Sonora Quest Laboratories reviews
28 I love this place the first time I went! Office or loby is huge and beautiful!
Place were super pleasent in general and they attend me in less than 10 min! But would have been perfect if they made me waite, because place and sitting was comfortable and beautiful! My best experience ever, in one of this places!
Staff are friendly and nice and tend to your needs and make friendly conversation abosolutely love this place 10/10
Horrible location. The receptionist looks like a damn drag Queen and pronounced my last name wrong on purpose. Word of advice when you work in a professional setting, blonde may not be the best choice especially when it's not complementing your tone. Who raised YOU?
I cant speak to the negative reviews as that does not reflect my experience. I was here about 7: 15 am and upon arrival I saw at least 15 people ahead of me which, to be honest, made me feel like I would be here for an eternity. This was not the case. These were a combo of walk-ins and appointments with additional appointments arriving after me who were rightfully served prior to me as they had made an appointment. End result is 20 people ahead of me and they were cooking through patients extremely fast. I was in and out like a midnight jewel thief. 30 minutes in and out. The gentlemen taking my blood put the needle in to where I didn't even feel it. 10/10 would recommend.
We took our infant here to draw blood and even though we had an order from our pediatrician we still waited for over half an hour. When I went to the front desk and asked how long the wait is, the receptionist said 30 to 40 minutes. I wanted to confirmSo I asked “the waiting time Is 30 to 40 minutes? ” And She looked up And stared at me saying very slowly “ 30 to 40 minutes”. She was very impatient with my question and the way she answered me was very rude.
When it was our turn, another receptionist gave us a heat pack to warm up our babies foot. My husband wasn’t sure how to do it so he went to ask, but He was only told that “just put on the foot! ” It was not until later when our baby’s blood was being drawn and that foot was not warm enough, we realized that we were not warming it up correctly. So our baby had to be needled twice to get enough blood.
When we left I told that receptionist that
She should have told us how to do it. She refused to take responsibility and she just yelled at me “it’s not my fault! ”
Definitely the worst experience ever and will never go back again.
I always set an appointment and have always gotten in to get labs within 10 mins. I love this location.
I hate this place, the wait is way to long for getting blood drawn, and you dont even communicate with you and some of them are rude. They don't seem to really care!
I cant even find a way to talk to a person about what kind of appointment to schedule for the tests I need. I’ve also been to an office before and waited hours to see anyone. If there was anywhere else to go that took my insurance I would be there.
I was ill. My MD ordered blood work. My Insurance only contacts with Sonora. I made an appointment and went in. An assistant told me they would not do the blood work until I paid 110 dollars. I asked what for? She pulled a bill from 10 years ago that a prior Insurance Company, Humana, did not pay. They sent it to Collections. I offered to pay half and she slammed the bill on the desk and kept tapping the 110 dollars. She said I had to pay 110 the bill AND Collectors. So now I have no way to get tested using my United Ins because they are the only Lab that contracts with my Doctor. I will probably land in the hospital. I never got a bill from 10 years ago. I put my new mailing address in with the post office when I moved. Don’t go to Sonora at Banner in Mesa if you don’t have to. See if your Insurance has another Blood testing place, not Sonora. You could drop dead on their floor and wouldn’t care. They are not getting half now. They are getting 0.
The staff here are among the friendliest people you'll ever encounter. My 30-minute wait time was reasonable considering I was a walk-in, and they were very busy. The waiting area and the entire facility was clean, neat, and tidy. The phlebotomist had me in and out in under 10 minutes once it was my turn. It was a truly fun and painless experience.
I'm in and out fast everyone is really nice. I have never had problems. Make a online appointment it works!
Very satisfied. If you have an appointment it will be a live saver. The service was prompt, lab clean and staff was very friendly
I made an appointment online Sunday night for Monday at 2: 30. I arrived at 2: 16 and was finished by 2: 45! Great service & very friendly staff. I read bad reviews earlier so was expecting a bad experience but was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the prompt & professional service.
Waited an hour for a simple blood test. I inquired how much longer the wait was and they indicated 20-30 min. 1.5 hour wait for a simple blood test, not acceptable.
Stacy was extremely rude. I asked a simple question and she scoffed and told me take a card. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but her behavior was uncalled for.
Holy cow. THE ABSOLUTE WORST place. How the people behind the counter go home at night with a clear conscious is beyond me. The way they talk down to and disgrace patients literally had me fuming. Even my Dr office said, "oh yeah, that lab is terrible". Go anywhere besides here.
I personally find the receptionists rude pretty much every time I go, and they never look busy which is weird because you cannot get one on the phone. Not because the phone is busy, there is no option. The real staff drawing samples seem disappointed in them. Make an appointment, otherwise have an average hour of a wait.
So it's 4: 47, the two people who signed in after me have already been called, and, oh yeah. I HAD A 4: 30 APPOINTMENT! Completely inept in all regards!
Location not very easy to find. If you are coming from the light off Dobson road, you'll see Banner Desert. There's a parking garage on the left side, you want to park in there, second level. There's a set of doors behind the elevators on that garage level and you want to go in there and then you'll see the SQL office. There's no outside signage to indicate the lab. The building "Desert Medical Pavilions" is the only signage outside and it's very difficult to see. Otherwise, my experience was good. Make an appointment! You might have a small wait, but it's better than not having one. I had a 9am appt and they called me back within 15 mins of my appt time.
Walked in at 3: 30pm didn’t get seen until 4: 58pm. They take all appointments first then you. I suggest if you don’t have an appointment find another lab.
