Apparently if you have a 1pm appointment, you have to wait til 3pm to even attempt to get a dock door. Got here at 1215am and as of 1730 they JUST started unloading. I wont be back ever again.

Can't reach anyone on the phone. You call, get a voice prompt recording, says hold for an operator, "sorry, the operator is not available. The voicemail system is not accepting messages, " and it just keeps looping and looping. What a joke of a company for receiving/communication.

As we all know, delivering to Grocery DC’s can be quick or it can be a 5 hour waste of time. It all depends on what you are delivering. If you’re unfortunate enough that you are going to be here 5 hours- weigh how difficult or easy it is to collect detention from your broker or carrier.

If you bring Niagara Water, P&G etc you’ll be out in 1 to 2 hours.

If you bring anything else, especially those warehouses that are serviced by State Logistics (Fontana, San Bernardino, Buena Park) you will be here 3 to 5 hours. You better pray you’re broker doesn’t make you go through a mission impossible to win your rightful detention.

The issue is that when you get these 5 hour loads you’ll see that Albertsons is located in Orange County- to make matters worse, it’s not only located in Orange County but high end living Irvine, CA. It’s NOT trucker friendly at all. Don’t plan on getting here 5 hours early and parking on the street, you will get ticketed. Truth be told, you are at least an hour away from a place that you could get away with parking on the street for a couple of hours. Which brings me to ELD’s and Hours of Service. If you ran out of hours you can’t stay inside the Albertsons DC even though they have PLENTY of parking in the rear of their warehouse that’s not in use.

Again, it’s all about what product you’re delivering that will determine if coming here will make you run into some issues with your hours of service. Or if it’s even worth it.

No parking outside. Jeronomo road gate open at 12: 45 noon. They do let you in 2 hours early which I did today. Unloading very fast but still waiting for paperwork for 3 hrs and counting. One way inside yard reefer loads all the way around.

The place is a headache. The acronym "MAGA" is written on the Dry Receiving Manager's computer. That explains a lot of it. If Albertsons is going to advertise that they hire Nazis, though, they should go all-out, and recommend changing the name of Rite-Aid to "Reich-Aid. "

I read the reviews, and worried of the time. Saw that you can get there an hour early and did. My appointment was a Saturday night at 9, arrived shortly after eight, was docked and unloaded before 9. Lumper paperwork finished by 9: 15 and I was out. I either got lucky or they've improved. Hope it works out for everyone. Very friendly and nice guards and lumpers

Grocery distribution done well. You can arrive 1 hour before appointment. Lumpers paid by comcheck over the phone. Out in 3 hours, treated professionally.

Get here an hour before your appointment. There will be a line to check in and it'll take a while until they start unloading, once they do it'll be fast.as far as I know there aren't any parking spots near by so plan your day really well for this delivery.

It took 5 hrs and 45 min to unload 13 palets. I feel sorry for the guys who had full truck loads. Also get ready for big Lumper ticket.

Drivers use Jeronimo to enter warehouse. No street parking for trucks whatsoever in Irvine, you gotta time your self for the appointment, they ok with 1 hour early arrival. Toledo is employee parking address. Security check in is fast. Warehouse check in takes the longest time. Once you get a dock door lumper unloads very fast but if you have many PO’s it might take time for Albertsons employee to verify. Be aware It is really tight between the dock doors.

Smh. Don't make this your last stop. They will keep you here while your time runs out and take their sweet time unloading you!

Good people here. They get you in and out as fast as possible. Two port of entries. Depending on the time of day. Lumpers are available for a fee unless you have a traffic load, then it's free. The lumpers are located inside the receiving office at door 170. Usually takes 2 hours to offload. Lunch truck comes by often, pretty decent food. Bathroom available. Lastly their plenty of room in the yard to get into and out of your assigned door.

The Albertson's employees here are slothfully sorry and overpayed. Six hours from arrival to departure. The lumpers are fast but that does nothing to help the slow receiving process.
