Apple Valley Fair, Santa Clara CA

I went to this apple store right after Christmas in need of a new phone quickly, as mine was dying. The place was so packed that there was barely room for anyone to enter, but the greeted asked what I needed, then quickly got me to someone who could help me. It took us less than 5 minutes door to door to get a new phone and get out. One of the best experiences I’ve had in a store.

I asked for cf card reader the apple blue shirt "genius" brought a sd card stick. He first said there is no such thing as a cf card and this is it, after being showed what a cf card is, he claimed it is compatible with Sd cards. Apple deserves better.

As you expect super help from skilled people (we came from the MS shop across where the tablet had to be rebooted.)

Nice store, but it gets really busy on the weekend. I highly recommend you make an appointment. All the workers were very friendly. There was some confusion about getting my battery replaced, but the manager quickly resolved the situation.

Purchased iphone here factory unlocked.the customer service is quick.they held my iphone as promised.

Neutral. Never been here myself but only my kids playing games in the demo machines. My wife said getting genius service is badly structured and slow due to the crowd here.

The apple store in valley fair mall is huge. All apple products are available. Staffs are very much helpful and cooperating.

Always busy, get an appointment for this place. Staff is pleasant, professional and well mannered. They are patient and try to help which ever way they can. Did find the person helping me push for changing to a new phone which was not needed. They have plenty of open phone covers to touch and feel at the store.

After making appointment at 6. They asked us to wait and totally forgot about us!
I went there for battery replacement of Iphone 6 plus.
We had to ask for their manager and then they came around and took like 1.5 hours to get the thing done!

Overall Frustrating Experience!

Very crowded got seen after about an hour, but shopped elsewhere they text me when it was my turn

Bad customer service, when I took my iPad for fixing some power issue. Genius bar is just not genius.

Terrible experience on phone call service. Order replacement battery three weeks ago was told should be ready in two weeks. Tried to call the store to find out if the battery had arrived or not, and waited more than an hour already on the phone and still waiting.

I came here other day to get help on my laptop that was repaired 2 months ago. I got help from David Lyday.he was very good at listening to your problems unlike others who doesn't listen and just want to finish so you can leave the store. David made sure my laptop was fixed before I leave.if you ever need help go see him and he will do his best to help you and get your problem solved.thanks

Really friendly and helpful staff. My mac was out of apple care warranty for 20day and was showing "service the battery" icon for a while. They took care of the issue and didn't charge me for the repair. Took my word for the fact that the issue was there for months. The repair itself took just 2 days. I am very happy with this apple store.

Worst customer service experience. We pay so much to Apple but we get the crappiest customer service. I was here to replace a battery, it's been over a month now and still not replaced. I went back and forth to this store 5 times and every time they can't accommodate my repair which isn't free. Not a single sorry or oh we'll do something. This is my last iPhone for sure.

Visited for a iphone repair related issue.long wait but very organised.they took the contact number and gave estimated wait time.then they messaged me when they were ready.

Hate this store! Three visits in three months for repair issues. Had scheduled appointments all three times but Apple Tech 30-45 minutes late getting to me and then, on two occasions, was very slow resolving my issue because the"Genius" was constantly being distracted by other "Geniuses". Other Apple stores don't seem to be as bad, but make sure you pack a lunch before coming to Apple for support. Remember.you are there to serve them (pay $$$), not the other way around.

This is a horrible and snob store. I called them to get an idea about wait times because the appointments to change my ipad air battery were very inconvenient. They told me that I could come slightly before the store opens and the technicians were there early. I went there half an hour early and waited at the door. There is not even a bench to sit and at least 20 people lined up before the store opened. I was 9 months pregnant and believe me it was so fun to stand there half an hour. When finally the doors opened and I got in I found out that they did not even had ipad air battery in store and I had to come again. The jerk who talked to me on the phone did not even bother to check it although I told him my reason to visit. Luckily the guy at the genius bar found out that Los Gatos store had it and reserved it for me - so 1 star is for him. Los Gatos store was a much better experience - much less wait and they did the job.

Got Iphone X spent over 1000$. Didn't give me the carry bag told me to pay for that, it costs 1/10000 of the phone. They are so cheap. I don't suggest anyone as they don't look for customer satisfaction. They just want to make money.

Very sucky experience.

Purchased the phone online and went here to pickup on a Sunday evening. Rushed all the way since I was late. Reached at the gate at 18: 58. Yet according to the security guard "store is closed".

Won't listen to any reason.

Very off putting. Will not be going to this store again.
