I do not recommend this clinic. I had blood work done for a neuter procedure that I didn't receive a full cost estimate for and I show up day of surgery expecting something around $200 dollars only to be quoted approximately $700 for the procedure. I would never agree to that!

1. Dogs under 7 years old do not have to have blood work

2. They base their rates on blood work, if the doctor requests it the rate goes up.

Not a good clinic, they're just about billing you! I do not recommend their services. Office manager has a poor attitude no apologies for her staff not properly quoting me! Rude, unprofessional and take you for all your money type of business. Try Topaz or Tempe Lake Vet!

Update: I spoke to krista the office manager the day of.she didn't even apologize on that call for not providing me with accurate information and informing the customer. If they cared, they would have called me back to say "we're refunding you for the blood work you paid for since we didn't advise you of the full cost for services. " These empty responses to save face for terrible business practices are what's wrong with our society. Anything to make a buck.customer service is dead and gone. I don't recommend them, there are better vet clinics geared at helping customers and their animals to stay healthy. This corporate machine is a con job.

Friendly staff. Interactions over the phone for your pets well being is pretty difficult. Unhappy that despite having multiple full color advertisements for their animal care packages, no printouts for medications, treatments or test results.

I am very disappointed with them this time. I brought my cat in, throwing up and not eating. I was told they didn't know what was wrong and suggested xrays immediately. I held off and opted for anti nausea meds and fluids. I took him back for the xrays later because he seemed to get better and then back to not eating. Xrays were inconclusive and they didn't see anything so they suggested ultrasounds and possibly surgery. Something made me want to hold off. I opted for more fluids until they had an expert look at the xrays. They called me back late the next day wanting more xrays. I called Friday and asked about what I could do to keep him fed until we could come in on Tuesday (long weekend) and was told the vet wasn't in yet, and they would call back. I called 2 more times that day and never got a response. The next day at noon, I got a message that said they were calling about the cat and immediately went in to me contacting them to get the xrays done - nothing about how to keep him alive until then.
I got upset and called another vet. That vet told me to bring Roger in asap. They asked a lot more questions, gave me medicine and sent us home. My cat is classed as a medium hair and the issue was hairballs. 2 days on the meds and he is 100%.
No one at this place asked about that at all. A cat hospital that doesn't consider hairballs. They were so interested in getting as much money as they could get, they were willing to sacrifice my cat's health. I won't be back and am telling others not to go here.

We bring our cat here and they're wonderful! Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. If it's your first time, I recommend bringing any paperwork that was provided to you about your pet. It made it much easier for them to service our pet. They do offer boarding and they have a variety of pet foods and treats for sale as well.

UPDATE 1/29/2020: I feel obligated to edit my review. I don’t know what’s changed in the past few months but I had an appointment yesterday and was so wholly dissatisfied I feel that I have to update. I knew we were going to be a few minutes late so I called to let the staff know I’d be late. The office was closed so I left a VM. At 8: 10, as I was pulling in the parking lot, I got a call that my appointment was cancelled because I was late. I was literally parking my car so I came in. The receptionist told me they’d already sent a supervisor back to see if I’d be allowed my appointment. I asked what the late policy was and mentioned that I’d called and she said they don’t have one. When you work in a field that has unpredictable elements, how could you not have a grace period for latecomers? I was allowed an appointment but asked for our paperwork at the end of my appointment so I can take my pets somewhere else. I was angry that no one had bothered to call me as soon as my voicemail was received to tell me there’s no coming to an appointment late, after I’d already arrived and put my pet in distress. I hope at some point they consider adding a grace period for those who are late, especially when they give the courtesy of calling.

Back in 2008 I brought my dog in for treatment, and did not want to purchase the medication that they forced on me. The office manager asked me not to come back. Today in 2020 I called for an appoint for a dog that I had found that was in bad shape. After I had made the appoint they transferred me to the office manager. She said that I was not welcome and should not return for treatment on the dog that I was trying to help. That is okay I will NEVER return to any of your locations. I was able to find excellent care for the dog at Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic.

This location provided amazing customer service. Had an appointment for my cat and ended up 15 minutes later. When I arrived I was told I was late and would have to wait unless the vet was available; she was. I was taken to a room where the vet and assistant looked at my cat and performed treatment. The rooms are nicely sized, table for small animals. Rooms are very clean and did not smell. Very grateful for the customer service at this location and will be visiting again.

Took my 10 old pup there to have a wound checked out. The staff was very good with my crazy puppy. The vet Dr Leslie, i was not impressed with. Having past experience as a vet tech i know to ask to fill my own prescriptions. Prices are much cheaper if you fill your own. $35 for 5 pills. At fry's pharmacy i paid $2.36. Won't be taking my dog back there.

One of the only places I trust with DeeDee! They are so focused on her and making sure she is healthy. They have gotten me same day appointments whenever needed. I completely trust them with Dee and all of her needs. Also shout out to whoever works the front desk. They are ALWAYS so sweet and friendly! They also keep a very tidy lobby. 10/10 recommend

I have been taking my cats here for nearly 5 years and I couldn't be happier. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Appointments can be set up via phone or online, which is incredibly convenient. I have seen a few different vets over the years and they are all supportive and patient-focused. They gladly answer all of my questions and offer suggestions when my concerns are more behavioral than physical. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my cats' care.

Dr. Lucy and Dr. Westhoff (sp?) have taken excellent care of our family pets for over 10 years. Tried City has taken care of our pets for at least 25 years. We have had dogs and cats and both have been treated careful, respectfully and lovingly.

Can't recommend enough.

The person who took my phone call was friendly and knowledgeable about pricing. Better yet, I didn't end up paying anymore than I was quoted! Everyone we saw today was compassionate. I was given options on a treatment plan, not forced into paying more than was immediately necessary. We will be back! I feel like my cats are in very safe and caring hands here.

We had a great experience with Dr. Westhof and her tech Hannah! Our dog needed to be sedated to get his teeth cleaning, which we were extremely nervous about our dog going under anesthesia. Hannah patiently addressed all our concerns and even sent us updated information throughout the treatment. We are so appreciative of this team and the care they provided for our dog!

Its May 6,9pm right now. How was I just booked an online appointment for May 6,11am? Currently confused on whether or not I actually have an appointment tomorrow because of this fluke in the system. ***Update*** The IT issue sorted it's self out after a few minutes and the manager was professional, nice, and genuinely concerned about the issue. Staff was awesome and I'll definitely come back

We adopted our dogs from our daughter when she moved. We had no vet that we had ever used. I found them online and after the first visit found our permanent veterinarian. The staff and doctors are the best.
