26Worst company ever, agents talk to you how ever they want too. Hang up on you, they have no customer service skills. Even after speaking to the manager they are careless, I cant wait until I can switch to a different insurance, I regret so much paying the whole six months. I had safeway for over a year everything was good, but god forbid you get into an accident thats when you really find out what your paying for. Service is horrible in every way!
Absolutely DONOT get this insurance, their response time is horrible, their claim workers DONOT do their job. Ive been making payments on a car I haven’t driven since October of 2019 all because they don’t give me the information I need to complete my GAP insurance, so nothing is happening and I’m stuck now. I pray no one gets into an accident under Safeway insurance.
I'm upset and angry because when you first remove a vehicle and add a new one they tell you how much you going to be paying and all of the sudden they charge you way more of what they told you at the beginning! I wish they where more communicate with that! It's upsetting when you have automatic payments and they just take wherever they want from your from your account!
Had spoken with 2 different people one was (Omar) he doesn't care about you, he just helps you get your money "ONLY IF" you ask for it. The other is the "adjuster" who tells you i can give you (x) amount, what's your address so we can get the car. And when you ask questions they literally say I can't answer that.if you want to, Call (Omar). I'm just quoting you what I can give you, I have no other information for you. Do not go with this insurance company they'll take your money cause they Know in Arizona we "NEED" insurance but they're not something you should have if you just bought a car. They're a liability insurance company only. I wish I could give ZERO Stars
Never a problem. Customer service is super helpful. I just wish they had actual agents instead having to deal with a broker everytime.
As a health practitioner we see personal injury patients all the time and deal with all the major insurance carriers. Safeway Auto Insurance is by far one of the worse insurance carriers you can have If you or someone you love has insurance with these guys, do yourself a favor and find someone else! Dont wait until you are involved in an accident to find out that saving $4 dollars a month wasnt worth it.
Tammy Rodgers in Pheonix area claims was unprofessional and rude! Your driver hit my car and this is the way to treat someone. I’m still waiting in a call back from your answering machine that says you’re going to be gone (a month ago) so unprofessional. I guess I’ll be waiting until she decides to do her job!
My vehicle was totaled buy one of their insured and have yet to see a single dollar yet and it has been over 6 months and my car is not worth hiring a lawyer in this matter
I recently had my car hit while it was parked on October 2nd I filed a claim got a call the next day and the person who I talk too on the phone said she will give me a call "if they find the car" who hit me. Even though I had their license plate number and pictures.it's almost been 3 weeks and I yet to receive a call as soon as this claim is done I'm switching insurance. Poor excuse of insurance they're frauds.
This Insurance company has the worst customer service over the phone and also in person in my experience. If your dealing with people on a daily learn some respect for your consumer.

When they do answer phone calls you’ll get some rude uneducated girl that won’t answer any of your questions regarding your account.

I was in an accident in March 2017. I was deemed not at fault for the accident but the good ppl at Safeway * sarcasm * put that I was at fault for the accident despite the accident report saying otherwise. This explains why my insurance rates have been so freaking high. I'm currently waiting for a call back so they can send me a letter of experience. I'm hoping this doesn't take forever
Worst customer service experience you will find. 12 different ways to take a payment from you.but no one accountable or available to provide the service due. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE demand higher service for your money.
I filed a claim because one of there drivers rear ended me and got arrested for dui this company did nothing to help me I had to constantly call and kept getting the run around and when they finally gave me an offer for my vehicle it was 1/4 the price I still owed all I wanted was them to pay what was owed this company is a scam and a bunch of crooks in suits.
0 STARS. HORRIBLE Customer service! I have called the person in charge of my claim, Rosario for the past two weeks and NO answer I have left voicemails and no one has called back
I have called four times the claims representative and left four voice mail messages, and the representative, Alisa Madrid has not call back once.
The next step is to go to the Arizona Insurance Department and file a complaint.

This is for the Claims Department. Tammy Rodgers was very rude and unprofessional. Was thinking of switching to Safeway but after dealing with her, no thank you. Someone has to train these people to treat people how they want to be treated.
Terrible customer service.one of their insureds had hit my daughter's car. It's like pulling teeth to get a response. From the claims adjuster to the claims supervisor, no response. Had to go to the Property Damage Appraisal group to obtain a copy of the estimate.
Worst company ever. I am glad I have never had a policy with them. It has been 4 months since their client rearended me and took fault of the accident and I still have not received anything meanwhile my truck is not drivable. The case manager never answers her phone and NEVER returns my calls. It has easily been over a month since I talked to her last and as a matter of fact she was as rude as she could be.
The worst insurance I’ve ever had.they do NOT cover what they say they will and customer service is VERY rude! Regardless of the cost IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
