34They don't care about cleaning specially if you go at night, totally messy every where, locker room, shower room, pool area, restroom, their cleaning crew doesn't work well, people sleep in sauna and around the pool area, is unbelievable managment despite the brand new building and all decorating scene around that
I’ve never been to this gym a seen more than five working treadmills. When things break, they stay that way for months. I’m conducting my business at Athletic Society as soon as my membership expires. It’s better options in the Woodland Hills/West Hills area. I hope corporate is looking at this.
I had a 3day free trial pass and they wouldn’t let me go in because I had a NY ID and not a CA ID. I go to school in NY and come back to CA frequently.the day before another worker had let me in. Very dumb rules. Not using this gym when I move back.
I was in this club two years ago. It was very clean. Now is the horror. Very dirty. The temperature thermostat is broken in the sauna. The sauna is very dirty. Everyone comes in shoes. There is a very small stream of water in the taps, the club management closed the water, they save money. Boxes for clothes are very dirty. I will never return to this club. I do not recommend anyone
Clean facilities, nice equipment that is taken care of, and friendly staff. The parking could be better, however it's not that bad. You can pay to park in front, valet, or park in the structure and the first 2 hours is free.
Wow! You would THINK that it being a new gym that it would be awesome. Think not. So dirty I wanted to gag!
I'v never been happy with their customer service, unreasonable charges on my credit card, I had to call them 5 times to refund me extra charges.
The staff is very friendly. I recently sat down with one of the managers Chris. Chris is very polite and professional and articulate. The staff works very hard to make sure guests have towels. Quite a job when about 3000 members walk in daily!
Nice gym, nice location, nice community, nice staff, the entire experience is nice. Careful with the parking, once summer is over you will need to validate your parking with 24 hour fitness
Not even peak/rush hour at this 24hr and it's like playing Easter hunt already with the dumbbells! People rack your weights! Didn't see one employee at least picking up around the gym. On to the search for the next 24.
Two separate occasions I got really sick after visiting this gym. I was told i caught a bacterial infection common in gyms. Go figure. Clean your mats. This is why people are will to pay for equinox. They have a cleaning staff.
Can get a little crowded during peak times so just make sure you avoid those lol. They recently added weightlifting platforms which is nice. Full size basketball court, plenty of equipment strength and cardio. Overall solid 24 as long as you avoid peak times.
I want to love this gym but it is genuinely quite dirty. The equipment isn't the worst of it; the floors, water fountains, locker rooms, and hot tub will leave a bad taste in your mouth. A large selection of equipment, the excellent outdoor crossfit/TRX/turf area, and the convenient hours make up for the grungy facilities, which I just try not to look at. The desk staff is always very friendly as I come and go as well.
Patrons are very messy here and don't return equipment. Every morning, the dumbbell rack is barely half full, with the dumbbells nowhere to be seen. And the staff are unprofessional, playing loud music with swear words in the lobby and talking about other patrons after they leave.
The Local Gym spot. The main Gym area is on the third floor, with a beautiful view of Topanga and the Village Mall. There is also a full Pool, Spa, and steam room.
The trainers are great, although a bit overpriced. Make sure to sign up for your training at the same time as you sign up for the gym so you get the lower price.
The walk from the parking lot sucks, but the gym itself is great, clean, staffed with friendly faces.
Do not park your bikes near this craphole. My nephew had 2 bikes stolen at this while he was in the gym. Staff could not care less says it's not their problem. IT IS YOUR PROBLEM!
IT'S AN INSIDE JOB.
STAY AWAY!
Disgusting locker room & shower & spa litter with dirty towels piked sky high, shaving hairs through out the showers, needed to get disenfected after using.
Good: Clean, one of the newer 24 fitness gyms in the area. Towels always on hand, most equipment is in good working order.
Bad: Parking limited, it can get crowded beginning of the week.
Never been to a gym where they make it impossible to be a guest. You are ruining potential customers experience by denying them access to experience the gym on a trail basis. All because my ID has an address of over 20 miles away? Because I chose to get my mail somewhere where but live in winnetka? And said I can PAY 25$ for the DAY? When the actual membership is 40-45$ a MONTH? That’s ridiculous. So if I had decided to pay for the day and then decided I wanted a membership I’d have to pay AGAIN? Geez. And to think I was actually considering getting a membership here. OH WELL. I’ll take money else where.
