Avalon Studio City, Los Angeles CA

Man. This place is amazing. I moved here from AVA about a month ago, and the experience has been incredible. Ewa and Bo an a phenomenal job of answering any questions I have, and they help me promptly with any perceived issues. And as far as the service, my man HELMER always gets the job done. He has helped me out with so many things, and has given me solid advice throughout my stay here so far. I will definitely be here for a long time.

I lived in Avalon Studio City for 2 glorious years in LA. Circa 2017 to 2019. I found this complex at the last minute by recommendation of a leasing agent at another totally unrelated apartment complex in DTLA. I knew that meant a lot. And once I drove to Studio City to view the apartments 2 hours before my flight back home - I was sold. Nervous, because I did not get to see my unit until after I relocated to California a couple months later, I was very happy with my choice. I could not have asked for a more spacious, naturally lit unit with a beautiful view of the mountains. The surrounding neighborhood was wonderful as it was within walking distance to the best Ralph's in the area, many great restaurants on the strip, and close to freeways near lots of cool activities. I got to use the pool and gym at both Avalon and next door at AVA which was fun. My neighbors were mostly cool and down to earth people in the entertainment industry. Management was not so great in the beginning, but once they switched out the problematic one it was better. The complex did not have any roach/rodent problems which was very important to me and I felt safe there, which was also very important to me. I would say the major cons were (1) always under construction.like nonstop, they'd fix things and a few months later it would seem like they didn't really do much.but they'd just keep fixing stuff.very inconvenient and disturbing during the day (2) My unit was very dingy and dated for the majority of my stay, which I was not used to. Towards the end of my 2nd year lease, they finally renovated my unit after months of procrastination and delay from my original renovation date. I know they did that on purpose because I was not renewing my lease and they wanted to keep it new for the next tenant. But too bad I didn't get to live in the newly renovated unit for longer than a month or 2, because it was very nice! I believe this was the reason price went way up, which leads me to my next con. (3) annual price increase was ridiculous.but thats Cali for you. Last but not least. (4) poop.stinky dog poop all around the complex all the time and it was just horrible.
Overall, I give Avalon Studio City 4 stars because they checked my boxes for the most important things and nothing traumatic happened to me while living there. Unless you count the ticket I got for parking on the wrong side of the street due to lack of guest parking at night. Beware of the signs! I was literally 5 minutes late moving my car before time and got a ticket. My fault, not theirs. Just worth mentioning as a tip to others reading this. Oh, and there was one time i got a note on my car that said "go home.you are not welcomed here. LA is crowded enough". Again, nothing to do with Avalon just my neighbors. I had a garage parking space anyway, and it was my rental car.but still. How rude! I saw a few wild things on Bluffside during my time living here. But it wasn't unexpected, because after all.it is very close to North Hollyweird!

Just getting to the end of my first year here.bo and the rest of the staff are just super soilders, just about to move to my new apartment in Avalon and will be here for many years, Helmer is just the man, always comes quick and fixes anything so fast and always a happy chatty dude even though h must be one busy man, move here, you will love the amenities and staff.so clean and nicely fitted,

Clean, comfortable, original and friendly. What else could you ask for? A huge and comfortable bed? A well provided and affordable minibar? A restaurant with good options? An amazing swimming pool? An artsy and well thought of environment? This hotel has it all. If you are visiting here, this is a great place to stay.

I have had the pleasure of living at Avalon Studio City for several months now and the leasing office employees Bo and Jay are amazing! Bo is both professional and compassionate. I left my passport in my old apartment and the maintenance found it and Bo contacted me immediately. Jay is the best property manager I have ever met. Not only is he helpful and polite, he goes above and beyond to make my girlfriend and I feel like we are family. I have gone to several apartment complexes and none compare to the amenities, staff, and apartments. We never want to leave. I work from home so I always use the office by the pool to write and work. It's clean, quiet, and spacious. Coming from Boston, this is honestly paradise. You will not regret moving here!

When the nice server asked if we'd like to have dessert (they make a mean of the menu). That's how good this restaurant is. You want to keep eating the food because even though you're full you just can't get enough of the tastes. Thank you so much!

Couldn't have been happier with my experience. Special thanks to Bo! She really went above and beyond to make sure she found an apartment that accommodated all of my needs. I've moved quite a few times in the past two years, and by far, Bo's service was second to none. Happy I chose Avalon Studio City but happier I'm with an apartment complex that values great service.

The apartment has been presenting new amenities and the maintenance staff is phenomenal. A shoutout belongs especially to Ray of the maintenance crew - his upbeat demeanor and friendliness go far beyond the requirements of the job, but as always, Ray, as well as the rest of the maintenance staff always go above and beyond!

Andrew Lopez is a total rock star. On Mothers Day he came out around 9PM to work on my backed up sink, I kept saying he could come back the next day to finish the job, but he persisted and got to the root of the problem (the entire main line way backed up) and prevented what would have likely been an overnight flooding. Thank you so much, Andrew!

Ricardo is super helpful, kind and went above and beyond to help with the issues I had with my apartment. Great addition to the existing team of Avalon and AVA Studio City.

The best living experience! The staff is always on call and ready to help you. Just yesterday, my two bulbs went out 8in my 25 ft ceiling! Edi, Abraham, and Luiz immediately came with ladders and replaced the bulbs in less than 30 minutes! All I can say is wow. Thank you Avalon Studio City for being the best apartment complex I’ve stayed in here in LA!

Helmer and Ricardo are awesome! They come right away and they always fix everything i need. Thanks you guys!

Ricardo is Best Maintenance Tech! I needed his help twice in one week and he came through for me! I appreciate his help and great attitude!

My wife and I recently took a tour of this complex and we love it. Maya was an excellent host.friendly, informative, honest and caring. We walked through all of the amenities and pricing and Maya was very clear about everything. It’s a great area and looks like a fun place to live. Love the customer service we received! A+ My wife and I are putting in our application this week.

After living here for more than a year, one thing I can say for sure is that the maintenance team is absolutely the best. They are always prompt and very friendly. Especially Ricardo solves maintenance issue right away always with a smile. Thanks to the team, stress free when it comes to maintenance issue.

Not appropriate for family. Dangures people are living there. Management and stuff aren't honest. They steal from deposits.

Just had a ton of little things, that piled up and needed to be fixed or replaced around the apartment. Ricardo was sent to take on the task. He was professional, efficient and knowledgable! Everything was completed in no time and without any hassle.

I have enjoyed living here. I’ve always found the leasing office staff to be quite helpful and the maintenance staff to be friendly and effective. It’s true that there is a lot of construction happening but I’m personally excited about my building being upgraded and enhanced.
Traci has gone out of her way to make the renovations as comfortable as possible, Maya has always been a pleasure to work with and Ricardo is a great maintenance guy. Thanks to all of you.

Coming up on 2 years of living here, and everybody from the maintenance team to the staff at the leasing office has made it feel like a place to call home! Maya, in particular, has always been there for anything that's come up and has gone above and beyond to help and make sure that my experience here has been nothing but excellent, really couldn't ask for more!

Completely under construction, dogs pee and poop in the hallways, only one or two elevators work at a time. Not worth the money not to mention the poor sanitary conditions
