A great service experience at Autobahn today. Contactless check-in at the clean, bright and airy service bay. My service representative made sure to meet me in person when I picked up my car and discussed the service. Getting my car back clean and washed was a real treat. Thanks Joe!

Brought the car in for an AC repair, Johnny was efficient and has a sharp eye for details, accomplished the job quickly and before I knew it, it was cool again in my car. I'd recommend Autobahn to any Mercedes owner in need of expert service!

I have taken my G550 to other SF Bay Area Mercedes dealerships closer to home for servicing but Autobahn's skill, customer service and integrity make it far superior to its competitors. Over the past two years, my service advisor (Josh Cassettari) has taken the time to thoughtfully explain my servicing work in detail and any additional maintenance or repairs when needed. He has even caught issues that other dealers missed, thereby saving me money down the road. I'm not a car expert, but Josh and the rest of the team make sure I understand what's going on with my car without ever being patronizing. As a female owner who has encountered unfriendly and condescending service from the service department at other dealerships, it is a relief to find a dealership, and specifically a service department, that truly appreciates its customers.

I did not purchase my G550 from Autobahn but I intend to purchase my next one there. Any dealership can sell a car, but not all of them can provide superior post-sale service consistently over several years. Autobahn is doing something right and I hope more dealerships can learn from them as the gold standard, at least for the Bay Area.

The bad review is based on the customer service I received from Michael Tran after I bought a used 2016 Porsche Cayman from them, but the car sales person who helped me with the purchase Jeremy was great and professional.

Simple factual story - I bought a used car from them but found out that the door panel on drivers side was deformed and popping out a day after, I contacted them immediately about this to schedule an appt to have them take a look. My sales person Jeremy was OOO so Michael Tran was assigned to me. Michael Tran does not return my text, and was rude and reluctant to discuss it saying things like "can't you put it back yourself? ".

I don't believe anyone would spent 54235.24 on a Porsche if they know of this issue beforehand. The following are the argument from Michael:

1. "You bought the car at a discounted price" - The agreed price has nothing to do with this issue, unless you told the customer about it before the purchase and offer incentive, otherwise this is irrelevant to the issue.

2. "We did help you to lubricate door and buckle" - The rattling buckle was promised by Jeremy to be taken care of before I bought the car because the service department was closed on weekends, and I do appreciate the lubrication on the doors when the buckle was addressed.

So to recap - I bought a used car from them with this issue on the door panel, I discovered shortly after and contacted Michael Tran about it - they refused to do anything about it and gave me the attitude.

Based on the experience, 1 star, don't recommend to buy used car from them.

Mell Vaillancourt sure knows his craft. Kept me informed as needed, completed the work as promised the same day. Great service from the team as well with an extra treat from the cocoa machine too.

From start to finish I had a great experience with the service department. The new building makes drop off much easier. Staff was friendly and helpful as usual.

Tear in my drivers seat was swapped out with a new seat in a timely manner. I am very happy MB stood by their cars and made sure I was happy.

On 2 occasions I’ve received horrible service and they didn’t have a loaner car available even though I specifically schedule the appointment around a loaner being available. They basically told me too bad, we’re busy.

I did a service there it's a pretty good one. Got a loaner car for use during the service. Guys there are nice and the service took around 6 hours so be sure to be there in the morning

I have been a customer since 2011 and have had mostly good experiences but for one REALLY BAD experience when your service provider let me drive off the lot knowing that my engine had a major issue; my car stopped dead in freeway traffic not a week later, leaving me in a very dangerous situation. That was back in 2012. Since then I have been quite satisfied. Until now.

My service provider Jimmy needs a LOT of training. Where do I begin: 1. He speaks so quickly that I had to constantly ask him to repeat himself. 2. I came in for an "A" service which your website estimated was $262. While there Jimmy advised new tires for the rear, and when I asked him how much, his answer began with "they are about. " What? What does he mean "about? " Look it up and give me the price; if there are add-ons, then give me the price of those as well. He has all the information at his fingertips, and I wasn't asking for an estimate or approximation; I asked how much each tire cost, and I had to go back and forth with him to get that information. Don't tell me "about $600" and expect me to be satisfied.

But here is the worst: when he gave me the estimate for my service, understanding I was now also going to buy two tires which were "about $600", the total was more than $1,400! How, might one wonder, did Jimmy get to that estimate? I asked him just that, and he then told me for the first time of three services/parts he simply added in: no discussion, no inquiry from me, nothing. He up-sold services/parts not requested nor discussed and included that in the total. Because he speaks too quickly and unprofessionally it took me a few moments to realize what was going on. If this is your training i.e. To up-sell services to your clients without discussion, advice or inquiry, then shame on you. One could argue that you are funding your remodel on the backs of unsuspecting customers. I questioned him as to how he got to that estimate, and he then for the first time detailed three things never discussed nor requested. I can't remember what two of them were, but the first was windshield wipers which I agreed to. However, that doesn't change the fact that he just added those in without any request from me nor discussion that I needed to replace mine. Again, when I asked him how much they were, do you want to guess his answer? "they are about. "

My experience did not get any better. Jimmy had called prior to my car being finished and told me that some cracked bushings were discovered and did I want to replace them. I did not know what that meant so naturally I asked and he told me that it impacts tire wear; I declined to replace at this time. I then arrived, received my invoice and paid for the service, reviewing the document for work done. However, it wasn't until I got home that I saw on the last page a recommendation to replace "Engine- MOUNTS COLLAPSED, Customer will have work performed later", with an estimate of $1,126.00" I had no idea what this is and nobody ever discussed this with me. So I did a little research on my own and learned the purpose of these mounts, as well as replacement costs. Here is what I learned: "Usually, motor mounts replacement costs between $224 and $563 for parts and labor, and you can pick the mounts up online for between $38 and $145. " How does Autobahn justify an estimate which is DOUBLE? While Jimmy asked me about "bushings" he said nothing about any issue with my engine mount. I did not decline this work.

Finally, when I picked up my car, I discovered a dirty work rag and someone's defrosting burrito on my passenger seat [I am not making this up]. What a terrible experience. Your quality has definitely gone downhill, as I have previously had really good experiences.

I brought in my E350 for 40k service. Service Advisor Reed Paulsen was very helpful and took care of all service items requested. The new service location was very clean and welcoming. 5-star experience indeed.

At first walking into Autobahn Motors gave me a feeling of omnipotence.
Once inside the showroom, we felt relaxed and we were able to focus on
buying a car. I appreciate the low key professionalism of the staff. The car

I took our GL450 for service to Autobahn Motors. Jonny was the service manager who helped me. He is great. Explained what will be done and when it will be ready. Everything was taken care of without any issues. He is one of the best.
