VCA Tri City Animal Hospital and Acacia Cat Hospital, Tempe AZ

The people here are really great. They are so sweet and patient with both my dogs, even the grumpy one that doesn't like other people.

I really, really like the doctors and staff here and I wish I could give them 5 stars, but they have totally bungled things lately. We're going out of town and we wanted to get our new puppy spayed beforehand, with enough time that she could heal while under our care still. Our appointment for her check up was rescheduled to an hour earlier and I didn't find out until I was on my way for the original time. Apparently they called my boyfriend wanting to know why he had missed his appointment that he hadn't confirmed or even heard about. Well we forgived the mistake and rescheduled for the following week, even though I had already left work early that day. Then, the day before the spay, we got another call saying they needed to reschedule again. When we asked what day it would be rescheduled for, they couldn't even tell us at that time. I had to completely switch around my work day for the original day, and I couldn't switch around another day on a moment's notice. This was one really bad experience out of mostly good experiences, so I leave this review with a heavy heart.

The receptionists could be a bit friendlier but the doctors and techs have always been great with my crazy cats.

Great experience today with all of the staff. My cat was very scared and upset and the team made sure to take it slow and talk about the different options we had. I really felt like part of the conversation on what treatment made the most sense for my cat and I. I also wasn't pushed into doing any procedure or buying anything I didn't feel was necessary. Happy and relaxed knowing my cat now has a great go to vet for her needs with a friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!

I have been visited this hospital for 12 years. I would highly recommend to anyone who cares about their dogs and wants the best care for their dogs.

Dr. Lucey and Dr. Westhof are very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are very good veterinarians. They consistently provide the best care for my dog. They always follow up with me to make sure my dog is getting better when my dog is sick. They often tell me what the best option is for my dog.

All of my questions were answered, they addressed my concerns - called me back to make sure all was well. Dr. Lucey is well informed and easy to talk to, forthcoming. Nice office staff also!

Staff is always friendly. Office is very clean & welcoming. Highly recommended. Been taking my dog here for years.

Just brought in a stray cat to see if it had a microchip. The staff was friendly and not only did they give me a free crate to transport the cat in, they also gave me free food to feed the cat. What more can you ask for?

Today was our first visit with our new dog Hope. The receptionist was very welcoming and catered to our dogs needs. The nurse was phenomenal and explained everything. The dog was very nice as well and helpful. So thankful we found a good place to bring our furbaby.

Today I had to put down my dog that I've had since he was 6 weeks old. For the last 13 years that dog has been by my side and been through everything with me the good and the bad, so needless to say I was pretty attached to him and it was not easy for me by no means. The staff at Tri City was great I would recommend them to anybody in a similar situation like me. It can't be easy to see a grown man cry but they handled it with class and were very nice.

I would give them a negative 10 stars if I could. I found a hurt puppy made an appointment they told me to use the free coupon online I get there and they tell me no because I've been go one before. They wasted my time and obviously done really care about animals.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff that truly cares about your fur babies. Appointments are quick, but thorough. They have discount days for vaccines which is great when you ate on a budget.

Had to bring in a feral cat I've been feeding for a few years until recently when her health declined so badly that she couldn't hardly get around. They did an amazing job of making her comfortable as well as me. We're more than kind and helpful as well as supportive. The vet assistant when above and beyond and I regret not getting her name to mention her personally. But non the less thank you for your the kindness you showed us today. You do great work

The staff is absolutely amazing and really cares about not only the dog but the human client as well. They played with my dog most of the time we waited and nothing seemed forced in the examining room. My dog was super comfortable and thought she was just getting belly rubs the whole time the doctor was examining her. Not only all of that, but we were in and out pretty quickly. I felt like they made us a priority and I loved it. Definitely going back!

We feel we are lucky to have found VCA Tri City Animal Hospital and their super friendly, kind, caring staff. They have helped me with my new puppy from shots to neutering, gland issues, and recent illnesses with knowledgeable compassionate care and kindness.
