San Cierra Apartments, Chandler AZ

I really appreciate Cori the manager.out of the almost 4 years of being here. I had about 4 different property managers and 3 different cast in the office. I know it's rough dealing with different personalities and coworkers, but Cori really a great person in and out. I can feel her engery and effort to make this complex better for the residents. I would say one thing bad. She does need a steady crew that'll work with her. I have Witness with my own eyes that she even gets out there and help keep the property up herself. Now if you see the leader out doing. You know she deserves a better cast of support. That's just my honest opinion

I feel bad for giving 1 star.

This place was great to be honest. Loved my stay of over a year and the entire team was great. But after I left the apartment, they sent a bill for $464. Out of it $134 was utilities for over a month which is fine but the remaining amount was for paint, ozone, carpet cleaning. The apartment was very well maintained and cleaned we left everything in great condition except the normal wear. Every apartment complex has the rule of cleaning the unit and making it ready for the next tenant. But at San Cierra I guess it is the responsibility of the tenant which is what makes me give it 1 star. $330 is not much but the problem is to falsely charging that 'routine making unit ready for next tenant' from the previous tenant. I had already paid a heavy lease cancellation fee (2 months worth of rent) but I guess Alliance Residential only wants to steal more money out of your pocket.

Everyone was helpful when moving in during the pandemic. So far so good:) the place was clean when I got there and the surrounding area was also clean.

I lived here for a year, overall it's a good place to live. Office staff was always friendly and maintenance requests were always responded to and completed very quickly. The apartments are nice, definitely high quality furnishings and appliances. The complex is pretty and well taken care of. The pools are stunning!

My main complaints would be the landscaping crew tends to blow dust onto the patios when they are cleaning the paths. If you live on the first floor you will have to sweep your patio often. The mandatory $25/month for valet trash is absurd and unnecessary. Also beware, the rent price you are quoted doesn't include the roughly $100 in fees you are charged every month.

I moved in back in Sept, living here @SanCierra is amazing with some cool amenities like YOGA and an awesome full gym with a sauna. The office staff and maintenance crew is also amazing, they are very attentive of any concerns if or when I have any. Thank you for making it feel like home.

Everybody here has been so amazing! Kia, at the front desk, made our moving an absolute breeze. Seriously was the most stress-free move I have ever experienced! The views to the pool are absolutely stunning, though we haven't been able to enjoy them due to COVID-19. The only complaint I have with the community is the dog poop scattered throughout the entire community. Literally on every single patch of grass. That has nothing to say about the maintenance crew but everything to say about the dog owners themselves. If you cant pick up after our own dog, simply don't own one. Everybody thinks its gross picking it up, myself included, but have a little more respect for where you live.

I will be writing a full review later today as I am a previous tenant who lived here for two years. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place to live. Yes, not every place is perfect and the apartments are cute; however, there are many issues with the way this property is run as well as issues for the move out situation.

EDIT 4.7.2020: After a week of communicating with San Cierra, I’m happy to say that my issues have been resolved. My concerns were related to move out costs that I found to be unfair due to various circumstances. After receiving contact from them inquiring about my concerns, they were quick to look into the issues and were understanding of my frustrations. They removed the fee which I’m very appreciative of.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at San Cierra and loved my apartment the whole time. The staff were friendly and accommodating; however, I feel like I’ve seen some turnover in the past two years that has caused communication issues between residents like myself, staff, and maintenance. The maintenance team were always pretty quick to resolve any issues I had and were super friendly and respectful. My neighbors, which I feel like can make or break a living situation, we’re the best neighbors I’ve ever had. Everyone is super friendly and overall, quiet which I loved. Though, I lived facing the roads and not any playgrounds or pools.

In general if I had not chosen to move into a home, I would have continued living in San Cierra for a thing year, maybe more and I’m confident I would have enjoyed it!

Employees constantly leaving. It is now at a skeleton staffing. Gates wide-open. One attempted kidnapping of a child. See channel 12 news. Maintenance staff weeks behind on work orders. The grounds a nightmare. Avoid this place

This place is HORRIBLE! If you are even thinking about moving into this complex. Let that thought leave your mind. I can go on and on but everyone else have pretty much said enough. And San Cierra do not send me a response that you would like to talk to me about my concerns. You are only trying to show the public you are concerned. WE BOTH KNOW YOU WILL NOT CORRECT ANYTHING.

Great staff, close to everything you could possibly imagine and a lovely place to call home!

I’ve been here at the complex for almost a year and I haven’t had any issues! When I first moved in they did have other office staff who were ok, but now we have Kristina and Jull along with some others that are great as well. But just the other day I went into the office and they were so so helpful and gave me some advice about my recent apartment search (since I’m downgrading) and they were just super nice, down to earth and they are always understanding! Thank u ladies so much, u guys rock!

These apartments are quite beautiful and the young lady that gave me the tour was very helpful and kind.

RENTER BEWARE! DO NOT RENT HERE! This place is entirely rediculous! I don't even know where to begin with all of the issues! This place used to be great, but once Ellie left the front office, everything fell to pieces.

Maintenance will smoke just outside your apartment, leaving the wine place smell (god forbid you have a child with asthma).

Tenants constantly fill the community with the smell of Marijuana.

Maintenance is entirely unprofessional and unskilled. They mark maintenance requests complete without even stepping into your apartment, and, even if they do, they will either do nothing, or tell you they will fix it another time, without ever returning - even if you make an appointment.

The office staff is unfriendly and also unskilled/uninformed. Most tasks, they will say require the property manager, but the property manager must be a fan of The Wizard of OZ, because she remains entirely unseen or unavailable, and works the most unaccessible hours. She, even when you FINALLY get a hold of her, she will be very rude, and afraid with you immediately.

Parking here is a joke. There is far too little parking for the occupants, and when people park in your assigned parking spot, the office will do nothing to help you. So, basically, parking is a free-for-all. And, if course, this is all happening whenever they are not repaving/repainting the lot, impeding traffic.

At least half of the amenities are always down at one point, and the same goes for the gas grills.

On top of all that, while living here, rent has gone up at least $100 each year (that's almost 10%/yr)!

We were model tenants, and they have done nothing but screw us over at every turn. We are sad to see this place become the hell hole that it is today, but we have to leave this place, and the day cannot come too soon!

Don't move here I been here for almost 6 months they always hit you up with extra fees don't do it

Everyday I say thank God. Thank God I don't live here. I live across the street and everyday I here people in their ghetto bass cars, people piling up because they're waiting to drive in the out gate because they don't have a code, little groups of people that race, parties, sketchy people doing sketchy things. Gotta be the most ghetto place I've seen in a while down here in Chandler

I’ve lived here for a while and never had a problem. Maintenance has always been quick with work orders, and I actually read my lease before signing so I don’t blame the staff for things that i signed up for. Hilda in the office is helpful when I stop by. Some of these reviews are very unfair. I love it here, it’s quiet and i love it

NOT AS EXPECTED! After reading most of the reviews, I came to this place prepared for what I had coming to me. I have toured and looked into pricing and locations around the area to make sure I don't have a long commute to work. I do my due diligence to make sure I have all my questions answered to avoid any surprises. As I walked in the front office I was comforted to be greeted by a very nice young lady whom seemed to be very knowledgeable of the property and their policies. This seems to be a very busy location being off of Arizona Avenue. I did notice the phone ring quite a bit but the full attention was on me thankfully. I decided to tour here as well and absolutely loved the layout and space of their 2-bedroom. Their amenities were also appealing and fully functional. Maybe they've been upgrading and I have come at a good time. I got a chance to greet their assistant manager and he was very courteous as well. I felt quite reassured to meet a very understanding staff. Not sure what the case has been in the past with everything people have to say about the staff, but I sure have had no issues thus far and it was made clear that they really do their best to clear up any complications. All the paperwork has been handled smoothly and I make sure to bring in exactly what they ask for. I am really looking forward to living here! It's a perfect location for me and the community seems peaceful despite being on Arizona Avenue. I would definitely recommend giving this place a look!

This doesn't seem like a very nice place to live at all. They do not keep up with the maintenance and they also have BLACK MOLD, so if anybody else is having that problem I think more people should speak up.

Loving the staff here. They are super sweet and understanding. I love this place and cannot speak highly enough of the community in general. Clean and inviting.

I have been here for three years. The staff are all great. It is the most dog friendly community around! Maintenance sometimes shows up the same day!
