The Cortesian Apartments, Scottsdale AZ

I recently called to inquire about available units and leasing options since my partner and I are considering a move to the Scottsdale area. The representative I spoke with, Samantha, was both helpful and professional. My experience with the front office has put Cortesian at the top of my list of potential apartments and I plan to schedule an in-person visit soon.

We was helped today by Savannah. She helped us over and beyond from helping guide us through the computer with the application process to paying attention to my 2 year old son. She was so nice and friendly. I recommend to anyone looking for a place they need to talk to Savannah. She is the absolute best around.

We had a great experience living at the Cortesian. Well maintained and super friendly staff. Thank you to Samantha and Ionian for seamless transitions from a single bedroom to a townhouse. They made the process for moving out very clear and worked with us every step of the way; no issues start to finish. Thank you!

I’ve been contemplating moving into the area for some time now. I found the Cortisen online and spoke with Marissa on the phone. She was extremely nice and so knowledgeable. I love that there are so many great outdoor areas. Definitely a top contender! Thanks Marissa!

Most, friendly & efficient leasing staff I have ever encountered!
Since day one, the ladies in the leasing office have gone above & beyond and exceeded my exceptions!

The grounds are beautiful. The staff is great. Nice quiet complex. Happy so far with our experience. The pool area is beautiful with a relaxing environment.

This apartment complex is very fair for the price. If you are looking for a lot of space without having to pay too much, this is a great place to look into.

Too many maintenance issues. Frustrated with management. This community really sucks. It doesn't even worth 1 rating (0.5/5). They don't show you the exact house you move in. I have issues with online portal, Carpet, Cockroaches, Doors, Sink. Will not recommend to anyone.

I have been here since July and overall a good experience. Staff are friendly, maintenance is quick when ever needed. The only downside is fitness center and laundry facilities could use an upgrade. The apartment complex is currently under renovations so I hope these places are on the list of improvements.

Just moved in about a month ago and we love how close we are to the entertainment district and the mall. The staff have been helpful throughout the entire moving and application process. The gym is very nice, very clean and appealing. They have events for the residents like a food truck and various options.
The problems here is just the unnecessary decor and items in the neighbors patio and front doors, just looks tacky and junky. Also the washer and dryer, they need more of them. There are more people than there are washer and dryers, I would recommend getting a renovated unit with it installed.
The parking situation is hectic, they need more parking spots for visitors and it sucks to park far from home when someone you live with has a car also because you get one parking spot.
Overall, this is a really nice place to live. 10/10

Haven't been a resident for long but thus far we are fully enjoying our stay here at the cortesian.

I have lived here going on 1 year in December. I love my home and my community. The Staff is amazing. I rented my apartment sight unseen and was very happy with the apartment. I have recommended this location to many people. I told my grandchildren I may buy a house and they to me to stay in this apartment because they like it a lot. So I'll put off buying a house.

The staff here are wonderful, l have lived here at the Cortesians for a long time, love the improvements, but what I love the most is there compassion and giving you the feeling we are family, thank you Christine and thank you to the rest of the staff!

I've lived in Cortesian for almost 2 years now and we've had our ups and downs, but majority of our experience was really great! A lot of people complain about the work orders and stuff, but honestly that happens at EVERY complex. I have friends that live down the street and pay almost twice as much as I do and they have the same issues but worst. I really do think this complex is a great deal especially since they are actively renovating the community all the time. Anytime we've had an issue if we went into the office, they made a point to go out of their way and fix it and if it wasn't fixed it was mostly our fault since we didn't answer our phones or weren't proactive enough. Also, the they offer so many great floor plans, it's super walkable to downtown Scottsdale, and even though my bedroom is right in front of a pool, I literally hear nothing! These are honestly pretty sound apartments and the management team in the office is super friendly and helpful! You just need to make the effort to actually go into the office to speak to them! We've been super happy about our experience here, especially for the price we've paid in rent! If you ever have any major issues, you can definitely count on the community manager Dawn to resolve it too! A lot of friends of mine have lived here over the past 8 years at one point or another and all of us have been content with our experience. I would definitely recommend giving this community a shot, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I had a package delivered to the front office. I have a receipt from FedEx that the package was delivered but their front office staff claims they never got the package and refuses to pay me for the package. They are rude and unprofessional to deal with.

Built a new pool.no hot tub!

Yall need to do something about how frequently the card payment machine for the washers/dryers. 90% of the time it says network issues. Either go with a different company or put in a coin machine. Would have never moved in to an apartment with no washer dryer had I known I would need to have bags of quarters on me at all times. Seriously sucks

This got to be the worst place to live in my whole time in AZ bunch of scam artists.the front office are the rudest people. They gave us the worst apartment and the dirtiest carpet and when we moved out they charged us for a carpet replacement.trust me do not live here is the worst idea because you will hate it

Laundry machines have consistently not worked since Oct 2016 - and they make up lies about the issue with the construction and modem. Dog poop everywhere - never cleaned up. Horrible customer service! Constant break downs - AC, stove, bathroom. Bedbugs & termites! Do not move in here!

Best staff ever, always friendly and willing to help.property is always clean and quiet. Love it here.

I have enjoyed the my time here at the Cortesian. The apartments are old but their making improvements all the time. The new pools looks great. I wish we had our mail box for Fedex because we received packages all the time. I hope to see new improvements soon.
