Southwest Airlines reviews
24I am really mad currently at Southwest but I will be fair that my past experiences were good. We just boarded a plane recently and just after were told that our connecting flight was canceled. Not just ours but many people aboard destinations. We were given a minute to get off but our luggage would be continuing on to it's destination. We were left with no luggage and no reimbursement for our overnight stay and car rental. Meanwhile no other airlines were canceling flights to the same destinations. Southwest you knew you would be canceling those flights. Why did you let us board? I think you wanted us not to find alternative airlines.
It's an Fing joke. 2 free checked bags if they ever make it to your destination. Also very bad customer service. Just using my credits there and never flying again with them
Workers at Southwest are incredible as usual. Always smiling and going the extra distance. The flight attendants took care of everyone, made the flight that much more enjoyable.
Thank you!
Terrible! They seem to have misplaced my luggage and they also violated my bags so much they broke some of my barber equipment. Probably from throwing everyone's bags around. Shameful!
Thank you Southwest, so sorry you have to fly in to that pathetic SLC Airport.
My flight was comfortable & staff were friendly.
Southwest is the best to fly with in my opinion the staff has always been the most friendliest, has the most comfortable seats. Southwest knows how to get it done.
Can't say enough about Southwest Airlines. SWA is my primary and depending on destination, like Iceland, the competition comes into play.
I have flown SWA for over 40 years. They are always on time and the staff is great.
Had a great tailwind coming from SAN to PHX, arriving 25 minutes early - then PHX to SDF, arriving 45 minutes early. Wonderful.
Southwest Air has been and always will be my favorite air travel. Keep up the great work and thank you.
One thing I hate about Southwest Airlines is that even though I purchase Business Select, I am like the 40th person to board because of the extended families which get on first. Flight attendants as always, were terrific. The plane got in late from the original flight got in late, so the passengers who were staying on for the next leg couldnt get off to have lunch. The pilot went and bought over 30 sandwhiches for those passengers and brought them on board. That is incredible customer service.
Excellent service. From baggage to check in was like clockwork. Special thanks to Jason the ABQ station chief. Kudos for an outstanding staff.
Southwest is not without its problems, however they still out do the competition. They take care of their customers hands down.
Southwest is by far the best airline I have ever flown! I will choose them over any other airline to get to my destinations! Clean planes, hilarious flight attendants, comfortable seats, lots of room for storage and bags, and very efficient airlines! I'll definitely be flying Southwest again soon! Thank you!
I understand why people use other airlines if they travel where Southwest is not popular. But if you're on the west coast and do nothing but travel west coast (and more locations, just using west coast as an example) then I have no clue why you don't fly Southwest. No bag fees which are great when I travel with tools. No cancellation fees when I have customers cancel last minute. No change fees when I want to get an earlier flight out. Yes you don't get assigned seating, and traveling with friends/family for that reason can be difficult, but it will be okay if you don't sit next to them for 2 hours. I promise. You can meet other people. Southwest treats me very well and I am sure they will do the same for you. Traveling is about conveniences, Southwest knows convenient.
They provide the best flying experience of all the airlines. The employees are just as nice as can be and keep you up to date when there are delays.
Their phone support is second to none. We only fly SWA now.
Southwest is one of the better airlines I have ever had the privilege of flying with free carry on made my life so much easier on this particular trip. Also offering free drinks is one of the nice little touches that seems to be going away on other airlines.
I got to tour the Southwest Airlines maintenance hanger with a group of retirees. It was a fantastic tour and the stories the longtime SWA employee told us were riveting.
Friendly Southwest staff. At gate D I didn't see a place to buy a newspaper and shopping and food options are very limited. There are not enough stations to sit and charge electronics. If the D area is busy it would be crowded with not enough seating.
Southwest, TSA-Pre in Arizona was really nice, the longest i think it took me to get from road side to gate was 5-6 minutes.
The employees who work at the physical office of Southwest baggage claim services here in Phoenix are deplorably rude and have no concepts of customer service. There were two ladies working October 8th 2017 at 6: 30pm at night and when I walked in to their small office and the attendant could be heard screaming at her customer prior to even entering. The attendant yelled and offered no answers to our question (presumably because she does not care or does not have patience to deal with customers). If she would have let me within two feet of her I would have caught her name but she was too busy shushing us and over-amplifying her voice. I wish there was actual ramifications for her actions. Terrible customer service
They try to be entertaining throughout the flight, which can make the flight a little more pleasant than most airlines.
The only airways with free check-in luggage. Well mannered crew. We travel mostly in SW n recommend SW.
