The German Shepherd puppy we bought and the whole litter was put in a bad foster home and they got parvo. Sadly we had to put down our puppy. And I know that not only my family was effected.by the way a 12 year old wrote this so please no rude comments

Adopting a rescue can be a bit of an anxious experience. We were so happy and pleased to have been able to adopt our new Baby here. It was a quick no stress experience. Our new puppy is so smart, intelligent and a riot to watch. She came packed with personality! Quality clean happy animals. The mission to place these animals is a passion here.

Poor costumer Severus I called at 1: 19 pm and I asked if they had dogs and HE! Was very sarcastic and rude! And he said: what did it say on my website like aghh!

This business cares only about money. Our puppy was incredibly feeble, and malnourished when we got him, he could barely walk and had food issues like he hadn’t eaten in weeks. Justin the owner was clearly high on marijuana when we came in and said he was having a bad day, I later learned that this is his everyday state.

He represented the dog as an Aussie/Lab mix and as he’s now 6 months old he’s undoubtedly a Great Pyrenees (a large, ranch guard dog) not suited to our living situation at all. This has caused immense trauma to us and our dog.

When we E-mailed Justin to let him know the situation he immediately resorted to intensely aggressive insults and accusations. He aggressively insulted us, lied to us, contradicted himself over and over and denied everything despite me having all the written proof in paper and e-mails.

Justin has shown no integrity or love for dogs. Only anger, depression and greed. I’ve never dealt with this level of unprofessionalism before.

This place is not a rescue it's a place were they buy and sell puppys for a big profit they need to change the name. 1love dog store

Please heed all of the reviews on this ‘rescue. ’ Unfortunately it is not what the owner portrays it to be. Notice the way he responds to the negative reviews - do you really want to work with and put your trust in someone who threatens, harasses, plays the victim, and takes no responsibility? I don’t know the other people who’ve spoken up on here but I see we have some shared experiences. We aren’t making them up. Learn from someone who did it the hard way - don’t fall for his stories, please.

I adopted Rags (formerly known as Marley) almost four years ago and I still recall the exceptional experience. Justin was understanding and kind, not showing the dog to anyone else till I could make the trip from Sonoma County. The process was easy and I left with the balance of his deworming medication and a date to have him neutered (though I didn’t go back to Placer County and had it done locally). The fees were comparable to most rescues that I had checked out. If I ever decide to adopt another dog I would definitely return to “1love”.

I just wanted to leave this review to say thank you to 1 Love Dog Rescue! I adopted 2 chihuahua pugs (chugs) almost 3 years ago from 1 Love. My dogs are the light of my life and one of the best decisions I've ever made. My dogs are both so well behaved and have been since I brought them in to my home. Because of your willingness to rescue my little chihuahuas from Fresno both there lives and mine are much better.

My husband and I just adopted a rescue dog from 1 Love Dog Rescue. We were very impressed with Justin and his obvious love for dogs. If anyone is looking for a worthy cause for a donation, this is the one!
Justin- Don't ever change a thing. Continue the work you do, doing so much good for so many. The world needs more people like you. Thank you for everything.

Justin did a great job helping us at all steps of the adoption of Belvedere (now Oliver).
He has kept us inform and he kept in touch with us making sure Oliver was doing well.
Now Oliver is almost 6 month old and he is doing great.
Thank you for saving the life of hundreds of dog who would hav been euthanized if you were not taking them under your management.

We were so happy to adopt two husky puppies from Justin into our forever home. The process was very easy and the puppies are wonderful.

We adopted from 1lovedogrescue this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Justin was professional and responded quickly to my call and email. He was friendly during the adoption and answered all of our questions. He even followed up to check in and make sure everything was going well. Thank you Justin. Pixie is a joy to our family.

My daughter got a rescue dog from 1love. The dog is great! Works out with her and her husband and is very friendly to everyone! 1love was always on top of the adoption process making sure everything was taken care of. The owner's passion for dogs shows in everything he does for the dogs and the new owners.

There are way too many newborn puppies for adoption on this site. This is a puppy mill disguising as a rescue. Disgusting! And after reading all of the owner responses, I'm pretty sure he's mentally unstable.

I'm so happy some of you got great dogs and sad others were duped. I was looking into rescuing a shepherd but after reading the extremely rude and unprofessional responses from Justin, the owner, I have decided to look elsewhere. Justin may I ask why you are so defensive? If your rescue is legit then those comments shouldn't phase you.

I have been searching for months for a companion for our 12 year old Poodle Mix. While I have yet to find a new family member, I have hope after speaking with Justin. I have had several negative experiences with other rescues and frankly was ready to give up.
Justin took the time to talk to me and he treated me with kindness. I can't wait to see what the future holds and hope to be bringing a new little friend home soon.

Unprofessional business. Owner responds to negative reviews and comments in a hostile and rude way. Appears to get multiple young purebred poorly bred puppies in batches of litters, as if they obtain said dogs from puppy mills. Then turns them over for a high price. Sketchy business and I would look further into them before "adopting" here.

We’ve gotten two dogs from 1 love. We got a boxer two years ago and a labradoodle this spring. We couldn’t be happier! Both dogs were healthy and happy and continue to be to this day. Justin was very responsive and caring about both our dogs and wanted to make sure they were going to a good home. We highly recommend 1 love and the work that’s being done.

Couldn’t be happier with our experience with 1 Love. The owner was very helpful and our sweet Charlotte is a joyful, healthy member of our family. They do incredible work for animals and I recommend them highly.
