t get it in 2 weeks to call? Why would it take 2 days even? It’s an hour away

I was on hold for 45 min and then they hung up on me i was trying to get 4 wheel walker as i have trouble walking.it.took over a week and had trouble getting the doctor to fill out the paper work right.when it finally got approved. I called to get it delivered. They told me if i had the money to pay 4.89.they made me feel as i was a bum and could not afford to get anything she. Had trouble putting the information.
I am sorry that i asked 5 stars as i did get the machine

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR! I GOT FIRED FOR. MISSING 2 DAYS OF WORK DUE TO MY SON BEING SICK; WITH DOCUMENTATION THAT THEY DIDNT WANT TO SEE! THIS COMPANY CARES NOTHING FOR ITS EMPLOYEES OR CUSTOMERS!

I must fall in line with the other single star reviews. The overall staff and phone order department just sucks. I would recommend that you find another service. The over management is very poor.

I can’t get service for my oxygen or breathing machine. They keep losing checks and billing me for multiple months.

Needed to swap a wheelchair. The first chair we received was ridiculously large. Got the run-around when trying to swap. "No chairs available. " "Need a doctor's prescription. " Like to talk, not much listening, though. After calling on Mar 26th, we found they thought we were trying to order a wheelchair, not swapping. Initial contact on Mar 14th, doctor prescribed Mar 16th. Delivery was scheduled for today (Mar 28th) between 8am-1pm. Claim they showed at 930. I was on the couch watching "The Americans" and never heard a knock nor a doorbell nor saw anyone with a wheelchair pass my front window. Was finally given the option to do this ourselves at their location. Drove to Preferred Home care. Charlie helped us out and, really, he was the only one who salvaged any type of positive rating for this place.

It is now Monday and I have been calling and getting rude and unprofessional reps at preferred homecare since last week. My insurance sent notification a pre-auth had definitely been sent for needed respiratory equipment last week by fax. Twice. Each preferred employee said it did not exist. I’m a senior and having acute asthmatic, flu distress. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and condescendedly as I have from this company; in fact, as an advocate for others, I have had some very good experiences years ago with this company. This lackadaisical treatment is disappointing to say the least. Today I spoke to a supervisor who was at least honest with me. Yes, I’m not crazy! My pre-auths have been there all the time. I HAD been blown off. She apologized for the bad treatment I received and took responsibility. I deeply appreciated that.

I believe this company has hired people without taking the time to train them or have lost their interest in humanity to such a point maybe they should consider getting out of the business. Their reviews I just noticed are not good. They may have the market with state healthcare and feel they don’t have to any longer care about customers. What I do know is their CEO should get out of his chair, along with supervisors under him and do a little detective work as to how customers are really being treated on the phone, as the buck stops with him. This is too dangerous a time medically wise with deadly flu etc spreading, to let a need for a breathing machine be blown off by employees.all the while sick, young, old and vulnerable clients could die waiting for equipment. Step up! Preferred Homecare! Are your employees rude because they are not being treated fairly or paid insufficiently? You should be caring your reviews are so bad. I implore you and your company executives to do your job.and for the sake of those who are too weak to speak up for themselves I pray others in families and communities advocate for them.

My son was given a small volume nebulizer for his primary care doctor and the doctors office used this company for the part and now im receiving a monthly bill.called the company and they stated that i rented the machine from them and i can return it. WTH rented the machine it was given to be from the pharmacy and i paid the co-pay for it.what a waste of time.

This place is of the devil! My daughter is paraplegic she needs her wheel chair. They kept giving us the run around. I was told the parts are in, and it should be a few days until there done and my daughter will be able to move around again. Well it's been three months! And they have not received any parts and are waiting on the parts" I was very upset and requested a supervisor and was put on hold for 30 Minutes. I called from another phone and spoke to the same female and asked her why she has me on hold but can answer other calls. She told me look I didn't put your daughter in the chair God did and hung up on me. I am so sorry for my baby that she has to suffer. And for these people to be so crule and unhuman hurts. I pray that something happens (New Owner's) soon so people can get the help they need. I wouldn't even give this company 1 star they treat your family and mine like how they would not like to be treated.

Worst company ever, they have had my chair for one whole month so far. For a simple caster repair. No follow up or updates.the worst part is they know I don't fit in my restroom with the loaner provided. They don't care that my shoulder is about to give out. I'd recommend going elsewhere. I will send the my bill if my shoulder gets worst.

This company has become totally malfeasance, they went from a good company to an extremely poor company and just a matter of a few years.

I use oxygen supplies on a daily basis and have an option generator I have tubing for that generator such as nasal cannulas that this company cannot and will not deliver in a proper manner.

This company has screwed up my order multiple times and a one week.

They have sent me a double order of supplies and none of those supplies are what I had ordered there exactly opposite.

They are most likely billing the insurance company for this malfeasance!

Their operators and their oxygen supply or incompetent, and extremely rude!

This Company can care less about your life!

Worst ever! I just got a call from a collection agency as they said my bill that originated in 2013 hadn't been paid. They sent it to the wrong address!
I was told it was never returned to them and here it is 2016 and almost 2017! I paid the bill in full over the phone just a day ago but no one can tell you how this can happen and why no one called me prior to find out. They actually had my phone number!
You can't make this stuff up.

Preferred would not supply an oxygen concentrator for us to relocate even though insurance would pay for it. The reasoning was "they have been burned before" by people not returning them. Phone calls went unreturned.
