AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

We have brought in a vast array of cars new and old with reoccurring problems. For each of them the workers diagnosed the problems for only what they were and didn't not ever attempt to sell us on other problems that were unrelated. They fixed the issues for far cheaper than other mechanics. Fantastic, no B. S, diagnosing and repairing.

They did my transmission and sensors they cause a major leak in 2 spots and cross threaded my oil pressure sensor. When asked they said they wouldn't fix their mistake and almost destroyed my truck ive taken to other aamcos and they wouldn't fix it due to the this aamco not being willing to fix the leak in the first place. By far the worst experience and has costed me 10,000.00 to almost have it fixed back to normal. I would give negative stars if it was an option. If you value your vehicle, time, and money go elsewhere.

5 Stars for sure. My truck was stuck in 1st gear and took it to a local transmission shop. After 5 days, no luck with a fix. Called AAMCO and spoke with Joe, He almost diagnosed the problem over the phone, said bring it in. The next day he called my. It was a simple electrical issue which he fixed for me. Made my day, he said on the house. Any other transmission shop could have used this opportunity to fake more work. I appreciate Joe's honesty and hes a friendly guy too. Ill recommend this shop on Coloma Sunrise to other people. Thanks Joe.

Me and my daughter came in with her RV and didn't know what was wrong. Joe and Tyler and the team were spent many hours diagnosing the problem and fixing it in a timely and cost efficient manner we had to come back for another problem as well and they were able to get that fixed promptly too so A-1 team over there at aamco in rancho Cordova. Joe has picked a good staff they know what they're doing they get it done efficiently and at a good price highly recommend them to anybody and we'll be further getting more work done on my other vehicles with them as well.

They have got one of the best if not the best, team of mechanics around! Total professionals is an understatement. I love that warm fuzzy feeling I get when I know my vehicle is being worked on by someone who knows what they're doing. Bert, Joe, Mike.all top shelf individuals! God bless you all!

This location saved me on my roadtrip from la to Oregon. Although they were very busy they were able to efficiently and effectively find the parts and replace the drivetrain on my truck within a few hours! Can't say I had the same experience at other AAMCO locations. Mike and Steve were super helpful and very friendly and I would drive way out of my way to be serviced by these kind folk again. 10/10

Finding a good mechanic is always a scary prospect, because we all have horror stories to tell from the past. After moving back to California, I was quite reluctant to take my Dads word about Aamco. I now bring my car to the Aamco family. They consistently work hard to ensure I understand what’s going on with my car. They also offer alternatives when I need them. What I now know is the Aamco / Cava family is more than fair or generous. They’re people of integrity and I’m thankful to know them!

I cannot put into words what this place has done for my family and I. Bert, Joey and Sarah are by far God sent. This is the place where you can find an honest mechanic, a level of customer service that sets the bar for others in this industry and a spirit of good that can be seen in the smiles and hearts of the owner and team

Nice and friendly place kid friendly also i was there with my 2 younger kids and they made me feel comfortable while waiting they got me in and out the wait wasnt too long they explained everything to me and even showed me what was wrong.they MIGHT be a little pricey BUT you get what you pay for ill be back and id recommend this shop to anybody

Fast, efficient, and friendly diagnostic service. They determined that the idiot light was the result of a loose connection, and remedied it quickly. Saved me a bunch of money and time.

Busy shop, with helpful very accommodating staff. They seemed sincere and cared about my needs and advised me on the necessary repairs.

The guy that checked my truck was a very unfriendly fellow with a arrogant attitude, I won't be going back there.

Called first thing this morning regarding my 2003 Honda Accord not shifting into park. Talked with Lisa. She said bring it in. Got there about 910am. They looked at and said the shifter assembly had gunk in it. Cleaned and lubed it. Working great now. Cost me $110.00. She did say that if it happens again, might need a new assembly which would cost a few hundred. I thought this place was fair, honest and upfront. I will definitely go back again if needed.

I appreciated the honesty and recommendations I received from the front office staff of Lisa and Bert. What totally impressed me was the work performed on my vehicle. I drive a 2001 Dodge Stratus.ha ha they probably already know who is writing this.anyways, I have a lot of car problems because my dodge is so old. I've visited the Rancho Cordova location at least 4 times in the last two months. So they totally deserve this good review. Because I've probably been such a pain in the ass. They have the most amazing customer service. Lisa is my favorite! The mechanics are all really cool to. You just know you're leaving your car in good hands. They defiantly deserve a big thank you. They've diagnosed and repaired my car on super short notice and in a short amount of time. Theyre quick honest friendly and reliable. Prices are REASONABLE. They offered to help me uber my way to work! Car problems suck. But this AAMCO team really rocks.
