Belmont Brokerage & Management, Long Beach CA

It's been a great experience so far compared to two other property management companies as I moved in Yesterday and have been searching the past week. The place I'm in is perfect for me. They thought of everything inside and it's move in ready. Compared to other properties from other companies. They even gave me a gift bag when I moved in with some supplies for cleaning and what not. I hope my future with them is as great as the onboarding had been

On 6/28 I paid an application fee for an apartment that I had viewed the previous day. On 7/2 I called and the girl who answered the phones had no interest in even listening to my questions, let alone answering them. All she would tell me is that my application would be reviewed in 3-5 days. On the fifth day 7/3 I called multiple times and left a voicemail with my contact info and as of today 7/11 still Belmont Brokerage has made absolutely NO attempt at getting a hold of me. They took my $40 application fee and ran.
I already rented a more expensive apartment with no issues so I know there wasnt a problem with any credit/background report.
I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

EDIT: on 7/13 the supervisor called and apologized and issued a refund of my application fee.

I was really impressed with how fast Belmont was able to take care of my situation. My tub was not draining and I placed a maintenance request at midnight, got an email from Rebecca and a call from the plumbing company before 9am that very morning to let me know the tech could be there in less then 30 minutes. It was awesome! Thank you Belmont! You guys are awesome!

I've been here for 10+ years and Belmont has always been quick to address maintenance issues. Most recently I had a bathtub back-up that was resolved by Crystal within 24 hours

I moved into a property owned by Belmont Brokerage and Management on Jan. 31st 2020, and my experience has been so pleasant. The property is maintained on a consistent basis, meaning gardening and cleaning take place weekly like clock work. The staff are helpful when I phone in, whether regarding maintenance requests, or accounting they attend to my needs in a timely manner. Thank you Belmont Brokerage and Management, I appreciate you.

Lately the buildings been going thru many maintenance calls and Rubens team has been taken care quickly all the issues keep up the good job.

This Company is extremely unprofessional. You give them a 30 day notice, they don’t reply, yet they end up wanting to charge another months worth of rent; even though you’re not living in the property. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental company. I would not recommend this company to my friends and family.

I am new renter at belmont brokerage & management all workers are friendly nice they help for evrything and when I request maintenance they fixed fast. I am new immigrant here I luckey to be one costumer at this company. Thank you very much. For all worker.

I have lived in my apartment for many years.
Anytime I have had maintenence issues the crew has responded quickly. They are polite and friendly and always do a good job.

I want to Thank you for being there when, I need something fix. One night my sink in bath room was back up from up stair neighbor. I called for services and the came right away and the next day they came cleaned my carpet. I just want to say Thank you for all way's being there for my family.

Not at good experience at all. I returned the premises clean and shine but they still charged me 1600 supposedly for cleaning services. I had to make payments to pay it off the collection company. My credit was ruined even know I pay it off for something unfair now is showing in my credit report and I am having a hard time removing it. I do not recommend this company to anyone.

Horrible place to rent and work at! Beware of the snake Holly Armstrong! Owners take your building back their crooks and over charge you 20% on everything! Their liars and the workers all smoke weed! I am a tenant at the momment at 6151 linden ave i have live here almost 7 years never had a problem until almost a year ago they keep raising my rent every 2months by the way PATRICIA CAAL THIS OLD LADY IS THE WORST EVER SHES A SCUMBAG SHES NOT PROFESIONAL SHE IS A LIAR SHE IS RUDE! THE BUILDING MANAGER DONT FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE BUILDING SHE ALWAYS PARK N BLOCKS MY GARAGE DOOR I ALWAYS NEED TO CALL THE OFFICE TO HAVE HER MOVE SO I CAN GO OUT WITH MY CAR ITS BEEN HELL LATELY HERE ITS SEEM LIKE THEY KEEP RAISING MY RENT SO ILL MOVE OUT ITS UNFAIR WHAT THEY DO HERE MY NEIGHBORS DONT PAY WHAT I PAY IN RENT THEIR PAYING WAY LESS N THEY BEEN HERE ABOUT MAYBE 3 YEARS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ALL THOSE GOOD REVIEWS THEY HAVE ARE FAKE IM SORRY BUT IM SAYiNG THE TRUTH

Horrible on site manager, horrible managment company that goes off opinions and hear say of the on site manager.horrible communication and lack of respect

If i could give this company a lesser rating I would. The practices within this company are terrible. They take bribes from unlicensed and unqualified people to repair the units. The employee taking bribes is Patricia Caal before her it was Tee. Her and her family are defrauding the company and putting the tenants in danger. She gives the jobs that should be going to a licensed contractors to her ex-husband who has no qualifications or licensing to do said jobs. On one occasion I was approached by Patricia and a man I did not know because I had lost my job and I was going to get evicted. She told me that if i paid her she would not evict me. I ended up giving her $700 to keep me and my family from getting evicted. They threatened me to prevent me from saying anything about this issue. Since I no longer live in their units I feel safe enough to post about it. I have placed several complaints with everyone in the office including the company owner about the money I was asked for and the other bribes she takes but they have not done anything about it so I decided to post here and other forums to hopefully get the word out to their clients so they will investigate.

The employees are very nice, and understanding. They gave me the information I needed without giving me attitude. My sister is renting an apartment with them and so far so good.

I have to pay my rent i receive my checks through the mail and the property management has failed to respond to the post office so i can receive my mail and packages from amazon this is not right and on top of that they have not made any repairs to my apartment this unprofessional to the most

Worst rental company, they never fix anything even if you put the written request in, all they are good for is taking your money and giving excuses.

The staff at Belmont Brokerage Company have been very professional about the application process with me. So far, they have met my expectations.

Slum lords! Horrible people horrible service. Cheap prices but you deffintly get what you pay for here don't expect anything.
