Rio Salado Park reviews
41I rode my bicycle from 68th Street and Indian School to Tempe Town Park Lake great ride great fireworks!
So beautiful and very wheelchair and dog friendly. Busy place and watch out for skateboarder's flying past you. Everyone was super friendly. I had a great time.
Anything/Everything; It All Goes Down At This Local Hot Spot. However, Would Suggest That Some Service Cameras Or Security Be Part Of The Next Makeover. Perfectly Adjacent To Many Shops, Eateries, Pubs & Clubs.
I always love coming here just to walk around and enjoy the scenery. I be usually bring my small dogs, they enjoy it and never any issues. Lots to do on the lake as well as around the lake. Nice place for picnics.
Excellent runner's loop with all that future forward skyscraper glass of tech row along the canal and the rowers making for great scenery.
Beautiful spot for a walk, skating, or biking. Great place to take your kids. They have a really nice playground.
Been here before to have a picnic and enjoy the day with the family. This Saturday it seemed that every trash can was filled to the gills. Not another article of trash would fit. As a result, especially as the day was windy, garbage was blowing all over the ground.
Such a relaxing park! Just the right level of things to do v.doing nothing if you don't want. Definitely recommend.
The transformation from a nearly dried out river bottom to this is magnificent. Its good for the whole family!
The park is awesome! It has cool structures that are very fun and that I have never seen before for kids teens and even adults! I would recommend coming on the weekends!
This place is great! One of the few spots left in the area where there is a large place nearby to spend time hiking right in the city.
Scenic sunset point and beautiful river front. You should reach there 30 -60 minutes before sunset. After sunset you can take stroll on the bridge, it has blue lights on it. There are multiple places to sit around river front. There are also options for fishing.
There were tons of dead fish along the bank of the river/lake. I have no idea why. Don't bring kids here unless you want to explain death. Seeing so many dead fish, I would not fish here. I'm not eating sick fish.
Just went to Aloha Festival 2018 there and it was awesome.but before that there was some killer concerts there which was totally Kool, wish they would have more concerts there.food is pricey but the place is Stoke.so take a step out of ur comfort zone and come out and play n have seen fun.
We have been going to this park for more than 20 years & besides the lack of parking, we have enjoyed a lot of great times at many events here.
Pics of playground are NOT this park! It's called Riverview Park 10 min drive away. Rio Salado park is for adult to bike or walk not really for kids playground
Riding bikes by this Tempe Town Lake after performing for children at Tempe Center for the Arts with Childsplay is the way I wish to live the rest of my life.
If you like hanging out with the homeless, then this is YOUR PARK INDEED. Any body in their right mind dose not go to this park
I'm really excited to tell people about this hidden diamond that's nesseled right in the middle of everything. Tempe is a very busy city in the middle of the afternoon or at eight o'clock in the evening it is a definite must see.
