Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry, Avondale AZ

We love coming here. My daughter has been coming here for a 1.5 year now & we wouldn’t change to another pediatric office. The staff is friendly, respectful & very welcoming, as well as the dentists.

My son is a new patient. I’m so grateful, I found this office. All the staff, doctors and assistants are friendly. You feel comfortable walking into the office. They keep you updated and recommended what is best for your child. They’ve gained a patient for life. I highly recommend them.

Recently had a horrible experience at another dentist and when we got recommended to this dentist we were practically desperate. Anything was better than the other one. We came and the doctors and staff were amazing very kind and would make jokes to help the kids relax. Very good experience overall.

Medical offices like this one are the reason why our healthcare system is broken! They quoted us $3,200 for our sons procedure, I paid $800 up front out of pocket. They then billed BOTH of his insurances for $4,500 and sent me a bill for another $1,500. The EOB's suggest they did fillings on 17 surfaces, he only needed 6 in the quote a month prior! These are 5yo baby teeth we're talking about, gonna fall out in a year or two.

Further, when we called to discuss the billing, we left messages and were never called back.we had to call them multiple times before we could get some answers. The "new" amount we "owe" is $900. Which is it? Why does it keep changing? Why is it still so much? Did you really perform the services you billed for, or do we have a fraud going on here?

Also, they don't tell you until a week before the procedure, but their anesthesiologist doesn't accept insurance, they want that up front. Seems kinda crooked don't ya think? They told me I HAD to be there in PERSON 24 hours prior to procedure to pay for (and sign for) anesthesia and my deductible. I could NOT do it over the phone. I had to take off work to do this. I show up called the number, after being hung up on 3 times, they took my payment over the phone and told me I didn't even have to come to the office to do it. They gave me nothing to sign, which means I missed work for nothing.

Last, My son was scheduled for the procedure he had to fast for, they told my wife they were 15min behind and she had to wait in the parking lot. No problem, understandable, common SOP these days. She waited for over an hour and had to call THEM to see what was going on. They said "oh ya, you can come in now". Waited in the lobby for another 45. Poor little guy had nothing to eat or drink for 21hrs.

I'm sure they'll give some generic "due to covid" bad business scape goat for all this. I'll just pay the crooks and never use them again for my 3 kids. These Dr's may be absolutely amazing, but their administrative staff has no concern for the patients. They're just processing numbers, right or wrong, they're gonna get what THEY decide you owe. Besides, it's not their money right!?

All three of my kids go here. The staff is always friendly and timely. I always have a good experience from the front staff to the techs to the doctors.

The last 3 times I have been here we have had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. When the lobby was open it wasn't too bad because they had kids movies playing, but that kind of wait in your vehicle is unbearable for young children. Also, they aren't answering phones anymore even though there are 6 people at the front desk. I left a voice-mail to set up an appointment and no one called me back, but I received 2 reminder calls for the same appointment. Disorganized and Lack of communication within the past 2 years I would say something drastically changed.

Waited 30 minutes just to be seen from scheduled appointment time. Orthodontist didn’t give off a good vibe and was somewhat rude. Did not explain much and was not very helpful. Going to get a second opinion or just have another office do what needs to be done.

Everything is okay there. I hate that there is never any close parking, I always have to wait no less than an hour, and they just seemed over packed with patients.

They have amazing staff. If u need to reschedule or ur late they will work with u. Very clean place.

It's a nice office. Everyone was very nice. I do have to add, they took FOREVER! After my son's cleaning we waited for an hour just so the Doctor could give us a few words. Again everyone was very nice but the wait was ridiculous!

Wow, wow, wow! This was my first time taking my kids to the dentist so I researched several places before deciding to pick Sun Valley and let me to you, what a gem it is! From the front staff to the dentist assistants to the doctors.they were all fantastic and really exemplified great customer service. They made my kids feel comfortable - they left smiling from ear to ear! I highly recommend Carla and Dr. B to anyone looking for a dentist for your children. They are hands down AWESOME.

We are very pleased that we found Sun Valley Pediatric Dentistry. It’s been two years that our granddaughter has been going there. The office staff are always very professional and thorough not to mention friendly; as well as the doctors. So far we haven’t had any issues and hope to make this our long term dentistry.

I have been bringing my 2 children here for the past 2-3 years and haven't had one complaint or concern! They're great with my kids!

Staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. The dentist are great very friendly and gentle. They are always very informative and helpful with any questions.

My son was a long term patient here.over 5 years. We have moved to another practice now after several bad experiences and an office policy I just could not tolerate. The new dentist showed me how previous work completed at this office was not done well and I will have to pay out of pocket to have the work corrected. Please spare your child what mine had to go through - take them somewhere else.

My son has been going to this dental practice since he got his first couple of baby teeth. They have been wonderful and attentive to my little guy during his visit.

Fast appointments. The entire team from the front desk through the back office including Dr. Judd who comes weekly for orthodontics are all happy, thorough, client centered, relaxed, helpful, and really know and love the kids that they serve. The dentist's are honest and truly care about the best interest of your child. My kids went to the Gilbert office for ten years and we've moved out west so are new to this location but the staff is equally awesome. Love SVPD

All staff, dentist, & anesthesiologist are super friendly. I had had bad experiences with 2 completely different dental offices. I decided to give this one a try and so I took in my 3 and 4 year old. My 3 year old needed further treatment. They did an amazing job with her. Very professional and understanding. They know how to calm and work with children. Will be taking my baby as well. Very very pleased. I really recommend them

I love these dentist clinic all staff are Super! Nice and, Courteous you feel very welcomed! Highly recommend them so wish I could’ve brought my children here to get there dental services. I am now raising my Teo grandchildren and very blessed to have them come to Sun Valley Dentistry if you want for your children to get the BEST service bring them here above 5 Rating clean sanitized place!
