Scottsdale Links Resort reviews
33Beautiful! I pretty big pool, a play structure and a few other outdoor activities. There is also a private airport close by so it's pretty cool to see the planes although they do get pretty close and noisy sometimes.
Overall stay was good. The suite was stuck in the 90s with 720P TV, original appliances, WiFi was weak and phone signal was iffy. Pool and Spa were great. Our particular suite/apt was clean but if we stay here again I would definitely request updated unit. Don't recommend unit #111.
Facts, No internet connection at all, terrible wifi. No water pressure in the shower. Feels outdated. Great pools! Great hot tubs! Great fire pit! Fun activities outside! Next to an airport. Appreciate the customer service!
Love is an art and today we celebrate love with each and every one of you. Happy Valentine’s Day.this was just prefect! Not what I expected. Beautiful workers. Love this place
Resort was very nice. Units and property kept extremely clean. Employees were polite and professional. The three star rating is the resort in in the takeoff and landing of the Scottsdale airport. It was like vacationing on a runway. Also, beware the resort hits you will a 20.00 plus charge per day for wifi, pool, etc, all things that should be included in the exchange. I am even a Diamond owner.
Amazing room, heated pool and play ground and space for kids! We have 3 boys and we were able to have tons of space in our rooms and play outside and in the pool in December.it was amazing. Definitely recommend for families. We'll be back for sure
It has a nice pool & cabanas but the units need a few upgrades. The TV's don't have many choices & are fuzzy not clear. Some furniture & the toaster in our unit needed updated! Unless you are on the bottom floor you will have many stairs! NO restaurant or bar on site.
Very nice and we'll maintained. Staff were very welcoming and attentive to any needs we had. Restrictions due to the pandemic limited some activities that are normally available for guests.
This resort is a part of the Diamond Resorts. While it’s listed as a 3 star accommodation, I think perhaps that is a function of the randomness of the way the US rates lodging. The challenge is that in the US, there is not yet a true concept of Service Apartments and how to integrate them in the paradigm of hotels. As such, if this were to be compared with service apartments globally, I would say it’s 4 stars. In the category of 4 star service apartments I would give it full marks.
Cleanliness. Given it’s 2021, I’m putting this item first. The service apartment was very clean. Towels were in good condition and they have a little sign under the bed indicating they clean underneath. That said, I did see a very small piece of lint there. But it’s cleaner than under my bed in my apartment.
Bedrooms. I found the pillows, sheets, and mattress to be adequate. The sheets were comfy, I’d guess 400 thread count vs like a high end hotel. They use a two sheet in duvet cover method. I like that because it means it’s a lot easier to clean (in a good way). Sheets are very white, so you can quickly see any stains. I saw none on mine.
Kitchen. The do have a basic assortment of pots, pans, and cutlery & knives. They did not have any spices including no salt and pepper. Many of the other Diamond Resorts as well as many Airbnb’s & Service apartments give you a small one. They do give you coffee and you can go to the front desk for more coffee if desired. They do offer a sugar and sweet and low. No stevia or Splenda. There is powdered coffee mate. The fridge has an ice maker. It is a full size kitchen, though it has limited cupboards. Fine if you’re simply staying the week.
Bathrooms. We were in a 2 bedroom/2 bath. The master bath has a soaking tub. The hall way bath has a normal tub. Both are very clean. Sink and counter space is quite large. Plenty of towels are provided.
Size of apartment. If I had to guess, the 2 bed is likely right around 1100 feet including the patio. The master is a good size. The second bedroom has a queen and opens out to the patio. The living area also opens out to a patio. The sofa does fold out to a bed, but it’s a smaller sitting sofa. We were 2 people, so it was perfect. If you are trying to Max this out with 8 people, you might find it cramped. I’d say 2 couples would be fine here. The dining table seats 6 and is quite spacious.
WiFi. I’ll post the speed test image. Download speeds were 6.09 and 0.93. That said, both of us were working online in jobs that require constant internet and it was fine. Between the two of us, we maxed out the WiFi limit on devices of 10. That said, the way Diamond resorts work is that the WiFi will sense if you’re not directly pulling and bump you off. The resort should upgrade this because a) 5G is coming and b) if it would like to attract people that make a higher income it will need to have solid WiFi. Right now the trend is remote work and that provides an opportunity I think too many of the Diamond resorts are not conceptualizing. That said, for us, during their 1 week of lower season, it was fine. Given that speed test result, I would likely have a back up plan if you are more in fields like media or marketing and have quite large files to upload and download.
Amenities. I didn’t get to use them, but they looked nice. The fitness room is currently closed for COVID-19.
Location. I liked the location. You’re about a 5 minute drive to the shopping areas for grocery and other needs. You are 3 miles from a beautiful Gateway McDowell trail. The sidewalk is fine for jogging there. Sunset will have better views than sunrise. In these cool winter months, you can fit folks can jog the 5k over there and jog back. There are def people that bike over there as well. Would be cool if the office offered bikes for people to use to get there.
Other. Mask is required at the main lobby. They had lots of alcohol available for hand sanitation.
We had a two bedroom. Very spacious. All pools are in one area, so may have to walk. Separate adult pool and hot tub. Easy check-in.
Really nice place to spend the week.depending on what building you are in.nice and quiet.not by the pool.
Couldn't be more pleased with our 2 bedroom. It's affordable, it's clean, perfect for work, good wifi. Brought my mom with us on a business trip and it was insanely perfect. It has pots and pans and dishes and dishsoap and is so spacious!
I love the warmth of the staff and their very nice accommodation to me and my husband. My husband also said that he likes the design of the building, very modern and stylish. Had a great time during our 3-day stay here.
I love the design of the building. There was resort security riding in golf cart had offered to help me if I needed any help. He was very pleasent and nice. I had sat at the Ramada to read my book when I noticed the beautiful green surroundings around me. Above my head was ceiling fan running at fast mode. It felt great. I love it there quite and peaceful. I had enjoyed my visit there.
Amazing service, spotlessly clean, many amenities for singles and families alike. Highly recommend.
Beautiful property, the staff that I came in contact was very nice. We were in the 3 bedroom condo and it was very nice. The bedding was entirely too comfortable! My only complaint was the knats that kept flying around the sink and bathtub. Oh and the parking isn't great. The 3 bdrm sleeps 8 people but you all better come in on one car because the spaces fill up fast!
I made a reservation and they came through with 5 stars. This is a very nice resort and family friendly place. It's nice staying here for a week.
Room was filthy. Paint was falling off on patio. Burn marks on kitchen counter. Bed was comfortable.
Very nice clean resort. The pool was well maintenanced, staff was friendly, and rooms were neat and clean.
Great experience for our first time at this type of resort. Staff was helpful and responded very quickly when we needed something. Will definitely visit again.
