Alamo Rent A Car

Disappointing experience with Alamo. Two days ago at LAX they refused my card and wouldn't let me get a car. Here they accepted the card but they wanted the passport which I did not have with me. I took my business to Avis.

I love Alamo. It is such a quick process, even at the locations where they don't offer "skip the counter" service. Over the years, I have used several other agencies, but I have stuck with Alamo for the past 4 because of the service and ease and low pressure rental and return processes.

I had a great experience with them. Their staff were really gentle also, the car was brand new and awesome to drive in. Lastly, return process was smoothly and easy! Cheers Alamo!

Great customer service! Easy check-in, check-out process. Always my go-to location for rentals.

After waiting an hour in line, we were told that all the reservations in last 48 hours won’t be honored! And people still can book a car on their website.

So other than a minor issue I need to call Alamo about regarding the rate Alamo staff at the Burbank airport were amazing. I had a small ding in my window that could’ve gone either way. Much thanks and appreciation to Justin the evaluator who concluded that the ding was so small that they could fix it there without having to go through my insurance. I am so grateful to Justin and Hazmik (sp) for making this experience so pleasant.

Very convenient location so close to the airport, friendly staff, but not much vehicles to selected.

Our #1 preferred Rental Car Company.especially at Long Beach airport. Doesn't get better than these guys right here!

I had reservation for 5: 30pm, showed up at 4: 30. They'll told me that they didn't have a car for me but had an upgrade. Not wanting to pay for the upgrade I returned at 5: 35.5: 35 and no car. They said they would clean one up and it would be out in 15 to 20 minutes.
I would not recommend this location.
40 minutes later and still no car.

Never had car rental place charge additional for not having class of car rented available before. First time for everything but i certainly will rent from another company from now.

The car didn’t smell great and had stains on the seats. The key didn’t have a key fob which was inconvenient and there were scratches on the exterior paint.

This was one of the best car rental experiences ever. I am very happy with the great upgrade they got for me and the experience was quick and efficient. Very happy customer and will only be using Alamo going forward!

Check in and pick up was so fast and easy, but vehicle smelled like cigarettes smoke. I reported over the phone anf I was told I could go back to exchange the vehicle but I'm an hour away from the nearest Alamo.

I would give Zero stars if I could. I went to the long beach airport location and they had the worst customer service. I left my shirt in the car and someone stole it and said they could not find it. They have not process for lost and found and the representative was extremely rude. You would have thought someone stole her shirt. I will never rent from that location again!

Quick and convenient online and counter service. I don't like to have to pay in advance for a full tank of gas even if you don't use it all. But I guess that's what you pay for the convenience to not stop at a gas station.

Car was not clean on the inside. It had stained carpet. The exterior was scratched up and had a few dents over it. Tried to see if they would give us a different car but they said it would cost 40 bucks more a day. Sorry Alamo but at least try to make it better.

Reserved car through Costco, went up to counter and received keys in about 10minutes. However car was terrrible! Brakes were loose making it difficult especially during the rainy weekend. Company should inspect these cars more often.

Excellent experience. Car was ready, staff was nice, price was as promised. Drop off at Reno airport was quick and easy, no problems, and the employee was exceptionally helpful. Overall, Alamo did a great job and we would recommend them.

Great place to rent a car for a weekend. Easy in and out experience. Friendly and helpful staff. The car we were given was brand new, it still had some of the stickers on the doors!

I always get a clean car and with a backup camera at Alamo. This has not been the case with other rental car companies at the Long Beach airport.
