24Way overrated! Waited 30 minutes to get inside, and super disappointed at the quality of the food! We ordered 1 house special bánh cuốn and 1 bún riêu, 15 minutes later, the server came out and said that they do not have any "riêu" left and will only have tofy. He even made it sounded like we will have to eat w/o riêu. Of course not because what "bún riêu" will be like w/o riêu. Now comes the bánh cuốn which claimed to be the best in OC, to my dissppointment, it was nothing compares to Bánh Cuốn Lý Thái Tổ or even Bánh Cuốn Hồng Hương where every dish was freshly made from scratch, the rice paper was super thin and warm. Here, the food came out cold and flavorless, the rice paper has no softness as if they were microwaved, not freshly made as claimed, the fish sauce was too salty. Not coming back!
Good banh coun restaurant. Can't go wrong with any of the choices there. As usual, if you don't know what to order. #1 at any restaurant is the safe bet.
The best garlic noodles in town. Definitely have to get the imperial rolls and five spice chicken as well.
Finally got to try to plum soda, a must try if you like sour drinks! So refreshing and goes super well with the garlic noodle as it balances everything out.
Great place. Rice sheets are thin, and you get a lot for a very fair/cheap price. And the nuoc mam is very good; tastes homemade
